This, to me, is the best Han Solo headsculpt - that smirk captures his character. Agree on Hot Toys offering the backdrop by itself. I didn't even take mine out of the box, as just having it behind one figure I didn't think would look good. 👍👍👍👍
Oh really you still have the backdrop in the box? They fetch quite a bit of cash on secondary if you ever fancied splitting! But I know you're probs same as me and would never split the set! Cheers for watching my friend! 👊🏻

GREAT figure! I'll admit, it's already high on the list, being an Imperial Stormtrooper look but it still a nice touch in any Star Wars collection. It really looks great with Leia and disguise Luke all posing together too!

The newer Death Star wall panels are better-made than the older ones. A brighter, purer white light and a switch that is sturdier and easier to use. I think it’s a win overall.

Han Solo twin brother Ron solo. Also I was minding my own business when I left a message on boston collections. When someone said to me that having Grand Moff Tarkin Hot toy was a poor flex. I messaged back saying why but no response back.

I wish I had picked Han and Luke in disguise. I do have the trooper belts because I got the Han and Chewie two pack, but displaying them in full armour would look great in my display.
They are great figures! But that Han and Chewie 2-pack is WOW as well!! Never managed to track that set down so picked them up as separates but I liked the look of the set with the extras! Thanks for checking out the vid 👊🏻
One of my favourites too , although I swapped the head with the smuggler Han, I think both heads look better that way. The only thing I didn't like about this set was the lazy pack ins reused from the Luke set, he really should have come with a DLT-19. Great video as always !
Great idea regarding the head swap! And also a good point about the accessories, a DLT-19 would have been great! A surprise thinking about it as Hot Toys usually don't mind giving us multiple weapons! Thanks for checking out the video 👊🏻

It's so strange, I didn't like the head sulpt until you put the backdrop in and suddenly i liked it 🤷♂ You're right though, why don't they just sell the back drops? I mean do they not like making money! 🤣Still loving those tie fighters at the end!
That's interesting! Maybe just seeing him against the backdrop triggered some contextual memory from the film and it just clicked into place? Re: backdrops, not sure why they don't sell them, maybe it just wouldn't be worth the time manufacturing them for what they would end up making on them? Thanks again for spotting the TIEs! 😁👊🏻

What an absolutely wonderful figure. My one and only gripe is the side eyes look, kinda forces it for only a few specific poses. think even to this day i'm more than satisfied with my ANH han, though i do wish those back panel things you can hook together were more standard!
Yes you're right the side eye look does definitely limit the posing options tbh! And I know what you mean about ANH Han, it's a great figure. Some days I look at that one and I prefer it, other days the stormtrooper disguise version. But they're both awesome. Will you be picking up the ROTJ version?

Did the back drop also come with the Luke stormie??
No, unfortunately! Luke was an earlier figure and had the red detention cell style base like the one that came with ANH Vader and the stormtrooper 2 pack. Han was the first figure to get this backdrop and then also came packaged with the ROTJ Stormtrooper deluxe set 👍🏻 Thanks for checking out the video 👊🏻

I'm not a fan of this Han -- the smirk kills it for me. And they can never get Mark Hamill right, because that Luke is terrible. Great armor and paint, but the headsculpts are a miss in my book. The Leia is perfect though... and makes me miss Carrie Fisher a lot.

This is a must for any Star wars collection. I really like it and the Luke one. This is the first time I've seen it up close and it looks AMAZING!!!
Everytime you show one of these figures from your collection I think of you going up in the loft and taking all that rapping off to show the Box lol.
I've still got the special Kellogg's ( hasbo) figures of Han & Luke with this look.
Anyway this figure with the Backdrop are really cool.

Haha fortunately I've kept the ANH figure boxes just in wardrobes and closets so they are relatively easy to access. But yeah boxes for later figures... I didn't really think that through tbh 😅
