I’m confused why so many people were shocked seeing her personality. It was heavily foreshadowed before her release that she’s more cunning then she looks. I mean her jersey number means “dangerous” in Japanese 😂

she is an incredibly fun character to me.
so quirky and well.. toxic.
the animatuons reflect her really well. the bouce to her step combined , the ^_^ that turns into a -_- sometimes, the upbeat theme with its punky parts, really fits well altogether

also she holds her pokeball at gunpoint
This makes me kinda regret picking Shield 6 months ago

Just for once, I'd like to see the opposing Pokemon also get the "morale" buffs. Like "the enemy Weezing broke free of confusion to not let down its trainer" or something.
Not only would it add more challenge and level the playing field, it'd help add characterization to enemy NPC's and their relationship with their Pokemon.
LGP/LGE did something like this but instead they made the Pokémon survive at 1hp

Bede went so far into being an asshole that it looped around to insufferable again. Blue at least boasted about his own skills. Bede can't even go an encounter without bringing up his endorsement by Rose or him "going easy on you". Like bruh, all your guys got one-shotted, and you're still talking smack? Never before did I want to crush someone's dreams and leave them utterly broken before. Part of that may be because he was piss easy, but seems to be an issue with SwSh as a whole. Literally only trainer to ever give even a modicum of difficulty was Leon.

When i fought her for her final battle, she set up toxic spikes, but, I lead with a poison type, so i got immediately rid of them! 😂

I love both Avery and Klara - they feel like humans and the rivalry with them feels organic because you really wanna beat them and rub their faces in it. And then you read their league cards and feel sorry for them

Have we actually even HAD a more evil-acting Poison-type trainer before Klara. You could argue maybe Team Galactic, since they use a lot of Poison-types, but, from what I can remember, the only exclusively Poison-type trainers I can remember are Koga, Janine, and Roxie, who don’t really act evil in the slightest.

The only form of level scaling present in the DLC is based on whether you've beaten the Champion or not. If you have, everything is like level 60, if not, everything is like level 10. It doesn't directly scale to your level, or even based on your number of badges.

The DLC can be played so long as you have reached the wild area. They didn’t want people who have just started the game to fight evolved Pokémon
@@MasterMix291 The DLC pokémon are in the 60's. If the player already reached the same level it shouldn't be a issue facing evolved pokémon.

The levels are cap on how many badges that you have, 8 badges then all of them are at/above level 60 but if you have no badges it goes lvl 12 and above, but still it would make it better if they are evolved when they are at level 60

I wish they would scale more things. Like if you have 6 Pokémon she’d have 6. If her Pokémon were able to evolve at that level, they’d evolve. And giving her some items couldn’t hurt, even just Oran and Sitrus Berries would make it just a tiny bit more difficult
I notice her pokemon's levels are actually based on how far you are in the main game. I restarted my play through yesterday, and her pokemon were only around level 10.

It could be dlc 2, but Klara still wouldn't have it. Klara and Avery are exclusive to the Isle of Armor, they most likely won't even appear in the crown tundra.

I prefer Klara's design a lot more than Avery's, but I much prefer Avery as a character and overall. He's so over-the-top, and his animations have a lot more charm to them.

That's all that's going through my head when I see Klara. Her personality is a bit more toxic that she lets on, and unlike with Avery, I don't think they give a reason why she's like this.
Her encounter music fits so damn well with her battle one, in her second battle in th evid the transition is perfect

Oh man, that was cool. I was always waiting for something like that to spice the game up, she’s the first trainer in these games to ever cheat like that as far as I recall. Hoping for more stuff like this to spice up future games cuz standard battles can get boring sometimes.
Also, she’s a neat character. Cool character design, kick ass music, and fun personality (if a bit flat, though this video is all I’ve seen of her so not good to judge too quickly).
