Taking buses is the way to go! You dont have to walk too far compared to subway but the downside is most announcements are in Korean.
Clearly you’ve never taken a bus in rush hour in Seoul.

I just came back from Seoul last night..I loved it ❤❤❤
South Korea is very safe and has one the best transportation in the world. Even the taxi isn't that pricey compared to other travel known countries.
MY FAMILY LIVES ON JEJU I PROMISE U ITS AMAZING
Going to Korea this September, I know it’s going to be warm
It's getting cooler now, fall and spring is the best time. Never come during summer. I hate it
Still warm now. Still 30something degrees in the middle of the day.
@@tae-whankim9821and winter? I'm going there in december. I hope i dont freeze to de*th hahah
@@choutzuyu8915 Oof...It's gonna be cold. Busan and Daegu area maybe better nonetheless stay warm!
(it can get as low as -36 degree)

Yesssss. I went during the flower destivals in April when the flowers were blooming, and I agree with all this
I want to go next year for two reasons BTS and there comeback even though I could never go to a concert and makeup 😅💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Wow 👏 I will go next year.
Planning a trip to go next year!!
This is very useful 😃
Thank you for yr travel tips✔️
Don't go to 명동 station.
There is nothing to see.
And food is much more expensive than average prices.
Go to 홍대 station.
The Namsan tower is good but you have to wait for a long time at least 2hours to take a cable car so if u don't wanna wait for a longtime i recommend naksan park.
naksan park has very gorgeous night views as much as Two Namsan towers
Thank you very much!!!

we wanna a vlog or live in korea please i wanna see the streets and all this
In myeongdong it’s really expensive, I don’t recommend and it’s not Korea’s representative food street. People that live in seoul don’t even go to myeongdong to go eat street food
Hey Fiona! Sorry, this is gonna be kinda long. In Fall of 2022 to Spring 2023 (so two semesters) I’m gonna be studying abroad in Korea (potentially through Yonsei (CIEE program) Could you do a vid on how you went to Japan, Taiwan, China, etc? I’m thinking I’ll be there for 2 semesters which gives me plenty of time to see Shanghai, Bangkok, Taipei, and Tokyo. I guess I’m really just asking how you went about taking these trips… Weekends? Breaks? Did you go with other students? Club scenes? Also, how would you go about networking while abroad?
yeah i’m wondering this too!
hii! I took the trips by myself actually and I took them during breaks or the weekends, plan ahead for these! The club scene was great and really fun. It's a bit difficult to network when abroad and make new friends but Korea University made it super easy with buddy groups and creating activities for us to meet each other. If you're worried about making friends, I would definitely recommend staying in the dorms.
If you have a guide or someone you know that can show you around, there are just too many places to go and hang out and just have a great time and there's no shortage of great food. I'll be going back for a third time in about a year and a half. I highly recommend Jeju as well.
Fabulous! Love.Love.Love.
Korea is the greatest country in the world I never felt so respected for being white.

No.11 go to BTS Concert💜✨
I went to Korea recently and did all this. It is amazing. My Korean friend said “if you get in a car, you’re stupid” she was right. Subway goes everywhere. I even saw kpop idols in the lotte mall doing a fan meeting. It was so cool.
When you go to namsan tower DONT RIDE THE CABLE CAR. Its very fun sure but its also very crowde. Walking provides with great views!
POV: your a Norwegian and someone says have you seen the waterfall in Korea? That’s a small waterfall in Norway they are like 20 m

Another tip from a korean:
Dont go to jeju island, unless you want to get ripped off every time you spend money and have the most boring trip of your life
Really??
😂
I lived and traveled throughout Korea for 17 years. I speak fluent Korean and consider it to be my second home. With that said, here is my advice about this short. First, do not go to Jeju. So disappointing. After hearing about it from Koreans for years - “it is the Hawaii of Korea!”, I went. It is very underwhelming. Food is great and people are super friendly, but there is almost nothing to do and it really isn’t that beautiful. If you want a surprisingly beautiful place, where no one outside of their own country knows about, try Sanya on Hainan island in China. Second, don’t waste your time in Myeongdong. It is a tourist trap. Everything there is WAY overpriced, including street food, which is lower quality than other places in Seoul to get street food. Everything else is true but you could have discovered with a 5 second google search.

Tipping isn’t necessary anywhere but the USA lol
omg i wondered why i couldn’t look at routes or directions from place to place in SK on google maps 😭 just googled it and it’s for natl. security purposes… the more u know!!
Thanks for the tips. I'll be in south korea this fall Oct/Nov. Should I plan for 2 or 3 weeks.
from what i know you’ll be quarantining for two weeks (10 days) depending on how the pandemic is looking by then. but as of now 10 days is mandatory when you get there.
@@mme16 Aw man. That sucks.
@@Charlay_Charlay how did it go??
Not me just scrolling to her last video and commenting on it.😂
i have a question. i want to go study in korea, mostly do my masters in korea. i want to ask if i study korean language if i have to will i be allowed to do my studies or finish my studies there. Then after that would i be allowed to work in korea? live as well. oh oh oh and also another question when you go to korea lets say to go learn the langauge will you be living in dorms with people studying the same and did you learn the langauge because i would fear if someone asked me someething and i cant reply. and finally what did you to when or if your visa expired cause that must have been hectic. sorry for just throwing in all my questions im a bit confuse and dont know where to look for information or how to apply. but your videos are helping so much
There's a scholarship called kgsp, you can study bachelors, masters and phd with it and its fully funded you won't anything except residence and it doesn't require language, your fist year will be for language learning and the rest depends on what ur studying
“Tipping is not necessary” Tipping is forbidden unless your intention is to insult them, you know nothing
@Kimtaekwondo101 everything, i live here born and raised 🤦🏻♂️
@Kimtaekwondo101 absolutely zero koreans tip in kore and thats a fact! Its the ultimate insult to any korean to receive one so your just flat out lying, end of story
But the meerkats cafes are so cruel I’ve been to two and the meerkats looked like they wanted to die

Meanwhile girls in the back: SELLEONDA ME LIKEY ME LIKEY LIKEY LIKEY
Im literally going to Korea because of Twice hshahah
Watching out for the secret cameras
You had me at meercat cafes
1. i gotta say Namsan tower is very disappointing, not much to see tbh, just a typical higher up tower you can get on, if it's your first time in SK then you can check it out but it's very meh
4. Naver map is very frustrating to use if you're non-korean since 90% of it is in Korean, and their only difference is they also show driving routes, which is unecesary if you're a traveler, and walking routes, which you can totally figure out on your own if you look at google map. Otherwise, if you only use public transport and walking, Google map work just fine
8. I'd recommend just get around by bus cus the metro system go so deep down and it's exhausting to walk back up to the ground, i'd rather just walk normally to that location than climb that far up
I’ve been wanting to go so bad
Please I ask everyone this question. Please answer my question: If you are a doctor in the UK, if you go to Korea, will you still be a doctor?
Yes. South Koreans prefer UK doctors.
Imagine having to tip “ehem, American’s” 😂❤. I was so wirded out when I went from Australia to the U.S. (btw I’m 13)
In America, Our café's are woman themed
Tysm
Maldives is also fun 😢😢😢
Don't go to the animal cafes with wild animals like meercats. They dont treat them right.
Actually google map works so well in Korea so I use google rather then kakao or naver.
Many Korean businesses aren’t even listed on Google maps
Number 0 if you can make it safe there 😊
❤❤❤
Am I the only one who was tryna listen to the bg (dynamite BTS)
To get know Korea I recommend Temple Stay outside big cities. You will experience real Korea. Don´t miss it.
Most of Korean does not shop at Myeongdong. Shop somewhere else.
Who is here in 2024😢
👇🏼
Please dont waste your money on street food in Myeongdong. The district is notorious for its terrible street food among locals.
Myeongdong is a tourist trap fyi
No 11 go to Korea!!
I'd love to go to South Korea, but covid needs to do one first...
❤❤❤one day
When im old enough to go, i am *going* nun yall can stop mr.
Where are the themed cafes?
should i go to the DMZ??
Check for hidden cameras :D
How do i do that?
Be careful of rip-off charges in Myeongdong
Ok but is it was crazy as North Korea
Uh why would anyone ever recommended Myeongdong? If you want cheap and plentiful makeup and skin products, you go to literally any underground shijang.
If you want good street food, go to literally any other street in Korea.
Everyone knows myeongdong is a tourist trap. I’ve seen some bad Korean touring advice but recommending myeongdong puts you at the bottom for sure.
