Because Mummy & Daddy brought them the ticket to hang out with their prep mates. You don't get festivals like this in the uk. You still get ripped off for food etc but everyone knows who there to see. Glastonbury is an exception I'll admit.

I saw them in my hometown of Fresno CA back in 1993 I think or 92 it was right when he had first cut his beautiful hair that disappointed me but they did not they played with another great band babes in toyland and I was so young I was like 14 and I met them and kissed Mike Patton and took pictures with them it was a dream come true one of my best memories I'll never forget they were so good in concert I just love them forever my number one favorite band of all time yes yes yes !!! Is it just the sound engineering or was the crowd as quiet as they sound in this video? Example: Midlife Crisis here has a quiet crowd while their crowds in Europe a louder by several magnitudes.
@@EdwoodCA I think the digital recording of the live feed got kinda screwed somewhere between the live feed and capture equipment. Otherwise this would've made for a great Live Performance Video to be put out for "sales". This was a great mix of songs on the Setlist.

This performance is from 2010. He was 42. He's still got some impressive performances at 52 just look around.
This might be one of their best performances since Live at Brixton Academy. I hope the sound was down on the crowd because watching this it looked and sounded like the crowd was lame AF.
I was there, probably 20 feet from the front. The crowd was kind of there for Muse (?) I'm fairly certain, they were after. Still, I was surrounded by a good few people that were extremely hyped, along with me (a new fan at the time). I remember shit getting really wild for the breakdown of Caffeine.
Caffeine is gold.
I've been to heaps of gigs and some people are enjoying the music standing still just as much as those dancing or moshing. But I get where you're coming from, personally I couldn't stand still.
Enjoyment of music does not necessitate jumping up and down and dousing your neighbors with your spilled beer. Some people are just fine with standing and LISTENING. We don't have any need to please YOU.
I was thinking that too their probably too young n dumb n full of u know.....but if their ears were there they had to of heard n if they never knew of FNM u think they'd be in aw n amazed u can hear them start to realize wassup after caffeine. .tho

They're not worthy of a lot of the groups that preform there
Yet some of these some artists still suck the teet Coachella provides. I think its safe to say its a symbiotic endeavor. Relevancy and clout in exchange for a big pay check. Don't underestimate the power of dollars being dangling in front of some washed up has been band.

There is nothing “washed-up” or “has-been” about FNM or anything Mike Patton does. EVER.
I know that live shows are typically tuned about a half step down (hardly noticeable when live), and that usually the tempo is a bit quicker, but it's almost like they changed settings to x1.5
