Look at 5:21, Melo was not happy with what is going on. He stayed motionless even after the shot went it and the arena exploded. He knew he need to drive Lin out at that point

Melo is overrated. Scorer but not a winner.

As humble as he is, Jeremy Lin deserves all the credit, his videos are back to give people in the world Hope and the feeling of beating all odds at times like this. Bring back Linsanity!!

Jeremy was so good for New York basketball. The classic underdog. No one believed in him, fighting for his spot, finally proving himself. Going from nothing to the biggest thing in sports. Humble, gave credit to his teammates all the time... Then Melo came back and NY hasn't had anything good for them going since.

Don’t get me wrong Melo had to be salty because the organization had put him on a pedestal who he thought the team was going to be built around him. Here comes this unknown kid who fit the d’antonie system and it worked. However Melo believed he was the answer to success, just not team success.

Jeremy Lin inspired me to play ball, got good (not D1 good) but it got me a scholarship in the Philippines. The basketball here is really not as good as in the USA but it's still fun.

While the Media all join hands and promote the same narrative here are a few truths you won't hear them say :
    - At its height, Linsanity not only eclipsed every other player on the team but morphed into a national phenomenon that began to eclipse the best players on other teams and resulted in putting a target on Jeremy's back. In this aspect, it went from wonderful to problematic.
-Unfortunately, Mark Berman of the Post and some others in the Media started pitting Lin against Anthony in a divisive way that promoted public drama and dissension separating players into two camps those in favour of Linsanity and those opposed to it.
    - Glorifying Lin's highlights, meteoric rise and rags to riches story should be taken in context with its failures and emotional crash and recognition that it lasted for mere minutes leaving fans in despair in direct relation to how much love one had.
Lastly, proof that our major sports outlets deal only with politically correct narratives and are averse to facts and truth is evident by them ignoring the match that lit the fire on Linsanity was the feverish support he received from a lot of Chinese fans who were not necessarily Knick fans, and failure to address the 500-pound gorilla in the room and ask Lin why he stopped performing like a star so fast he would have to be called a shooting one.

@@corey6572 Typical ignorant response popular among newbies and in our " Twitterverse " today that says nothing and shows zero understanding . The only thing I hate is the lack of intelligent discourse obvious in stupid replies like " hating " .

J Lin did not deserve anything you said. He may not be the best player in the world, but he certainly had something no other player ever had, including MJ, that is having fand cheering his success on non home court and have the jealousy of all those so called big stars.

Any player can have a bad game. Yiu cannot take away the good consecutive games he had especially on national TV
