Refresh the cylinder anyway, send it to powerseal usa and pay the 250$ of whatever they charge now, got over 100hrs out of a jug I had them redo!
I’ve sent many to them and always had good luck with them

Hey tyler, I've been watching your videos since you had your Nissan truck, I love watching the 2 stroke content, you should make the 250 look exactly like the 125😁, keep it up and I can't wait to see what you have planned for the future 😁
Same thing happened to my cr250. Shattered a skirt and the peices got wedged in between the crank and bottom of the case and locked it up. Washed her out with diesel and oil and threw a piston in it and it runs great
you should have the 250 look the same as the 125, it would look awesome having them right next to each other. Keep up with 2-stroke content. Love the vids, keep up the good work. Like if you agree.

@@braydenser9544 Well if he's not going to be using the carb then why didn't he just smash it off the motor with a hammer then. Would have made the same amount of sense. He also cut the clutch cable which he will need to replace if he is still going to be using this motor and I'm pretty sure he is.

I like the idea of taking a more modern kxf 250 frame and putting the kx250 motor in it. That way u have a more variety of plastic options

Why do you have such a big air compressor? What high CFM application you use it for?
Minute 2:49. he carb has a "Power Jet" aka Cut off Valve... It functions off and on as the RPM rises. The needle on the assembly moves, there is a jet that is exposed and lets in more gas. The two wires that go to the assembly send a signal so the needle goes up and down, exposing or covering the jet. It was only used for a couple of years. Like on my 1998 KX125. If you have carb problems, it the engine "runs funny", you must check this assembly. The carb wont work correctly and the bike wont run properly, Some people believe you can get around this jet but I say don't do it. the needle should move back and forth when you put 12 volts to the two wires. As for pistons, avoid "Hot Rod" pistons like plague.

this happens to a lot of people because they make too big of a gap on a spark plug and it melts the pistion sometimes im not saying thats the case here but its probably gonna be a whole engine rebuild becuse of little pieces of metal faing into the bottom of the engine and geting into the bearings. But ist gonna be a great build i hope you make it 2021 with the original frame becuse the 2019 looks sick and it whould be nice to have a 2019 kx125 and a 2021 kx250⚡️🔥

My piston was dirty when I took my out and I also took the motor ok it WAS completely busted so I rebuilt it and got a new bike

I wanna see it look like your 125 and do a bills pipe or pro circuit
Don’t just assume the cylinder is good just because you don’t see any scratches. You need to mic the bore to make sure the cylinder isn’t out of round.
Use the original frame like you did with the 125 that shit turned out cleaaaaan
