On Saturday 25th August, the guitar legend Slash, frontman Myles Kennedy and their band The Conspirators played a blistering show at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, and Moshcam was there to exclusively film every second of it.
Aided and abetted by frontman Myles Kennedy and their band The Conspirators (guitarist Frank Sidoris, bassist Todd Kerns and drummer Brent Fitz), the iconic axeman delivered a searing set featuring Guns 'N' Roses classics like 'Sweet Child O' Mine', 'Paradise City' and 'Nightrain', Velvet Revolver's choicest cuts 'Slither' and 'Fall To Pieces' and stand-out Slash
moments like 'Halo' and 'You're A Lie' from his new album 'Apocalyptic Love'.

@@holaquetal3085 Buckethead doesn't make a Les Paul sound like that. He's excellent, but different from Slash. It's apparent how different they are just from Buckethead's performance in Guns N' Roses.

Great guitarists have a unique voice and you can’t mistake slash
Slash's solos are never boring. That was truly amazing the whole way through.
Slash is the only player to truly sound like he's singing through his guitar playing. His vibrato is unique to him it sounds like a vocalist.

10 minutes can seem long when a guitarist is improvising but not when Slash is playing.

Luckily he's living. During a tour he was dead for 8 minutes because of drugs, so really a miracle he's alive and showinb the world.
The evolution of slashes guitar playing has by far been the most compelling I’ve ever seen. He couldn’t pull bends like 4:01 off in the 80s. Hell, Stevie Ray would be proud of those. He went from one trick pony to a session quality player over the years and his one trick back in the day was a hell of a trick. He’s by far one of the best GUITARISTS in the world with an ear and phrasing like no other. Any style he touches these days sounds like his favorite. The ultimate compliment.

The guy playing air guitar in the crowd is me at every rock show and pretty much whenever I'm listening to rock or metal on my earphones.
He has made a huge impact on the music industry and just continues to deliver if I ever get a chance to meet him I'd thank him for making me want to take up the guitar

Have always loved Slash from when my sons, as teenagers introduced his music to me. I' now 71, still love it!
He may not be the most dynamic or technical. What sets this bad mammajamma apart is the groove and feel he puts into every lick.

LOL and people try to argue hes not the best guitarist alive today, let alone all time.
I mean, Slash is my favorite guitar player of all time, and he inspired me to pick a guitar, however, saying that "X" guitar player is better than "Y" (or the best ever) is pretty dumb because they are artists and art is 100% subjective. Sure for you and me Slash is right there at the very top, because we love the way he plays, however, if you grab a hardcore Pantera fan (just for example) he will tell you that Dimebag Darrell kicks Slash´s butt and for him it will be the absolute truth but for people like us it will not.
We all know Slash is a monster on the guitar, but come on... greatest of ALL time?

Juul page is sloppy af, don’t get me wrong tho I respect his riffs writing and being influencer to those guitarists but he’s nowhere near Moore or Slash in terms of consistency.
