Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
- Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

Okay, GameFreak went to the next level of the “jerk rival” for Klara and Avery. To the point where they try to convince Honey that you aren’t joining the dojo and straight up cheating in battle.

Fun Fact: In the german version the second option of that dialogue was translated to "Yeah sure, if you need them so badly". So it makes sense for Klara and Avery to get mad at you and fight you anyway.

Original Commenter is onto how Game Freak is hinting at brightly colored beasties = yucky tasting beasties.
Remember, Pokémon was made because the creator of it LOVED bug collecting, and most likely knew brightly colored animals are the Karens of nature.
I don't care much for SwSh but I absolutely love these new rivals. Not only are they a return to the antagonistic rivals of Gen I and II, but they're antagonistic in a way that we've never seen before. Blue was a smug asshole and Silver was cold as ice, but they both knew it and never made any pretensions of being otherwise. Avery and Klara on the other hand are completely two-faced, acting innocent and nice one moment and absolutely toxic the next. They kinda remind me of May's old rival from the anime Harley.
Also at least Blue and Silver were honorable in battle, unlike Miss "How did those toxic spikes get here?" and Sir "Let's just agree that this move is banned".

Gen 8 music is really great. But... everything else?
The thing with gen 5 is that it was unnecessarily hated practically universally at launch. I personally grew up with Black 2 so it was my favorite generation. It was quite disheartening to see everyone hate on gen 5. But, as time went on, people saw all the good in gen 5 and started making memes about it. I doubt it will happen with gen 8; Gen 5 has some questionable stuff such as the designs and gym battles, but its positives definitely outweigh the cons. In my opinion, Gen 8’s flaws just show the pinnacle of Game Freak’s laziness and definitely hinder the gameplay much more than any issues gen 5 had.

Both characters have their cheesiness to them, but they do have really fascinating backstories that could make them interesting characters if properly developed

Maybe, depending on where in the timeline the Galar saga happens, Avery and Will (gen 2) become an iconic duo?
I liked her character development, going from a cheater who despises to into someone likable who wants to do better because of you. Even growing to be a gym leader. I don't have Shield so idk much on Avery's character, but to have a tag battle against him and Will would be good. With the passing of the torch theme this gen has, they could be a mentor/student team up.
I thought they were already Gym Leaders, it's just that they're in the minor league.

@@ArendAlphaEagle friends can be rivals. They compete with you in different areas but all of them attempt to battle with you to see who is the farthest along in training at some point in the games
Not gonna lie, I would've liked Klara to be our rival in the main game. This is the definition of every encounter being a different one. She's nuts, toxic, crazy, yet a bit cute. How the heck did they do that? Lol
And this theme just reflects how insane she is, with a bit of cuteness added in.

On her league cards it says how she was an Underground singer, but failed to sell a bunch of her debut albums. She decided to be a poison gym leader because of how much she likes the type, but never wanted to put the extra effort in until the MC arrived.

I love how in her animations there are subtle hints to Klara’s true nature, best shown with the angry face she does when throwing her pokeball and the way her battle intro animation goes. We all knew she was a jerk rival but I appreciate Gamefreak’s attempts at being subtle and “foreshadowing” (it’s in quotation marks because Klara never goes anywhere with her true nature aside from saying she’ll improve at the end of The Isle of Armour)
She actually improved but still has those animations for quirks. You can rematch her several times and she mixed up her team a bit from the final story battle with her.

Avery is a nice rival that acts like a jerk, Klara is a jerk rival that acts nice. Fun little dichotomy.
The sheer fact this lady has a Scolipede almost makes me wish I had Sword instead...
I have the chance to buy shield and have my previous save data when I borrowed the game, or buy sword and start from scratch and I'm buying sword so I can wear her shirt.

I think every dlc pass you get different rivals like in pokemon sword in shield you get Hop and bede and in the dlc you get Klara in sword and Avery in shield

Klara is unironically one of my favorite Pokémon characters of all time now. She's a poison type user, and the way they showed this in her personality is to make her as toxic as possible. Like she genuinely fucking hates you and it's so god damn funny, and its a nice change of pace compared to the overly cheesy "pOkeMOn aRE mY friENds" type of personality literally every other character in the game has. She's even willing to cheat to get what she wants and it's shown in the gameplay. Not to mention her design is super well thought out, and her theme song is BAD ASS.
Too bad we don't have a post main game version of her dialogue where she freaks out that the new champion just showed up.
Literal only other character IN THE FRANCHISE who shares a similar sentiment is Larry.
But he's a tired, overworked business man working a Gym AND is an Elite Four member.

I remember hearing or reading somewhere lost Normal Type Gym Leaders make up for their Pokémons' overall lack in flavor by going over the top themselves, but GF made Larry SPECIFICALLY TO CLEAVE SO HARD INTO NORMALITY.
He's also highly likely a candidate for Tumblr Sexy Manhood due to his looks

Can I just mention how I love the amount of expression boost this DLC gives?? You got surprised faces, a music cut, more use of the "..., ?, !" bubbles, and even the pupils move instead of their bodies turning a full 90°. I love this DLC.
Goes to show GameFreak is improving its DLC more for the game. Makes us hope CT has better stuff than IoA
If they improve full body turning animations (for both people and Pokémon) then I will understand their initial argument on why the cut the dex.
But hey, they’re improving. Won’t deny that. Hopefully they just keep it up
I just hope those improvements mean that the Sinnoh remake will look amazing, at least in the animation department. I really want to see Dialga or Giratina doing cool stuff in Mt Coronet.
Nearly 2 years later, Game Freak shows off Legends Arceus, and within it we are shown body turning animations.
As you can see, this is where SwSh's budget went.
And yet the actual Pokémon are still expressionless.
Best character in the DLC by far. I love how she reacts to you with even more hostility if you're nice to her.

I had level 70 pokemon in Isle of armour and level 80-90 in Crown Tundra lmao.
If you mean lvl 100 zacian then yes
They should've made it so every trainer has Pokémon on the same level as your team (or a bit higher) so this doesn't happen, they dropped this DLC at a time where everyone already had a pseudo-competitive team full of level 100 legendaries lmao

At that point I thought she was crazy like Avery lol. But at the very end...both misunderstood. And eventually became half decent friends.
@@Superfan109 oh no she's absolutely psychotic, she just isn't obsessively trying to beat you anymore because you beat Mustard, she said so herself, she didn't have a chance if you're even stronger than Mustard, which actually means she managed to both take losing well while also simultaneously calling bull on all of your victories because it just wasn't fair of you to fight her

I might be tripping, but does anyone else hear the Gen 2 poison sound effect? You know, that sound that you hear in Heartgold and Soulsilver when you take a few steps with a poisoned Pokémon in your party. Anyone else hear that?

Hands down one of my favorite Rivals. Its so refreshing when they make rivals that are kind of jerks. Also she actually improves over her journey. She's someone I'd love to meet again in later games hopefully as a crazy overpower Elite Four or even Champion after all her training.
No, I don't think she should be champion for the same reason I don't think how Karen wouldn't be able to become champion, they can't take an L.
I do think it would be fun to learn she made it to major league gym battles in Galar. Plus it would be an excuse to also include Roxie the only other notable poison gym leader since Koga.
We can fight a pastel goth in SwSh. I think GameFreak understands me a little too much.

@@jacek4423 Yeah but unlike just getting rid of the hazards it has a better utility of redirecting them. But Defog does reduce enemy evasion so I guess its good if you have low accuracy moves
@@MedicalBillz anyways, when a Poison (and I think it happens with Steel-types too) enters a battle with Toxic Spikes on, those disappear, unless they are immune to Ground-type moves, a.k.a Flying-type or have Levitate.
@@MedicalBillz Rapid Spin removes hazard , also in gen 8 it can boost Speed so your faster than other Pokemon's.
Cyber rb25 only poison types absorb t spikes, steel types are immune just like flying types are

Klara wants to be a gym leader for the clout
Avery wants be a gym leader to prove to his emotionally abusive family that he is not a failure
And yet they both just seek validation from society because they both perceive themselves as failures deep down, whether in psychic power or in musical talent.
This theme sounds so eerie yet upbeat at the same time. Almost like it's telling you to have fun while warning you of something. I like it.
She's a nice jerk rival, she even said "See you never!" similar to Blue's "Smell ya later!"

the funny part in my playthrough in the last battle was the fact that she prepped poison points but I did a monotype challenge and it just so happened that I chose to use only flying pokemon. she sucks so hard at cheating that her entire plan got destroyed by the flying type.

Definitely when I battled her I had a heads up from discord that she was cheating. Once I saw the purple glow I knew what she did. Best part. I still wiped out her team with inteleon and use gmax corviknight as my finale XD.

You think base on the bow being white, G-Dustox could be poison-ice planned for the Crown Tundra. Isla of Armor was more focused on new Gigantimax than Galarian forms.
Maybe in a future game Klara will reappear as a real gym leader and have a regional Dustox

Maybe, She didn't evolved her pokemon because she thought that the toxic spikes were enough to beat you
She only had a short while to get to the arena before us. She couldn't exactly do anything else when story wise she and the MC were heading straight to the arena after Mustard revealed that the final trial was a battle. She literally ran there so she could toxic spike before we caught up.

I love how her character is a poison type and her personality is toxic af, she is really a whole new take on type leaders
