Thanks for having me on your podcast. I appreciate the friendship we've fostered over the past few years. Being able to chat with a fellow solo game dev has been invaluable to me personally and professionally. Here’s to the next few years of game dev, mistakes, lessons learned, and of course a healthy amount of scope creep. Cheers!

I'm another SFDC guy who turned to game development! All the best & keep going!

Great interviews Thomas! You do so much right that I feel Thomas Brush gets wrong with his. You have a completely blank slate (no checklist) to let your guest say whatever they want and as long as they like uninterrupted. You don’t self promote or spend much time discussing your own opinions, because that’s what your other content is for. Congrats on your channel growth!

I've been following you two for quite some time and I gotta say two things:
    First, thanks for motivating me
and second, I am kinda proud of seeing you two growing and growing in what you guys do. That is also quite motivating

"If you're unhappy, think about why you're unhappy and make changes to it". This really resonates with me, as I've been stressed about my job for the past five years, stuck in the same routine day in and day out without making any changes.

The timing of this episode is uncanny. I'm in a very similar position to Aarimous right now, calculating my burn rate and deciding when or if I should pivot to full-time. Similar work situations too. Definitely giving me a lot to think about

How do you get your camera synced with your mic audio? I'm tired of looking like crap on a mediocre webcam

You should have a notepad and write down your thoughts and questions as you are talking to the guests

I have a question !!! how on God's earth most of the successful indie developers are from US ?! is there a steam algorithm that Favours US developers?!

Probably not, there's a few reasons I can think of why indies are mainly in the US.

@@D.KRyley-mq1do I can guess what you're trying to say! You're probably thinking that since the US realized the potential of the gaming industry a decade or two earlier than its competitors, it makes sense for them to be ahead now. That's true for triple-A and double-A games, but not for us indie developers. We're just one person or a small team of five anywhere in the world, with roughly equal access to resources and training. From my perspective, it seems like Steam has an algorithm that favors US indie developers
