- I may have found the cheapest Kawasaki KX250 Two Stroke... Finally I found a 2006 Kx250 2 stroke for the next two stroke build series getting away from the 125cc two strokes and onto the 250s! I am not sure if I want it to be like my KX125 Build and match it or do a 2021 KX250 Build and have it identical to the new 2021 KX250 and 2021 KX450 looks...

I would do stock plastics and a retro graphics kit so you don’t have the same bike as your kx125
Just bought a clean 04 yz250 came with a rebuilt motor , full pro circuit exhaust , vforce 3 and restyle plastic kit for 2300 , everyone wants a 2 stroke now best bikes ever

Im excited for this build because im just finishing my 06 kx250 build and it would have definitely been easier for me being able to see someone else build video!
Do the same as the kx125. I think it would look pretty cool with them side by side. Can’t wait to to see it in the end.

I've got a 2005 pulled apart in the garage doing a restoration, keen to follow this build.
Do a restyle with a retro look, or retro look with just the restyled front end would lock sick imo, bike should bee sweet when its done cant wait to see it.
Hey Tyler, unless the original owners changed the seat cover for an 05 cover, that’s an 05. The 06 seat covers had green on the side. The clamps were also a brownish/magnesium color.
Definitely do the trick engineering triple tree adapter and run a newer kxf 250/450 if not the front end will constantly feel like its on ice when trying to push hard through corners. Also hard to tell in the video and I am sure you know this but it doesn't look like it doesn't have a high speed compression adjustment on the rear which could make it a 05. 05-07 kx250s are pretty much the same bike minus graphics and the 05 didn't have a high speed compression adjustment on the rear. Either way cant wait to see the upcoming videos on this!

I believe 2008 was the last year the bigger two strokes for Kawasaki were made but 2007 and 2008 they stopped importing them to the U.S. do to the increasing popularity of four strokes in racing
Idk if you do trails or anything but if you do you need to do something different like do a woods builds with a 18 inch rear wheel and different gearing different from mx gearing

Try the TXRACE plastic kit. The custom kit comes with the seat and graphics.

i would make it the same as the 125. that’s just my vote. i do prefer oem but you do a great job at balancing original and trick parts
I say OEM plastics and try to do the Chevy trucks factory Kawi graphics or the early 2000s pro circuit split fire graphics. It’s kinda cliche for those bikes but they look rad 🤘🏼

Got the Polisport lime green kit for my 06 and had trouble with fitment. Not happy with it and going back to stock plastics.
I say try to stay closer to the OEM but still put cool black and flashy parts on it. I say don't make look the same as the kx125, make every building different. It makes it more interesting in every video. keep up the good work.

I think it would be cool to do a homage to the first kx250. Everyone redoes the 90’s schemes but itd be kinda neat to do a first gen style

2008 was when kawisaki stoped making 2 stroke big bikes like 125s 250s 500s
You shold powder coat the frame and swingarm and fork clamps that would be fricken sweet. And 2021 plastics.
Make it look like a 2021, and change the 125 too so it'll match
Stock graphics are cooler on the CRF250R, just like they are on the KX125. That and the stock seat covers are cleaner. Put money in your suspension on the CRF250R not ruining it's look by changing the graphics, etc. Do what you want but that's what I would do.
You should do a retro kit on a restyle plastic set The green and purple 90’s kx graphics is nice

As much as I wanted to see you move onto the 250s I really wanted to see a yz125 because they are very underpowered in the top end
I would love to see you put some aftermarket parts on it but I think it would also be Nice if you tried restoring it without buying everything new except the frame.🛠👌
