Hi grit level function eats highs for my taste along my Fender American 5 straight into preamp maybe the compressor too ... I agree about the native distortion

which did you go for? im in same position now but this pedal seems to have more functionality with outputs and iv heard thats theres some hissing with the origin fx one?
Good review. Seems like a one trick pony. I have the ampeg scr-di and, although not the same type of sounds, just doesn't seem worth the expense for the SGT.

Thanks man!! Well, Jon (who else? 😂) did a video on such a hack! Just use the AUX in on the side and you’re good to go :) It’s a WAY different drive compared to the EBS pedals. This is a tube emulation, so to speak - not an over the top, screaming source of distortion goodness :)
