Man Epic Universe is really shaping up to be something special
100% and this is just 1 of the lands
Excited here. I am SO glad to see that villaige square being built - it looks like it'll be a replica of the Hunchback of Notre Dame back lot town square that was re-used in a LOT of classic Universal Monster films and others (Sherlock Holmes, anyone?). That alone will give me chills of delight.

Definitely Monster for me and my husband. We are in our late 40's but still love rides and rollercoasters and are excited for the whole park but Monsters land is something we always dreamed of! 😁 Also we have 4 sons age 24,19,16 ,and 13 and they will all love it too!
Its always awesome to share these experiences aka blast from the past with the kids. Cant wait to take my son when hes old enough.
Smallest part of the park but I hope it gets expanded. Need my nostalgia.

Halloween 2025...we're coming from Maine! I've been longing for a theme park honoring the Classic Universal Monsters since I can remember. As a kid growing up, I was obsessed with them. I dressed as Dracula, Frankenstein and the Werewolf every Halloween as I grew up. I used to peruse TV Guide trying to find if and when the movies were being played, making sure I didn't miss them. Every now and then our local movie theater would have a "Monster Movie Marathon" and my friends and I would hunker down for 4 hours of Monster Movie fun. Throughout the years I've collected all of the movies on VHS, then DVD, and now we have all of the movies on Blu-ray. Finally, as I reach my 60th birthday, my dreams have been realized!
Noone better to do it than Universal, this land is going to be amazing 😈
This is for me the most anticipated world. I love classic monsters and I probably will cry when I see this for the first time. Not really, but maybe.

As a fan of the classic monster movies from the 1930’s and 1940’s, I hope universal nails it this time. So far they have only had one successful reboot/remake of the original films.

Universal has the holloween events on LOCK DOWN!! It would be SUPER kool, if UNI put an automatronic black lagoon creature in the ponds, and every hour or so a creepy head pops out the water and blinks its eyes at you. People and kids would loose their minds!!

The interest for me will definitely come down to the esthetic if they just do the same monsters but modern like they tried with there dark universe cinematic universe then it won’t be very good as a lot of the monsters are kind of generic but if they actually do like the black and white 40s serial style then I’m in
I think its going to be more classic approach and it interesting to note that the cinematic dark universe has nothing to do with this land

Personally I’m more hyped for what I feel is the underdog of the park (how to train your dragon) sure I’m biased cause I literally grew up with the series however it seems to have a better coaster then monster land cause from what I’m seeing it looks like the werewolf coaster is more on line with flight of the hippogriff and how to train your dragon looks more like Hagrid’s intensity (maybe a bit lower) however where monster land has the up hand for me is the dark ride which looks like it will be awesome
Oooo idk i think dark universe is the underdog, least family friendly of the 5…. But i think how to train your dragon will be awesome!
I think HTTYD will end up competing against Dark Universe for most popular.

As much as I love the original monsters design I hope they are all used except for the wolf man. That design isn't it. Hope if anything they make him at least look more monster than man with a costume

I am ok with Wolfman. Too scary and the kiddos will start screaming. The 3 tiered shoulder pads for Dracula though... not feeling the "waiter" look. I understand wanting to add a little modern to the costumes... but the classic cape and slick back hair is timeless. Those bangs have got to go.
As every one has an opinion, mine is Universal does not appreciate the legacy of their classic Universal Monsters. By bastardizing the look of the Classic Monsters they do a disservice to the legacy and creation of what makes them enduring in the first place. I know its all about money. Id rather have nothing, if they are taking this approach. I will just cherish the original Classic Monsters, and never this trash they trying to peddle.

I'm,not giving Universal a Chance. They have bastardrized the look of Classic Monsters for way to long, what makes you think they would start now. You prove that with you video. They have had many chances in the past, and we are still getting this trash.
You are obviously very passionate about it, but im still most excited for this land. Aside from that, hope you are still enjoying the content on the channel.
