In traditional Turkish archery the cock feather mostly was facing down, in Japanese archery it is facing up.

    Mr Allan ,
I am a right handed archer that uses a thumb ring.I am pretty accurate but when I perform my Khatra it seems I do get arrow slap. Plus when I loosen the arrow the nock end of arrow is angled away to the right. Can you please dear Sir supply to me a remedy for my cursed problem.Small world is your bow from Alibow the Tartar version in fibreglass got the same one.

My recommendation would be to check the spine on your arrows. This bow has a more narrow arrow pass so you will likely need something in the 400 to 500 range.
While khatra will help somewhat, better spined arrows makes adjustments much easier. I tend to find with this one that 400 w/ feathers works best.
I'm not sure what style of khatra you are using but you may want to try more of an opening khatra rather than more of a forward style.
      Hope this helps some 👍
