So many hours spent listening to these pristine sounds, eclipsing all else ; I just lap up everything that Miss Aoife serves up. Thank you just once more.
I'm constantly astounded by the number of young people who cover songs written by Blaze Foley. It is a measure of the man's genius and enduring legacy. A tortured soul and perhaps, a flawed genius, but a genius, nonetheless. RIP Blaze. Gerry Farry.
A very lovely cover of the Blaze Foley masterpiece. He was a tortured soul but he wrote with a ferocity like few others. I only met him a few times and knew him very casually but he left quite an impression on me and anyone he met. He'd give a stranger the shirt off his back. I'm so glad to see that he's well loved worldwide even on The Emerald Isle.
Just can't emote how deeply this song touches me. This is a really nice version, soft and romantic (better then JP IMO). But Blaze sings it the best, you can feel that he lived it. RIP Blaze, thank you!
@@twobeards6714 it's no different than a parrot with open eyes. Ask why she would find that lady with 2-3 kids and set down by her side. Play some Patsy Cline or Black Sabbath. Blaze,Towns Van Zant need and deserve to be respected... If not it's just cute

There's a BLAZE movie. That's the only reason they know.
RIP John and Blaze... I hope that I am allowed in heaven so that I can hear you both sing this together.

What an excellent job 👌👍
It's actually a Blaze Foley cover. John Prine as well as the Avett Brothers covered Clay Pigeons. But Blaze Wrote it and Blaze lived it. RIP Blaze.
Miss you everyday...

You don't have to be seventy to have a glimpse of life. You just need open eyes.

@@jimmywest4757 So I suppose John Prine never should have written and sang Angel From Montgomery in his mid 20's going by your logic.
