Algorithm be praised! I've watched this video and got hooked instantly. I know life can be difficult at times although you'll always have the power to make yourself happy. Do the job at hand but at the same time, take care and look after yourself.
Thanks for the tour and I'll sure catch your next one!

RUclips just recommended this video, and I'm glad it did. Thanks for exploring Kyoto, and showing us alleys, and very quiet nature, and shrines. As cool_yeti said, your English is very good (pronounciation especially), and it was really kind of you to stop and talk for five minutes, in English! I'm sure you made that man's day brighter. いつも幸せな道を!

I struggled with what to with my life...I found I like to help and meet people, customer service became my skill. I have used that skill in a couple different fields, mostly heating services in people's homes. You seem very thoughtful and intelligent, I think you will succeed in whatever you pursue.

Your conversation in English was very good. The guy understood what you meant super well! Speaking more fluently just takes practice, you cannot study and improve that sort of thing. It will come naturally, don't pressure or put yourself down! :)

Thank you for sharing these videos! I just discovered your channel today and really appreciate how you show us life in Japan. What may seem plain and ordinary to you is special and interesting to those us who have been to Japan or who want to go to Japan.
Your English is very good and doesn’t need any subtitles, but so that we can learn some Japanese, maybe if it isn’t too much work, maybe some subtitles in Japanese when you are speaking in English as well as speaking sometimes in Japanese with subtitles in English?
It seems your English is good enough to work for many American companies. I think you only need to have more confidence in your English. Maybe speaking with more tourists in Japan, like you did in this video with the gentleman from Mexico, would help your confidence? Are there jobs related to health care where you can use your English skills to help patients who don’t speak Japanese?
We will appreciate whatever you want to show us of Japan at whatever schedule is comfortable for you.
    Take care

And thank you for your kind comments.
I'm so grateful that you enjoyed it! Your words really lift my spirits.
Yes, I'm thinking about adding Japanese and English subtitles. I'll start with the next video and gradually improve!
If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
And as you mentioned, I do need to speak more English. I'll work on it, especially considering future opportunities that involve using English.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. Take care to!

It is so true that you mention what you realized your life style was getting you into. Many think working and money is everything, and those are important, but a the same time, no amount of money will get you back your youth or improve your health as you do by simply being on nature and eating good foods.
I am 34 years old and I have changed my life style not long ago, and because of that I improved my health better than ever, even when I was much younger.
I have simply never looked this better, never felt this good.
I know many people my age will start experiment health issues as they age, I was actually heading there, but things have improved and that is not the case anymore. I do train daily very often, 30 or more minutes, and that was the best I could do.
In a way I wish I had realized that earlier in life but I am doing great still.
I got plenty of advice, that might be a little too much, since not many people are into training as I do, but perhaps I can share that with you eventually. I will keep watching future videos, keep it up.

the first time i visited Fushimi Inari i had no idea that it was such a popular destination ? i was staying in gion and i rode a bike there not knowing what to expect, it was a weekend day so it ended up being pretty crowded there but it was still pretty good walking to the peak and spending time in an old graveyard there. i was also lucky enough to see a traditional music performance at the temple there. hopefully i get the chance to visit again someday ;)

Hello, me again, just going through all your videos lol, I agree with you, when I visited Japan I enjoyed Osaka and Kansai a lot more than Tokyo and Kanto. If I ever lived in Japan it would definitely be in Osaka or the Kansai region. Don’t be to hard on yourself, take some time to find yourself and what makes you happy before you commit to anything long term, nature definitely helps, I started backpack camping as a hobby in university to get away from society and clear my mind/ hear myself think as a form of therapy, it taught me to slow down and enjoy the beauty in life.

    Hi, how do you do?
I am enjoying your videos, they are very sincere, kind and relaxed and you show a part of life in Japan that is not usually shown.
I hope you enjoy making your videos as much as I enjoy watching them.
I hope you find your answers regarding how you want to live and how to go further with your career.
Regarding tips about English, I guess it is the same as with any other language: study and practice, practice, practice.
I would say try to find some other Mexican guy, or any other kind foreigner that would like to talk, practice makes the master.
Perhaps there are also language groups where foreigners that want to practice Japanese and native Japanese speakers that want to practice English meet together to drink some coffee and practice the language. That kind of thing at least exists here in my land.
I know there are also apps and websites following this concept (language tandem) where people that want to practice some language meet together for free, but I have no experience with them.
Anyway, I hope you have a great life!
