I think you guys have really undersold sol and Kelani. Calling it solid and simple is confusing to me. I think it was the furthest thing from simple. They were doing incredibly impressive and creative stuff with a speed and fluidity way beyond their experience. The counters, the sequences, the spots, the chemistry all just fantastic. They showed up and absolutely showed out
I think they mean that the story was simple, not that the moves were simple. The story was a straight-forward match between two people who want to win a title, no deeper psychology that needed to be conveyed through the match.
Not hard to do when you have a state of the art facilities, world class trainers, and can run through the match move by move. See how good they can be working someone they haven't been training with or calling it in the ring.
EASILY better than MITB. And something actually HAPPENED on this show. -The pre-show match was fun, Karmen and Arianna were a cute team. -Oba vs. Wes was really good (although they seemed a bit gassed near the end). Oba is just awesome!
Saying Kelani vs Sol was kept simple feels very inaccurate, considering how inventive and complicated a lot of the spots were.

-I know some people aren’t going to like the style. But I enjoyed Sol vs. Kelani. Sol proving once again that they should be doing MUCH more with her than they are (NXT has a few women like that).
-The Tag title match was also very good.
-Roxanne vs. Lola was probably the weakest match on the card. But it was still good as well. Lola looks tough (I’d love to see her as NA Champion). Roxy looks both vicious and desperate. But we’ve reached the point with Roxanne where it’s hard to care about her feuds because you know she ain’t losing. It’s so obvious they’re just spinning their wheels until Gulia gets here.
-The ME was awesome and that finish was hilarious. Page is going to be insufferable now.
This was my favourite show of the year.

Also, the tag match was my least anticipated match of the night & wow just wow they overdelivered exponentially

They kept talking about the percentage that Trick has of retaining. 25% to win 75% to lose blah blah. But that actually played into the finish because i cant even remember when the last time a champion lost in a 3 or 4 way match with someone else getting pinned.
That new opening stinger is cool, man. Very retro. Looks like it was fun to make.
Duke Hudson is so underrated
Chase U does great work and I don't ever hear anyone giving anything they do any praise but I don't know why

The whole main event was perfectly executed. If you actually watch weekly nxt you’d understand that Shawn spears motive is built a lot on sabotage and trying to push people over the edge, so that’s why he pulled trick out of the ring
