    Just discovered your channel, website, and content in this last week. Have to say I am fairly impressed at the straight-up, plain-spoken, and unambiguous information you are sharing. I am at a stage in life where I making a commitment to pursue trying my hand at formal long-range rifle competition, no dreams of state, regional, or national standings ATT, simply pursuing the educational/skills development path with diligence to challenge my own self for my own personal enjoyment. I've selected F-TR 308 Win as my entry point, it is what I have and what I know. For now, I'll run that till the cartridge selection becomes the limitation vs. this old-ass E6's carcass, or I get bored and delude myself that I should try PRS.
    I'm looking at your course offerings and website/network content trying to decide if I attend your class in Cody, WY. this coming May or do the first of three classes down at Whittington on May 30th.
    Thanks for putting out this superb information, your professional, non-bling, no-nonsense style, keeping it practical and useable.

    Doubling up on ear pro helped my brain concussions...I switched to ops core amps with nfmi plugs and that helped tremendously in keeping the brain running nicely

    • @MODERNDAYSNIPER
      @MODERNDAYSNIPER  3 года назад

      I'd like to do that, but plugs on top of muffs really deteriorate communication and kinda defeat the purpose of passive ear pro.

      @@MODERNDAYSNIPER check out ops core amps, the nfmi plugs have some vudoo that pass the sound into the earplugs, it's a two layer system so they sound just as good as single layer.
      They also have a 20% discount code

    Can you do a video guide on how to critique and pick a reticle? I am interested in long range shooting, but have never gotten behind a scope. So I feel like I am pretty open to different designs. Whether that be the Christmas tree or the grid style. Thanks!

      Get a MilDot or MOA dot.
      If you look up SFWA, they have the SS optic which has the option of a hollow diamond instead of a dot. You can look through the diamond to see the target

      We can surely do that, and we've got a scope buying class on the way! It'll be free, so make sure you head to Modern Day Rifleman.com to get yourself inside the community and get updates on what that class will drop. In the meantime please, please don't buy an SWFA....

      @@MODERNDAYSNIPER Thank you! I will be on the lookout for that scope buying class on your website. I'm the kind of person who enjoys diving deep into a topic and doing extensive research before making a purchase. I'm also the type of person who generally subscribes to the "buy once, cry once" motto, so I definitely won't be cheaping out on a scope. Looking forward to more of your content and I hope to attend many of your classes in-person.
