Is Hidden Hills the "Flavor of the Week"? Over the last couple years, we've watched as nearby wealthy enclaves have shriveled up to nothing. Remember Lake Sherwood, Hidden Valley or Country Club Estates in Westlake Village? All three had celebrity inhabitants and great Custom Homes and now no one buys houses there. Even the Oaks in Calabasas has lost popularity greatly since the Hidden Hills "boom" has exploded. Me personally... I don't want to give a Flipper/Contractor $2M profit for buying a "tear-down" in HH and building a home for $6M and charging me $12M.
Hidden hills is calabassas. It’s just a neighborhood in their. And this has been going on for about the last 2 decades in basically all of Los Angeles county and those places

There is always a problem with these uber pricey homes. When they are too big they tend to look more like an office rather than comfy home. The entrance is grand, but it looks like the entrance to an office building and that office looks like it can double as check-in to a boutique hotel. ijs

Gorgeous but this is literally gentrification on the extreme luxury end. In Hidden Hills lately, charming ranches that look like shacks compared to this monster smushed on this unfit, poorly chosen narrow hillside property sell for at least $2-3 million and are eaten up, demolished and replaced for the richest of the rich kind of client to buy it. As all the monthly taxes and other various associated fees perpetually rise, normal people who have lived here for many years in the past are eventually displaced! But for what they’re getting on the house vs what they paid for it, that will probably be enough to find somewhere good enough to live so that’s the difference in this form of gentrification😭 wish I could be working in real estate in this area tho during this time😍 when do we think the bubble will pop tho🤔
