That drum is sold out. Bummer. Anything similar? I've never played an instrument but I'm interested in trying. I want a hand pan but I don't want to pay that much if I'm not sure what I'm doing.
It's sold out in that link, but you can still find the exact same one from other brands, like Moozika or BeatRise. Just type "Moozika tongue drum D Minor", "Hluru tongue drum D minor" or "Beatrise tongue drum D minor" and you should easily find it.
I love this drum too! I also love that it produces sound qualities from both tongue drum and hand pan. That is exactly why I bought it. Hluru is a brand that I trust. I'm waiting for my latest drum - 13" 15 note enroute from Shanghi via ocean vessel. Running out of room now, so it should be my last. First drum was Rav Vast G Pygmy followed by Kosmosky Tritone in A Minor. I am simply enchanted by these instruments. 🎶
I have it too, bought it after watching your review on it, found it for dirt cheap like a third the price off compared to what everyone else was asking for it so assumed its a knock off but it came in legit so was on top of the world! Mine still sounds great too! So soothing!
Hello Molly. Thank you for your beautiful videos. How does the Hluru compares to the Guda Freezbee? Neglect the price. I like meditation sounds. The Guda Freezbee doesn‘t have the double tongue design.
Do you use a special microphone to record your tongue drum? I bought a tongue drum and can play songs now - but when I tried to record myself playing, the audio comes out extremely distorted on all my different microphones, even though they work fine for recording other instruments like my guitar.
That's so strange! No, actually I use the microphone on my phone; I've tried a few others and found the sound quality increase to be negligible. I wish I could be more help but mics etc are not my area of expertise :(
I received mine this week after seeing your review and I have to say, I absolutely love this drum! Its has this handpan/tongue drum almost wooden sound to it... I know that description may sound odd but thats the best I could come up with 😂
Here is the version i bought. Almost the same and available. Mine was 169€, now its up to 189€. But under 200€ is worth, in my opinion. My new NovaDrum from kiev is on the way. He still sell them during the war
You'll have to check which note is which letter (you should find a picture with the notes in the manual or online) and then, if you want to play tongue drum or kalimba songs, the numbers would be : D3 = .1 (Ding) A3= .5 bB3 = .6 C4 = .7 D4 = 1 E4 = 2 F4 = 3 G4 = 4 A4 = 5 However, handpans use a different notation for the numbers, so be aware of that if you check D kurd handpan tutorials for songs. If you do that, follow the letters to avoid confusion.
What are your thoughts between this drum and the double tongue that doesnt have the knob in the center but another tongue. In having trouble deciding between the two. I also was curious of the drums you can use magnets to change the tuning. Do you jave a recommendation for that category as well? I greatly appreciate the help♡
HI - JUST UNBOXED MY 2ND HLURU DRUM. IT'S ACTUALLY THE "BEATWISE" BRAND WHICH IS THE SAME THING. I ENJOYED SEVERAL OF YOUR VIDEOS AND FOUND THEM INFORMATIVE PLUS FUN. I PLAY THE Native American FLUTE SO CAN'T WAIT TO USE IT FOR BACKGROUND MUSIC. ONE QUESTION THO - IS THE RUBBER PLUG SUPPOSED TO BE REMOVED WHILE PLAYING? THANKS A LOT MOLLY!
I have this tongue drum, can you give me the numbers of the notes I must put on the tongue drum please, thank you. I am from holland. Greetings and a nice Christmas day. Simone
Great video! I've been considering getting a hluru and this is good info to have since I'm sometimes a bit rough with my homemade drum ^^; Definitely getting one of these when I can :D
So lovely! Thank you for sgaring!

That is so cool!

@@MusicalMollyKhan Thanks anyways! I was going to upgrade anyway so I'll make sure whichever one I get can work with it.

Hello. Could I ask you for help with the order in which the numbered stickers should be placed on this tongue drum? 🙏🙂
You'll have to check which note is which letter (you should find a picture with the notes in the manual or online) and then, if you want to play tongue drum or kalimba songs, the numbers would be :
D3 = .1 (Ding)
A3= .5
bB3 = .6
C4 = .7
D4 = 1
E4 = 2
F4 = 3
G4 = 4
A4 = 5
However, handpans use a different notation for the numbers, so be aware of that if you check D kurd handpan tutorials for songs. If you do that, follow the letters to avoid confusion.
Got this drum as a gift. I have hard time figuring out how to put the number stickers? Can you help? Newbie in question :)
Me too

Have you ever played a RAV Vast drum? Curious on your thoughts about them.
