The sounds it makes when being stabbed are so much better in this than in the ps4 remake. I really wish they kept the originals sad whistles.
Also, they made it roar in it's intro in the remake. I guess they wanted to make it more intimidating. It makes it less unique though. I prefer the original.
You know, I feel like some of the colossi looked quite a bit different when they were first created. If you look at the belly of this Colossus, it looks like it's ribs are sticking out, almost as if it's emaciated and withered away. And the third Colossus, I think his name was Gaius, he looks as if he's used to have a hand on his other arm, the one that doesn't wield the sword. I kind of want to see what they would look like when they were just made.
Pelagia seems to have had the entire top half of it’s head torn off, you hit the exposed teeth on his exposed lower jaw to steer him.
3:38-4:00 is just..wow, everything lines up perfectly; the music, the stab, both epic and tragic, it perfectly encapsulates this game
this 6 minute long video pissed me off bc it took me an hour bc i fell off 5 times
I just love the battle music for this colossus and the colossus itself. Both are majestic to see/hear all in one.
They took out the deer sound shriek when you stab it in the PS4 Remake, kind of disappointing, thought it made this colossus unique.

On a replay, this colossus took me all of 3-4 minutes. Grabbed onto his dreads and climbed up. I think I was lucky to do it that way!
(The third colossus always takes me ages.. twenty minutes. Probably my least favourite)

Well yeah. They are these massive and peaceful creatures, and your entire goal is to kill them all without mercy.

Unlike 'most people', i find this Colossi very, very good! It caused me fear, it's legs are quite unsettling because of it's shape. Especially if considering that i am afraid of insects, for some reason it reminds me of something, like a spider.
I played it in the PS2 version upscaled to 480p, and what a unique experience! Took me a while to get into the Colossi's back, and then whe i hit it...the sound man...i felt bad for him.
Not to mention the soundtrack, this game is just 👌
dude he never looks down into the cave for me, and if he does i cant run fast enough to catch him
I know I'm 2 years too late, but for anyone else having this issue, get him to walk up one of the hills and then you drop down and run into the cave. You want him on one of the hills with his back to you. Just wait behind a wall and he'll eventually drop his backside down. I had the same problem because I kept luring him facing the cave instead of him being on top of it.

TurkeyBurglar Jones scientifically, if an animal doesn't have genitals, it is neither gender. Because the colossi were BUILT by humans in SotC, they wouldn't have genitals since they didn't make any more of each one to reproduce with, resulting in the colossi being called "its".

I can't stab when I'm holding onto its neck. Character just sits there when I press O even when the Colossus isn't shaking. Any tips?

David bautista hydrus is too. It just wants to sleep, then you disturb it and hydrus freaks out. It doesn't want to hurt you, but you kill it anyways.

U know I been a gamer my whole life I'm playing it because I got stuck had to look up a walkthrough and well I'm just kinda like uhhhh okayy so far u stab each boss like 8 times on 2 diff parts and it's dead I don't get the big deal about this game I don't get it am I suppose to jizz my pants when there's a cool angle of a giant non threatening ai what am I missing the music is good reminds me of final fantasy also they do a music score to match ur swings the game feels big when it's rly not the horse is a clunky mess controls kinda suck had to change then I can't map my buttons I just don't fucking get it what am I missing I played over 1000s of games I have about 600 on steam 500 on Xbox x and 25 ok PS4 so I been around the block so some one please explain what I'm missing why is every one pooping there pants over it I mean I'm having fun but like I'm playing on normal haven't got hit once I just hope it gets harder
I mean it did come out originally for PS2 so it is gonna have some problems. But to each their own I guess
I just think you enjoy different things about games which is fair enough. This game is acclaimed because of its atmosphere and story, a lot of people think that alone is enough to make a game great as opposed to difficulty. You seem to reduce games down to how hard they are or whether the AI is good, but that's just one way to appreciate a game.

I too struggle to appreciate those aspects in a game. I'm trying my best with this game, and so far I would say it's great. Learning to appreciate the huge giants, the rush when you hold on for dear life while it's trying to shake you off, that's what's good about this game to me
