Going nuts trying to diagnose this dumb lil motor… I can feel the lightest bit of spark but it’s not strong enough to go through the plug maybe this will help.
I lost spark when I put on a new starter for my son’s pit bike. I had to take off the cover to remove it from the little chain it was attached to, I’m still not getting spark.
All I can say is troubleshoot... Start from the easy stuff first... Spark plug, Kill switch, coil, or even your connectors make sur all of them are still connecting strong...
@@doobyboy21not exactly. It was really hard to try to hold the flywheel in the correct spot because of the magnets. I think I had some other issues too and still haven’t got it fixed. Think the coil fried out again after I did some other testing. It shouldn’t be so hard lol
Just wanted to say thank you your video was so helpful I watched so many videos that were no help or unsafe choices and out of 100 video YOU and ONE other were the only two to mention (stator sensor placement) fixed everything..got my spark back 😂
I have been chasing my azz too on this damn fourwheeler!! I will look into this!! Changed everything!! Went through everything! Never would have thought!!! I'll report back sometime! After I find my azz!! LOL!
I wouldn't say "usually that's the issue" at all. I've never heard of it myself and I've been selling and repairing them for 15 years. I haven't seen any myself that are adjustable. Fixed distance usually. Strange but hey if it worked rejoice. Seen a lot of fixes that shouldn't have been fixes but worked lol
Don't know if anyone will see this but I got a little 72cc china bike and I got it running great and I was trying to hook up the ignition wires so I could have lights and I touched 2 of the ignition wires together and pop, now it just cranks, I checked the only fuse i can find and it looked good i swapped it with a different one just in case and it didn't work. If anyone has any ideas please let me know as this is basically my little get around quad. Please and thank you
@@doobyboy21 i haven’t gotten mine To. Everything else is good, just can’t get spark. Was running good until I decided to give It a tune up for my boy to ride it and haven’t been able to get it started since.
Thank you very much, I just bought an atv from ebay which has no spark. After adjusting the gap between the pickup and the flywheel it runs like a charm🥳
@@garypitzer8729 you can try to move it little by little if you have the patience... But a puller would be my number 1 recommendation... Those are cheap. Check out at harbor freight, or Canadian Tires if you are in Canada like me.

Awesome ! Thanks for the update on your problem ! Happy it fixed your issue !
Adjusted it got a spark finally but it's a intermittent spark so now that's my next issue
Update I had the magnet upside down 😭she runs now after 4 years of sitting
Cool. I’ve Gon through different cdi’s different switches spark plugs
Is it possible that the valve lash isn’t set correctly why it won’t get spark?
Mostly timing more than valve lash... I had terrible valve lash on my Raptor 350 and it could still fire up
I believe I have one in my videos great 411 thanks

For sure. Regards @@doobyboy21
Do 6 stator come with a flywheel ?
no... but if the flywheel is not damaged, you can you use it again
Is A flywheel puller required to get the flywheel off?
yes you do... But you do not need to take it off when doing this... I just took it off for the purpose of this video
@@doobyboy21 Thank you. I figured I had to take it off to set the stator pickup. Maybe there's another way to set it without removing the flywheel?
