i had a pumpkin soft serve icecream while walking around in kyoto once and it was delicious, but strangely enough i was never able to find anybody else in japan selling pumpkin icecream after that ? i thought i was something that must be quite popular there but apparently it wasnt ? i didnt have any trouble finding many other pumpkin themed deserts and cakes though , especially during october which seems to have something to do with halloween ?

wow, going up and down mount kongo is very long! i read that the trail is 11km, so up and down is 22 km!
