    Great information. I think it’s a beautiful car that I would entertain buying if I wasn’t die hard Lexus fan. I don’t think it’s proven yet like Lexus but a key point in your presentation that most people look over is DEALER EXPERIENCE. I have friends with bmw,Mercedes, rover etc and the problem with them all is dealer experience. There is absolutely no better dealer experience than Lexus. People disregard how important it is to be treated fairly when you spend big money on car. I look forward to maintenance because it’s always an “experience”

    • @MeynMotorGroup
      @MeynMotorGroup  3 месяца назад +2

      Yes my friend a quality dealer experience is imperative and you are right sir, nobody thinks about the after sales experience.

    • @turnne
      @turnne 3 месяца назад +1

      I am going to disagree with the dealer experience on the Mercedes and BMW...In my personal ownership it was top notch...and the vehicles themselves have more " character" in my opinion
      I own a Genesis now and the dealership experience is NOT top notch
      So much so that I refuse to walk into one of the dealers in town for ANY reason going forward

    • @dougjones2160

      @@turnne gotcha. Yeah I will say that I didn’t get many complaints with those dealership’s as say Audi and Rover so I appreciate your feedback. Besides my experience with Lexus which has been consistent for over 10 years and based in fact, when it came to other cars it was mostly from others opinions.

      Noted. When you state bmw and Benz have more character I think that’s subjective. If you want tons of technology and bells and whistles most cars beat Lexus in this area. I don’t personally, just pure reg luxury for me. Less is more. I will say the genesis does have strong character but I’m clueless on the cockpit. Very beautiful car aesthetically

    People still ramble its not a BMW, its not a BMW, its not suppose to be , its a new breed of lux , remember when BMW, Lexus, Mercedes all came out they had issues, and growing pains but like them in time it will be worked out, BMW, engine got a little better but there ELECTICAL ISSUES HAVE GOTTEN WORSE over the years.... check back when BMW, offer 100k warranty(included) for a little piece of mind, when it goes in for repairs u wanna eat beans and weenies to cover the cost???? just to say look at me i got a BMW...

    • @5hunnidCG
      @5hunnidCG 3 месяца назад

      People don’t buy it because it’s ah stolen identity of multiple vehicles. If they had came with their own concept they probably would beat the German manufacturer’s but instead they go hire euro designers hoping for ah miracle. Genesis already discounting the G70 because of sales and outdated concepts🤷🏾‍♂️.

    Overall this appears to be a strong product and fills a place in the market that the GS would’ve occupied. The biggest issue is the lack of a dealer network and poor resale value. These make more sense to lease or buy preowned. Lexus continues to dominate on the service experience plus Genesis has a ways to go on catching in terms of annual sakes. 2023 shows 68k for Genesis versus 320k for Lexus.

      Lexus has come way down from their glory days of Japanese trained artisans and pride, there are good documentaries on this. And other channels have addressed it. It’s just another mass produced American made vehicle like my new Toyota Camry, paint issues and things I never have issues with on my Japanese made and assembled Mazdas.

      @thomassmith6027 I guess that's kind of the point, though, for the same money you go up a class. They really do get crushed on resale value, however. It's probably better to lease this car or buy pre-owned after the steep depreciation curve starts to level off.
