Hi everyone! Finally got the game! I decided to share all my experience from the game!

They did give an awkward wave with Hop and Leon after the first tournament. Hop and Leon were waving to the crowd like crazy and the protag was like "Ah, shit, we wavin'? K" and did a small wave. At least that's how I interpreted it.

He's the nicest guy. That's why he is the first gymleader. He doesn't take these battles to serious, he just wants everyone to have a good time. He is one of the Best dudes.

Piers song with Raihan is hilarious. Honestly this generation might hold the best set of gym leaders the series. I know they’re my favorite without a doubt.
They all act like one big dysfunctional family and I'm here for it
Tbf, most gym leaders back then didn't really interact with each other, and any interactions we know of were off screen or rarely occured. Gen 8 let them have free will with most of their character interactions which is why so many people like this set of characters. They all have interactions with each other, essentially.
On top of the dlc option, which gave them more time to add to the characters' personalities.

I hope they make another game before they remake DPP, and get the voice-acting straight. Also work on the textures and animations. SwSh did a good job with character development, but it sucked on almost every other department and it's saddening.

she smiles when she’s with Mustard, too-it made me really happy as a Shield player to see the two fighting type experts pair together.

I love how much dialogue there is to the star tournament alone. You have to admit, the DLC has some perks.
Marnie is so cute when around 9:41 she smiles and puts her hands behind her back during Leon's explanation of keeping or switching partners, like she believes the player and her will win the whole tournament together, that faith is so cute!

My favorite interaction I've come across so far was a three way convo between Milo, Nessa, and Kabu. To paraphrase:

If you choose Kabu as your partner, and go up against Nessa and Milo, the three of them reminisce about seeing you and Hop off in Motostoke right after beating Kabu's gym.

I like seeing how good the gym leaders get along in this game. In the other games most of the gym leaders were never even in the same room together, so it's cool that it's not the same for this one
It’s interesting how the younger generation interacts with the older folks. I especially like how everyone treats Allister like baby.

This was honestly an epic feature for the games and I liked how it was similar to the PWT tournament in BW2. Whoever thought of it seriously needs a raise.

I absolutely love the personality of the Gym leaders/other characters in Galar. These interactions definitely let me appreciate them way more. Also Milo being a supportive big brother to Allister is so wholesome and precious. Also the interation between Melonie and Allister at 9:44 all I can say is XD Melonie is such a mom *I know that she is Geordie's mom but still*. (If you couldn't tell my favorite character is Allister...he's just so precious)
If Melony is allisters mothers then that means Gordie and allisters are brother

I think I got the luckiest interraction of them all. When I chose Hop as partner I got against Bede and Marnie round one so there was a special Rivals interraction and it was pretty dope

The look Marnie and the Champion give each other at 9:40 when asked if you want to stay with the same partner is adorable like, yeah we're sticking together.
The dialouge between these characters is an obvious example of the fact that the Pokemon universe is too innocent for this world.

I love how it's not just generic text, but each trainer has a line with each other.
Bea and Mustard have such great synergy, both specializing in fighting types and being serious and both having martial art teacher-like personalities. I love it haha

I wanted to make a "he's mine" joke to make it worse (I like to pretend to be closer than we actually are just to make people uncomfortable, it's so funny and I don't know why)
This tournament needed a melony and gordie interaction
That would have been so dope

I was about to say "It's sad that their relationship got so bad, they can't even team up", but then I remember gym exclusive.
Honestly, this would have been the perfect opportunity to let players see the otherwise-version-exclusive Gym Leaders. They missed it, alas.

I wish there were more interactions between Avery and Bede, the two of them make such an interesting pair
I love Galar's Gym Leaders. I don't like the gyms themselves that much, but I love how much life the Leaders have. They feel less like characters and more like people.
Edit: Marnie and Piers are still my favorites though, lol.

the interactions of all these characters plus how much their lives have changed throughout the adventure makes me want a black 2 and white 2 scenario for sword and shield, just to fight bede and marnie as gym leaders and see hop as a professor
