I lived on Greenbank Lane, Sefton, for three years and only had one bad experience while walking through Toxteth. Sefton Park was a picturesque place to chill out.
@@Phe_nom While walking through Toxteth, I was approached by a group of children who were probably in Years 6, 7, or 8 at school. There were more than ten of them. They asked me if I wanted any drugs, and I ignored them. They then picked up stones and pelted me with them until I was out of range. Thankfully, they didn't chase me. I was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Otherwise, Toxteth was fine to travel through in the day.
That’s true I’m proud to be from Liverpool but I’ve seen some of the comments saying it’s not dangerous they must be living under a rock because there is plenty of dangerous nutters about but it’s not just Liverpool like that its every big city most people are good just the small fraction that you have to watch for

Sure West Yorkshire metro has a slightly higher population. But that is 3 cities. Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield, plus all the towns. Liverpool metro has 1 city and surrounding towns
The big cities are metropolitan areas so most surrounding boroughs will identify with the city name even outside the city's official border for example knowsley borough has Liverpool post codes, if you travel away from Liverpool and you for example live in one of the towns surrounding the city area people would identify you as a Liverpudlian or scouser , it's only some people who nit pick and argue about specifics
People defining a city by the colour of their wheelie bin bugs me. Mines purple but that doesn’t mean the people half a mile away in Knowsley aren’t part of the city. I used to live just off Pilch lane. My local corner shop was in Knowsley. Literally 300 yards away

You have included quite a few areas here, stating that it's about "Liverpool", that definitely are not Liverpool. Examples are Wirral - mentioned twice, once as Wirrel (Wirral) and prior to that too. Also Knowsley is kinda Liverpool but not. Same with Sefton - not really Liverpool. St Helens is 100% DEFINITELY NOT LIVERPOOL AT ALL - NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST. It's like saying that The Lake District is actually located right inside Liverpool - it's not, obviously! No, St. Helens is nothing to do with Liverpool. Just for your future information. Liverpool does get a bad reputation, sure there are some rough areas on the estates, but the actual city centre is a great place, I have been there many times and never felt threatened. Though some of the estates, I would keep well clear of !
I noticed Southport was mentioned, that is not Liverpool although it is the part of Merseyside now never used to be & I used to live there it's never been a violent town unlike Liverpool where you get a lot of antisocial behaviour cities are always a lot worse.
How do you not know how to pronounce the Wirral properly? Also, amount of 'reported' crimes doesn't equate to committed crimes or, indeed, convictions. I could sit in the safest village in the wealthiest part of the country and report crimes all day, but that doesn't mean they were committed. That just means that it would look like it had a statistically higher crime rate. Also, the top 2 both have the highest population density, 2 major football teams in them and then downtown Liverpool. If, as your argument suggests, that alcohol is the most significant cause of crime, then those things would be significant factors. In truth though I've been to see Everton play many times and I've never witnessed any violence. Drunkenness, sure, but there was never any danger. You should probably learn how statistics work and how they can be abused (the tories do it all the time) before your next video.
The danger area's you state are missing crucial data , how many live in each of those area's , the higher the number of people the higher the numbers of crime and what are you classing as a crime, having music on loud can be a crime , shouting can be a crime, speeding can be a crime etc .... I am from liverpool and do miss it , and there is crime but it's not the horror that is being broadcast.
Just because somewhere has more reported crimes does not necessarily make it a more dangerous place. The places which are most dangerous are the areas where crime is not reported.
Was delivering beds in Toxteth once. Driver said stay with vehicle. There were all these shoes tied together by the laces, thrown over telegraph wires. I think I know what that is now. Should have felt at home, my dad was from Liverpool.

Yes, Thurstaston, that hub of criminality
Those sandstone hills where it all goes down.
Only those who know Thurstaston get how funny this comment is. Criminals hiding behind every gorse bush.

Wirral isn't Liverpool, and West Kirby and Greasby are desirable place's to live , they are both in Wirral .
Next Week: The 300 most dangerous places in London.
No way bro is saying Formby is dangerous I'm sobbing
I saw someone drop litter there once.
@@eddiedunn8061 the most dangerous thing to happen in formby
I saw a squirrel in Freshfields hold a family at gunpoint 😂
Lived in formby 47 yrs what nonsense
Number 2 - first al all “WirrEL”- heswall and brimstage? Cmon now, they are one of the most affluent areas on the WirrAL. Of course the city centre aka Hub 1 has most crime reports. Bloody hell.
I lived on Greenbank Lane, Sefton, for three years and only had one bad experience while walking through Toxteth. Sefton Park was a picturesque place to chill out.
What experience was that?
@@Phe_nom While walking through Toxteth, I was approached by a group of children who were probably in Years 6, 7, or 8 at school. There were more than ten of them. They asked me if I wanted any drugs, and I ignored them. They then picked up stones and pelted me with them until I was out of range. Thankfully, they didn't chase me. I was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Otherwise, Toxteth was fine to travel through in the day.
You slaughtered every single pronunciation and a some of those places aern't even Liverpool including the Wirral ;)
biggest crime is his miss pronunciation
we should report him
Alert on? Allerton! And it's posh there not dangerous
if you can't pronounce Wirral, you're never going to manage Serafinovicz.
🤣😂🤣
Liverpool isn't a problem it's the minds of some people nothing else
That’s true I’m proud to be from Liverpool but I’ve seen some of the comments saying it’s not dangerous they must be living under a rock because there is plenty of dangerous nutters about but it’s not just Liverpool like that its every big city most people are good just the small fraction that you have to watch for
His pronunciation of the districts was shocking . And I’m not from Liverpool . But my father was . Not a fair representation of the city in all honesty .
then why your father escape from this evil and violence city?
It’s the same everywhere the S.Wales valleys, Liverpool, Manchester all post industrial cities and regions that are now drug ravaged areas very sad .
St Helens is not Liverpool, it was put into the Liverpool City Region for some unknown reason. St Helens is a Lancashire town with a lot of Liverpudlians who moved here from the City in the 1960s-70s. I am one of them.
Liverpool was in Lancashire .
Wavertree and sefton park(aigburth) are not bad areas wavertree is home to most of Liverpools student community based on Smithdown road and surrounding streets other areas are way worse
Liverpool is by no means a small city! 4th largest in the UK coming after London, Birmingham and Glasgow
Manchester,Bristol and Leeds are all bigger.
@@pjsmith2744 Manchester is, Bristol and Leeds are NOT.
@@billybonds4449 how are you judging size? By population or land mass? The general way is by population and Leeds is far bigger than Liverpool even Southampton is about the same population. I admit I got Bristol wrong and I apologise.
@@pjsmith2744Southampton city council area has literally half the population of Liverpool’s council area. Most measure a city by it’s Metro area. Sure West Yorkshire metro has a slightly higher population. But that is 3 cities. Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield, plus all the towns. Liverpool metro has 1 city and surrounding towns
Leeds is a much bigger city than Liverpool
Birkenhead is not part of Liverpool, it’s a town in its own right and is located opposite the city being separated by the River Mersey.
St Helens does not have liverpool postcode 😂
I call them the the purple bin mafia. Ask them if Steven Gerrard (Huyton) and Jamie Carragher (Bootle) are woolybacks. Watch them justify their stupidity.
Wirral doesn't either
Half the places he mentions are not Liverpool 🤣🤣🤣
ANYWHERE NEAR AN ASYLUM SEEKER HOTEL MATE
Pronounced every area wrong
Liverpool is not diffrent from anywhere else everywhere has its issues but normal members of public r safe unless make a issue for them selfs
Haha this is comedy gold.
Thank you very much for the upload though. 😊
wirral and st helens is not liverpool you haven't got a clue feller
Liverpool isn't really a place, it's more of a chemical spillage
Oh yeh be careful walking around Sefton Park, Lark lane, St Michaels...absolutely terrifying place - threat of being stabbed on every corner!
I m Turkish.I m very love Liverpool and Liverpool peoples.Liverpool very nice very good and beautiful city.It is very similar to my city, Izmir/Türkiye It is very similar in every way.
This is the most piss poor low effort video I’ve put myself through in a long time.
It's not a small city
Lived in Wavertree, Toxteth, Sefton Park and China Town Liverpool being 190cm and 110kg guy, never ever have faced any problems...
Hoyton... is that by huyton?
haha i think st Michaels is rather pleasant, i live close to it ,born in Toxteth , wouldn't live in any other city ,i have worked in all of em over the years
Agreed it's funny that outsiders have this image of Liverpool I'm 60 yes old lived in Liverpool all my life and never had any hassle
@@garyrigby21 Same here Gary. I`m 64 and have Never had any problem, also, some of these statistics he gave for the various areas just sound like a load of BS To me.
Had the displeasure of going to Toxteth, absolute sh**hole. Felt like a spot on a domino
I find the people great funny and witty, respect to them but they are tough cookies.
The lower you get the more grasses there is
Id say probably 90% of people everywhere are grasses even dealer's grass each other up to get more customers, those who scream grasses are grasses themselves and most everyone rings the police at some point like if i had a pee doh living next to me and he did something to my child 100% im grassing
Many many more streets that are stunning.
Liverpool does get a bad reputation, sure there are some rough areas on the estates, but the actual city centre is a great place, I have been there many times and never felt threatened. Though some of the estates, I would keep well clear of !
St. Helens, christ that area is so wool it's like an episode of Last of the summer wine, but with chavs
last of the rose' wine
10 areas! you basically blackened the name of every district in the whole of Merseyside... Oh, and St Helens.
Wirral and Wirrel two completely different areas apparently 😅
Greetings from Liverpool City, New South Wales, Australia.
I noticed Southport was mentioned, that is not Liverpool although it is the part of Merseyside now never used to be & I used to live there it's never been a violent town unlike Liverpool where you get a lot of antisocial behaviour cities are always a lot worse.
That’s like the part of the Wirral I live it was never classed as Merseyside it was historically Cheshire until the early to mid 80’s I think
Southport is defo violent, not like Liverpool but it's a seedy town and has a lot of drug crime.
@@RayzaEFC I was going to mention precisely what you said.
@@coldsteearly 70’s. Wirral was Cheshire Liverpool was Lancashire. Merseyside created in April 1974.
Its bad in southport now, lots of lads from Liverpool taking over and selling heroin, its tramp city now
Some of the places mentioned(badly) are not even in Liverpool
Obvious he doesn’t know his geography needs to go back to school love Liverpool worked there for years loved every minute of it people are great
How do you not know how to pronounce the Wirral properly?
This city is a cess pit of crime and filth. Safe inner city for the shoppers yes...everywhere else is just a dump
The danger area's you state are missing crucial data , how many live in each of those area's , the higher the number of people the higher the numbers of crime and what are you classing as a crime, having music on loud can be a crime , shouting can be a crime, speeding can be a crime etc ....
I am from liverpool and do miss it , and there is crime but it's not the horror that is being broadcast.
the way he said "Huyton"
When has St Helens been Liverpool?
Just because somewhere has more reported crimes does not necessarily make it a more dangerous place. The places which are most dangerous are the areas where crime is not reported.
Was delivering beds in Toxteth once. Driver said stay with vehicle. There were all these shoes tied together by the laces, thrown over telegraph wires. I think I know what that is now. Should have felt at home, my dad was from Liverpool.
Bloody hell, can’t you read??? You pronounced approx 60% of the names wrong… where did you find “Wirral”? I have never heard of it despite being born in a similar sounding place called Wirral. You mentioned Thornton Hough having a massive crime rate… it’s a small village … where did you get the figures… you aren’t even from the area so what would you know?
In how long? Were these crime levels reported in a year? 2? 5? 10? you need to say because with out the period the numbers dont mean much.
