Bathurst Brick Pit Wetlands

The Bathurst Brick Pit Wetlands is a fantastic area for all the community to enjoy for free. The old brick pit site has been converted into a wildlife sanctuary with over 100 species of birds seen enjoying the lake and wetlands area. This is an example of converting a disused industrial site into a ecological wonderland - much better for the environment.
