C'mon. Just because there is no consensus among the public about what, how and why of- doesn't mean there is no conspiracy theory to explain and join all the 'apparently ' disparate dots.

Both China & India can't think of one case as one, because by the time you discovered 1 case, you don't know how many other people came in contact with that one person. Unlike the rest of the world with fewer population and not practicing living in close proximity of each other. China is the worse place for an all outbreak to go out of control. The fear and freaking out is probably from the fact that people know that it's too late by the time one case is found. Adding the larger population of elderly that they have, any normal person will be worried.

Don't get fooled by what an Indian news outlet says about China. The reality is, such an outbreak in such a populous country is a concern for everyone. Don't forget what havoc Delta variant caused in India in 2021. If we relax too much, we might see a repetition of that same things.

Australia in particular Melbourne tryed the zero covid theory several times and it did not work at all , now anything under 10000 covid infected in a day is considered a better day . Hi Palki! I'm watching you from Shenzhen, China. Yes, the entire city is locked down. No public transportation and everyone has to work from home. Restaurants and some supermarkets however, are still open (I guess you could call them "essential workers"). Delivery drivers can't come to our door, they come to the building gate and drop it off. We are given cards that allow us to leave up to 2 hours if we want to go buy groceries. I don't know the details because I haven't used them yet, although I'm out of food so will have to try it today. We've been tested every other day. I don't sense any panic, just inconvenience. Since June/July of 2020, life over here has been good, pretty much business-as-usual, but these past few months have been troublesome with so many new cases. Will China's borders ever be open again??

If vaccines are supposed to minimize risk of having severe/critical cases, and therefore deaths/hospitalizations, why the need for lockdowns? Do they have a low vaxx rate despite sinopharn, sinovac etc?
In my province in Canada, 81% of new cases have 2 or 3 doses of vaccine already. My brother and his whole family have the virus, and they were immunized.
The immunization doesn't work. It was just to sell, to make money.
If they hadn't been so draconian from the first outbreak more people would have natural immunity. And if they hadn't induced so much negative emotions, people would have been calmer; fear/stress/anxiety may not kill you, but anyone with anxiety can tell you it does the body no favours.

@@rogerjohnson2562 I worked at a University and I know that students from China get freaked out over the slightest illness. One came in for a wound check, there was no mark on her hand. I've traveled quite a bit, never to China. This isn't a dang concert! I guess there is no such thing as a Covid test appointment in China. Maybe they'll achieve herd immunity this way.

I have a Vaccine Pass, and I got booster. A week after the booster I was sick, and I had covid my son sleeps with me tested negative the whole time. He became positive once I tested negative after five days. He also tested negative after five days. He is not vaccinated why is it the same and no difference.
because if you took Sinovac its efficacy is less than 20% (aka 80+ percent chance it does nothing to help with covid) also u can be a carrier for up to 2 weeks even if you feel better.

The best way to handle virus outbreak is different for each phase of the community spread. China did it right in the beginning but they failed to adapt to the changing phase. They cannot have zero tolerance policy at this stage where the virus already spread to the whole world.
China said the virus wasn't airborne in the beginning. Instead of containing it they kept international flights opened. Spread the virus, silenced Dr. Wen li Liang who tried to warn the world. Whats worse is they refused international investigators to enter wuhan. Thanks to china, the world suffered.

i am a filipino living in china..everything is fine...our company just locked down for 21 days and we brought to a hotel and we have daily swabtest..they give everything what we need and now we cameback to work..mostly tested positive were all asymptomatic and they all fine and released in quarantine in a days. ..chinese government just doing the best for the country..chinese still great in making decisions unlike other countries...sometimes videos could create panic in the world..

In my state in Brazil we had several days with 8000 cases confirmed of omicron and nobody panicked, the cases were mostly asymptomatic but the health service notify all cases. Our way of handling the pandemic was not very good, but people refused to panic, at the start we had a month of lockdown and the cases were rising anyway. So, after a time people got tired of isolation and decided to accept the risks. Now, masks are not mandatory anymore.
I kind of understand the Chinese panic because they have a huge population so many people will die for lack of medical care, its impossible to help everyone in case of an outbreak. Transparency of information would help a lot, but we're talking about China...

How does omnicron effect them so much? I am in Canada and COVID seems to be on its way out. We got rid of many COVID mandates. I hope it doesn't spread again and mandates come back 😥 but then 25.93% of China population is 55 years old or older.
