As a driving instructor, I would like to see motoring journalists set a good example and obey road rules in these video reviews. Not indicating left when exiting a roundabout (NSW), and not stopping at Stop signs (6:27) are two I picked up in this video. Failure to stop (at Stop sign) is an INSTANT fail item on the NSW driving test. Good review Stephen.
This was a terrible review. Reviewer sounded like he was disinterested and spent more time on the negatives. Feels very ‘beige’ in his description of the vehicle. There are better reviews of this vehicle.
Thanks for the question. The Geely brand has not launched in Australia yet. There is a chance it will come to Australia down the track, but until then we have reviews and news for some of Geely's other brands, including Volvo, Polestar and Zeekr, on the site.
It still baffles me why they feel the need to charge so much to service an EV?? There's technically no servicing schedule for Teslas, so why are other brands charging you so much just to "look" under the car and maybe rotate the tyres? Unless they're replacing expensive parts (which I know there's rarely a need to) then how on earth can you charge over $600 for a quick check of the vehicle? Also cabin and AC air filters don't cost much either, so what else are they replacing??
That's the entire purpose of the car. If you're not satisfied, you might want to consider purchasing a different EV, such as a Tesla, an MG, or even the Mach-E. There will be numerous new EVs entering the market in 2025 you'll have the choice. 👍
Dude have some self respect and just refuse the money to review this. If you trully dont believe this is a good car then just reject the paycheck. Horrible review overall.
Ansicht ein geiles Auto hab selber einen, aber der Scheiss Wagen läuft ständig innen an , 15 km Fahrt und abgestellt, nach 10 Minuten sind alle Scheiben beschlagen, so ein scheis , ist es bei dir auch so
Byd company makes a lot of promises at the time of buying a car. There are three E6 cars parked in Jaipur for which company is not changing the battery under guarantee. If any brother buys this car then he should buy it after thinking carefully.
These cars are toys. With a sub 500km range the car only suits people who drive short distances or have another car. Nobody would say an MX5 is a practical car for most people and EV's with less than 500km range are not practical. If you fast charge the battery you degrade the battery, If you drive on the highway you are not getting the claimed range. 750km range will make these cars useful.....until then it's a rich persons toy.
"People who drive short distances". The average Australian drives 32km per day. Being 32km a short distance, I'd say EVs suit most Australians. Not to mention that LFP batteries do not degrade over time more than a fraction of those Li-Ion. Honestly, very few people do 800km road trips on a regular basis. Any EV with a 400-500km range will allow you to do a 600km trip with three stops, which most people were still gonna do (i for sure) to take wee, have a nibble, stretch your legs or just allow the kids to vent out of the car. So, in reality, EVs do not have such a range issue, but many people do tend to believe that they need a car that does 1000km in one tank for the one trip they do ever year. My Mazda cx-5 does 400km in one tank and no one mentioned it to be an issue, ever.
I took it on a quite few road trips and my range was limited by bladder and hunger. no one drives 750km without stops. and no fast charging doesn't affect longevity in liquid cooled battery packs.

I noticed the same thing myself! Wooops.
3.5k cheaper, that certainly helps builds your dreams.
its easy to know if its the new Atto 3. The new ones have the "BYD" name at the back, Old ones have the "Build Your Dreams"
You know, you know, you know
Which model is that dynamic or superior ?

I got the same impression too. Like he just wanted to go home and watch TV instead.
I don’t think I’ve seen such a lacklustre review before.
Yeah it sounds like he HATES the car and was forced to review it.
Many of the improvements mentioned are available to all models as a software update like Apple CarPlay and karaoke as well as improved aircon
Is it good !
Title says 2025, but guy in video says 2024. WHich is it?
It's the 2024, the 2025 apparently has a different interior.

Charging speed at AC ???
15.6inch
You know x 1000
No, I don't know
It’s common and consistent to see how painful reviewers look when they wanted to give positive feedback about Chinese cars.
when you guys are going to review geely?

Exactly my thoughts too, will not be committing to those service arrangements!
There is a new cheaper service option that was released recently
55 times keeps saying you know of course I don’t know
If they changed the awful interior , I would buy it.

Sad not a lot of kms in a range. I want a new car around this size with min 700kms on range. But don’t know what and what is affordable
