I came here for the amazing copper color, but immediately thought "oh my gosh, she'd be STUNNING with full gray." Something about your eye makeup and coloring, I got super distracted thinking about how dramatic and sophisticated that would look. That said, my gray hairs are just now starting to be visible (in one patch in the front, of course, hah), and my approach is "I'm going to ride out my strawberry (soon to be copper) hair as long as I can before I fully embrace the gray, because once I go gray, I probably won't go back."... so I get the resistance.
Some people look great with grey hair, but I never think it is their best look. Grey hair looks best with a cool undertone. This coppery blonde color looks wonderful on her because she is an autumn.

I’m late to this video. The color is pretty but I think the Wella combo you used to use gave a very true and vibrant strawberry blonde color.

OH MY GOSH I NEED THAT FLYAWAYS-TAMING STICK! Some of my new (shorter) gray hairs are unbelievably wild... I swear over half of them look normal around the root, and then make an abrupt 90-degree turn straight up about 1/4" down.
It’s a game changer 🙌🏼 I had no idea what to expect when I ordered all the Japanese and Korean products, beyond the reviews on YesStyle and I couldn’t be happier with every single product (can’t remember the last time that happened) but the root stick is especially nice!

But the roots are where the grey is so.....
I've been using your formula for strawberry blonde for a year now and it's sooo good. I am looking to go maybe a *touch* cooler to make it look more natural (my very fair skin and natural hair color are cool). Maybe I'll try this out...

I have the same thing happen to mine, the top is slightly darker and I haven’t worked out what I need to do to even this out 😕
My favourite combo on you is still the L’Oréal Red penny and light reddish blonde but I think they’re discontinued. It’s so hard to get the right red shades here in the Uk, I need to find a good level 8! Are you listening L’Oréal? 😂

Nothing is better in a box dye than L’Oréal Excellence Creme in my opinion, so hope they bring a light red out again soon 🙏🏻

How long is it supposed to last?
Hi Anna! The permanent color lasts until the next color and the Demi color lasts I think 8 weeks before fading. It's meant to refresh already colored hair, instead of color over it I believe. Like a toner :)

Hey Molly! Tried Wella after your videos, love it. Gonna research this product now. I have been thinking about blending my gray into the strawberry blonde to rid the line of demarcation and to let the gray blend in as it grows out. So your opinion on using the mixture as a lowlight/highlight kinda thing. Am I asking too much from a home mixture? Have you/anyone ever thought of doing this?
Have you been doing Molly's Wella formula? Or do you have any tweaks you do?

Your hair looks great. I was very interested in the hair products but they are very far from clean, the Shishedo products. They have sulfates, silicone and fragrance and EWG says it has other bad things. I did buy the stick bc it’s just a wipe and I didn’t investigate the ingredients. You look beautiful!
Thank you, Andrea, you are so kind! For ingredients: I generally go more by the European cosmetics requirements, as the EWG is a bit more "non-science" based when it comes to their claims. And the European cosmetics counsel determines safety more by science. I've found it to be really helpful and clear!

Hi Cynthia! I would recommend setting up the free video chat session with Color&Co and showing them this video and color results, so they can match it. It was a level 7 golden red blonde. Level 20 developer on roots, level 10 on ends. I hope this helps!! - Molly
@@girlgetglamorous hey Molly yeah I can do this I did have a session with them but she wanted me to use a rose gold toner I wanted more like a golden blonde like Sophia Tilbury or I'm trying to think of the other girl's name anyways I was very hesitant because I don't want rose gold hair
Oh, I totally get that! I just took the quiz and here were my results: "Warm Gold
Level 7 - Natural golden tones enhanced with copper notes." Maybe you can email and ask for this color combo instead!
Can you put this over a darker red color??? Will it lift ?
Hi Cassidy! I'm not a licensed colorist so I can't give advice, but in general, color won't lift other color. I'd recommend doing the free 15 minute video consult and the Color&Co stylist can figure out how to get you lighter and give more specific advice for your hair. There isn't an obligation to purchase and the stylists really know their stuff when it comes to color, so I think it would be useful!
Your grey/silver is gorgeous! I think you should let it grow out. I just let mine grow out and it does not look nearly as nice as your natural color.
My same issue. I was so excited for my grey, but it’s patchy and like dirty dishwater. I’m going back to dyeing and will try again when I’m a little older.
Why did you not just use a single color formula (versus two)? Your hair is gorgeous, but I notice a line where the two formulas meet.
Hi! The length of my hair has already been colored and so the Demi color refreshes the shade, but doesn't open the cuticle again, so hair will get healthier over time. I had always wanted to try a Demi for the ends, but it's really hard to find a strawberry blonde Demi hair dye! You can leave on for up to 20 minutes if you want a richer finish.
Would you be able to share with us the quiz you took to get your color
Hi Kristina! I did the video session with Kari, one of their colorists, instead of the quiz. She asks the same questions from the quiz, but then assesses your current color and what you want your results to be. It's free to do the video chat and you aren't obligated to purchase if you don't love the color suggestion, so I recommend trying that. We ended up with a Level 7 warm golden blonde formula with red tones. I would ask for more red tones the next time I ordered. But the color product itself was really nice and kept my hair feeling silky and healthy. I hope this helps!
