Yup. Melo play style was different. He would need the ball in his hand. which created a stagnant offense. When he get DT. Then he would kick it. On the other hand. Lin play style was whoever was open and that was their strength he would feed them the ball. So everyone had to put their weight in. I think is the coach's fault and management fault. They try to implement Carmelo offense in there. While the previous guys did not have much offense as melo but provided Hussle.
If Knicks kept Jeremy Lin and traded Melo for another superstar who could share the ball. Jeremy had 4-6 healthy year left. They would do better than having Melo.
These guys gelled and that's what made it great. They all needed each other to excel and pulled together. Too bad petty jealousy ruined it and management fell for it.

Once this ended he got his team of essentially retired players like "Kmart", "the Baron", "Cambyman","JKidd" who did nothing but who Woodson and other insisted were "real ballers". Pathetic.
