Camelo Anthony forced D'anthony out of the Job and strong armed mr potato head (mike woodson) to force the ball out of Lin's hands. The jealousy and ego of one man destroyed Linsanity.
Jeremy Lin made Tyson, Jefferies, Landry fields, Steve Novak and Bilky Walker look like allstars.
This man made the knicks exciting to watch.
This is why i don't feel bad about melo having no rings. You reap what you sow

Exactly! I was thinking karma the whole time when Melo was going thru all that bad press of no team want this ball stopper former all star thing. Harvard highlights, undrafted, brilliant Summer League, got picked up by GSW, then Knicks. I remember my connection was so bad for the Celtics game before the NJ Nets game where he had a decent 2nd half showing that I almost gave up. Then Linsanity happened! My connection also dropped out for the last shot in Toronto smh lol. Anyways, I appreciate those times and gotta say he has nothing to regret in his career.

OFFENSIVE THREATS, that after that were never offensive threats, like Tyson Chandler, Jared Jeffries,
Landry Fields, even guys like Steve Novak played amazing with Jeremy, the whole team played team
ball and it was JEREMY'S TEAM. I am so ashamed what Carmelo did to coach D'antoni and Jeremy Lin.

NYC the Mecca of B-Ball on the Planet is full of knowledgeable fans, but don't expect Mike Breen ( who should have been fired from MSG maybe 15 years ago for sprouting negativity about the team every minute of the broadcast like fans didn't already know how bad the team was.
I have only seen the first snippets of the MSG Doc and read an article or two, but I am sure the Media will fail to mention some of the key things about this event as usual. So, far nobody has asked Lin why did he think he failed to perform like a superstar for the balance of his career ? I know the Media will never mention how they all joined hands and crowned Lin the team's best player and juxtapositioned him against Carmelo and created drama like " when Anthony returns he better recognize Lin is the team's best player ". They never admit to their larceny and because of the politically correct world we live in no one had the guts to mention the never before seen fever about Linsanity that was lit by the support of Chinese fans many of who were not Knick fans , but were understandably hysterical about the success of their countryman .
I loved Jeremy and was shocked at his decline and hurt when he left the team , but I also felt the bad side of the promotion of Linsanity which at its height eclipsed not only all of the players on the team, but eventually morphed into a national phenomena that had other stars in the NBA seemingly jealous and determined to push up on Jeremy and challenge his manhood . I would welcome a documentary about all of the aspects of Linsanity , but I'm sure the Media will produce a puff piece that fails to examine central aspects.man .

@@vincentbrown1872 I think it can. Look at how injuries derail the careers of players like Derrick Rose or shaun livingston. The kind of injuries lin and rose and shaun suffered arent just like bruises or scrapes, they are season ending, career altering injuries that can affect your athleticism permanently. And its not like Lin wasn't good after the knicks. Like I said before he played well in charlotte and the nets before he got injured, and found a niche as a veteran guard with the Hawks last year, and getting a ring with the raptors.

Knick fan for life. And I loved Linsanity. But also, Mayweather was right: ‘If Jeremy Lin was a black point guard who burst on the scene doing that...it would not have even been noteworthy...but not a sensation.
(In no way does that take away from what JLin did.... playing with a do-or-die, leave-it-all-on-the-table attitude is commendable.)
But time ultimately proved Floyd correct...he was an average player. Who had a superhuman 2-3 weeks.
Remember when the press had the audacity to ask Melo...(a 1st ballot HOF)...and at the time the highest game winning shot % "Who should take the last shot...u or Jeremy"?

Corona Virus It makes sense as he broke a stereotype just like there were some hype when Obama became president. It’s something but it’s not racism that he got all that hype when Linsanity happened

Where did I say anything about racism?

Straight up Bum juice. Played on 7 teams damn near after the knicks. WITHOUT MELO AND STAYED INJURED DOING NOTHING. If he was really good... He would’ve had another Linsanity.

True. You ain’t lying. Remember this guy went to Harvard , homie was sleeping on the couch. 7 different teams and had a front row seat and watch his squad win a title. Two weeks of playing good basketball got him a 9 year nba career. That’s legend career to me. Bum to you maybe, but a legend in my book.

AfroNinja ok shump tore his acl in game one. They had no other guards and Lin’s sitting on the bench at 80%. The team played well at the end of the season similar to how they played in 99 and beat the 1 seed Heat. Just saying, u never know if u can win a series and him not playing pissed everyone off. I get it’s a business and his contract and all that but he left anyway. Could have put up a better fight against Miami if they had Lin. All knicks fans were pissed
