WOW! Etihad Stadium Tour - MAN CITY FOOTBALL CLUB!

- The Etihad stadium is home to Manchester City Football Club and I took their very impressive tour!
New statues of David Silva & Vincent Kompany have been added recently to the area around the stadium. On the stadium tour I got to see their Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup & Community Shield trophies!
If you're coming to Manchester I'd recommend the Etihad tour. It will set you back £27.

Thanks for watching! And haha I guess you remember the Gillingham game? My tour guide said that's the most important match in Citeh's history!
I've been Manchester City, fan since mid 1950s. Expect I've seen more sh... than you ( just saying / semi-joking )

@@FootyAdventures it definitely was, if it wasn't for us winning that day we wouldn't be where we are today, we would have been like Notts Forest.
I was born in 2001 and started supporting City in 2009, but I really wish I could've been slive so support City in the 60s and go to Maine Road every game. I love the Etihad but Maine Road was also beautiful, sadly I never went.

Thank you for showing for a city's fan who live far far away from England. Appreciate it!!

Holy cow the guide was so knowledgeable and friendly! This place is incredible!!!
The tour looks epic. Loved it.
The guy leading the tour is amazing at his job! Loved the tour and I love my club.
Not being biased but the difference and hospitality regards to cameras allowance etc between city and united tours are miles apart as you'll find out 💙
it was literally the same judging by the videos of both tours
It’s not about being nice and getting one over the other, it’s about security. United’s is spot on. They have had the odd security scare in the past (the dummy bomb left inside the toilet). It’s just a case of being careful. OT is an absolute hotspot for a terrorist - as we know it’s not the first time Manchester has experienced tragedy.
@@Mike-pd3rd I'm on about the allowance of cameras on the tour which normally the staff won't allow on the United Tour..
Outside the ground maybe so..
Comparing it to the IRA bomb in 1996 is a bit OTT..
City crap hahaha listen you go etihad look how dead it is. Go old Trafford and more packed people all over the world coming to see old Trafford. Cities always dead. Dead club
@@cr7mufc214 I suggest you learn your clubs true history from its foundation before you try and attempt to belittle your clubs neighbours cos you'll find out that if city had not intervened and bailed united out several times in both clubs early years up too 1958 then united would not if even existed today without this help..
The last time city helped united was after the air disaster in 58 which city gave united 4 first team squad players to help united complete fixtures for the end of the season and the start of the following season or face the risk of being relegated believe it or not by the FA.
Not to mention city paid united debts that had risen due to poor accounts in the 1910's and 1930's..City also provided players to united to play friendlies mid season after 58 to generate cash for the club and to pay for players that were lucky to survive the crash but sustained career ending injuries as a result of it..
City also raffled tickets at events for the whole of the 58/59 season to generate more funds a well for those players..
This is without allowing united to use Maine road for 3 seasons after the Luftwaffe bombed old Trafford in world war 2..
The reason united have a global fan base and countless day trippers is vastly down to this catastrophic tragedy..
You mention numbers of public visiting the tours or stadium etc and yet it's ironic many use this stigma about the etihad being empty but it almost sells out every game in the past decade anyway which is why the clubs extended the stadium twice since city moves in and are planning another extension soon..
Not to mention city still has the record attendance for a club in England outside of Wembley and even uniteds record attendance was also at Maine road not old Trafford lol..
It is a shit hole now and Dilapidated..
It leaks,it's got rats in abundance and papering over the cracks isn't going to fix the problem..
It doesn't even have a fan park or a screen so fans can review match incidents during the game whilst having to sit cramped in a seat almost shoulder touching the next person and knees touching the seat in front of you..
in the quadrants you can't even view the other side of the grounds stand due to
The crap cantilever roof design..
I could go on and on but in the last decade what the sheiks have done to improve everything about city it's propelled them beyond even what uniteds proud reputation seemed impossible to achieve yet it took city's new owners only 7 years..
The gulf 20 years ago was massive with both clubs annual financial Income with united flitting between 1st and 3rd in the worlds richest clubs and city bobbing between 43/65 at its lowest and yet today city have closed that gap massively rising to 5th united currently 4th whilst united have a huge debt thanks to the glazers and city zero debt with the 2020/21 huge annual losses for barca Madrid and united not yet registered till April 22..
United fans need to seriously re evaluate their moronic comments on social media about this clearly flawed stigma they have about ickle city nowadays because the way the CFG as a whole is run not just Man City it's only going to grow even bigger in the near future and the ethos between the 2 clubs as a comparison is on different stratosphere's right now and united having to spend spend spend these days just to keep the fans happy every time the fans decide to riot against their own club..
United is the comedy club these days that just keep on giving to everyone else and until they signed some decent players this summer they've been miles apart from city in terms of infrastructure, direction and the level of competitive squad capabilities..
Long reply yes but at least you've learnt something today and maybe you won't embarrass yourself in the future is something you can take from it kid..
#McfcNotBitterJustBetter..💙
City till the end 💙
I have been on the Etihad Stadium Tour and it is a fantastic Stadium, but there are a lot of Stadiums that have taken my breath away and I have found the deeper and more successful the Clubs history, the more jaw-dropping the Tour becomes. The Etihad and Spurs Stadium are astounding because it is new. Old Trafford because it is not and has "a lot" of history. The Bernabeu and Camp Nou are astounding because they are old and steeped in tradition. The Allianz Arena Bayern, is amazing because of its Club history and amazing technology, etc.. I have been lucky enough to do Tours of Football Stadiums all over the World, from the Maracana, to the awesome new Freedom Park in Miami and even got the chance to chat with the great David Beckham, who was kind enough to give us his time...once cornered lol. Through Europe, to The Japan National Stadium, which is a work of art and they ALL have their moments of magic, jaw dropping sights and new discoveries, with fascinating facts to be told. If I had to pick a Stadium that was the best, or that I enjoyed a Tour of most, I would still be here 10 years from now trying to decide. My advice to anyone that visits Football Stadiums and does the Tour's is just to enjoy :0)
30k 👏👏 Love seeing this channel grow.
Been on it before ..... fantastic tour, brilliant stadium!
Great video, loved your enthusiasm and that tunnel club shot was brilliant! Liked and subscribed, keep up the good work! 👏🔝
What an amazing tour mate 👍🏻
Woah! That tour guide was absolutely fantastic!
A few weeks ago, I went to see a match between Fulham FC and Man City. The moment I saw the stadium, I couldn't stop wowing. It was absolutely beautiful. The metal ropes to hold up the tall beams, all connecting to an astonishing stadium. Inside, as well, looked amazing. While you usually get the same result as far as inside the stadium goes unless you go to a stadium like Craven Cottage, it was still awesome. My eyes decieved me with just the sheer size of the stadium. Now, unfortunately, Fulham lost and the reports are on both sites or apps, but the beauty of the building and my lack of enthusiasm for FFC at the time MORE than make up for the defeat. I absolutely loved it and I would KILL for a proper tour. This video could be a preview if I am ever to tour this stadium, but if so, I'd be spoiled. But still, fantastic stadium.
So weird this video has just came up as I’m going to the tour of Anfield today very excited. Great video mate
Best recording and editing from all vedio of you 😍😍😍

Another great video mate. I was at the stadium around the time you would have been there, but just looking around from the outside. Amazing place. Came across your channel, got to say you do some amazing videos. I'm in Dundee and watched the ones around here, and ones from the Highland league. I've lots to watch still. I have been fairly fed up of football for a good while, but watching your videos has given me back an interest. Cheers
Thanks for the video
I remember when city first moved to that stadium I didn’t think much if it as a neutral. But they have really turned it into a great stadium 👍
The stadium tour is pretty nice but to say, Tottenham FC and the So-Fi Stadium (Rams, L.A.) have been the only two stadiums that have really blown me away. They both have been far better than what I thought they would be. Thank you kindly for since an amazing video.
This is so cool. Thank you 💙
Thankyou for showing me the beauty of Etihad Stadium! i am from Malaysia and i hope to drop by some day, sooner or later!

You gents have a beautiful stadium. Was a pleasure to visit from the states
Just come back from a weekend in Manchester and me and my partner done this tour yesterday and gosh it was absolutely amazing!! Ian and Emma are a credit to the club, being the face of the club with the public. What they don’t know about the club and city history and heritage ain’t worth knowing. Will definitely be back for a game day at city
Thanks for sharing

@@FootyAdventures Would be great. If you do check out the club superstore as you get a great view of the stadium from there at the top floor. 👍🔵⚪

Thanks for this
Something I didn’t like was that they cleared out the supporters tiles in the tunnel to make way for the clear glass hospitality section. Tunnel club I think it was called. Sums up the modern game. Can see it @7:43
