Sir, your video is very much helpful for us for learning the electricity market in india and no one provide this great information in simple language. till now, you are a single person on RUclips that provide that knowledge. You are great sir 🙏
Sir, Please provide video on behind the meter procedure and approvals required for behind the meter. Also on various types of CT's used in net metering like plug type CT, bar type CT, round CT- how to fix that CT's in generation panel or for fixing these CT's any busbar dimension is required or not?
For example 1. Industry A has 500KVA DG set for self consumption 2. Industry B has 2MW TG set self consumption ➕️ export to grid 3. Industry C has 10MW for export to grid only In which above cases ìt is called CPP?
Hi sir.. easy way to learn through your videos.. how the consumer's of GCPP -on grid in different EDC adjust their consumption of units from GCPP..??? suppose one OA consumer procure power from IEX & GCPP too..on one month consumption is low..on priority basis first power procure IEX energy will be adjusted ..balance only adjust from GCPP..still remains excess.. wat my question is generation is higher in GCPP, but consumption will low in GCPP..in that case wat will do..???
@@ElectricityMarketInIndia :okay understood sir...is there any DSM charges for C&I consumers in TN....their NOC of 15 minutes block is suppose 5 MW.. power clearence chance is less in IEX..then they get supply form DISCOM only...So DISCOM not planned for 5MW in Schedule..so that they playing penalities as DSM to RLDC pooled account..is that DSM amt is recover from the C&I clients..
Electricity Market In India excellent article sir.. I have a doubt sir ... What happens to the electricity generated by power plant either thermal, renewable etc that is not used ???? Can it be stored for later use ???
If it's renewable, it can be banked for later use depending on state specific regulations.... However Thermal Hydro can't be banked.... The power gets injected in grid and the discon pay to the generator at UI rate or that time block (DSM mechanism)
Sir, I have a small doubt, why parallel operation charges taken in India for captive power plant, while this charges is not applicable in UK & USA and other countries
Completely different concepts... Captive power are two types... Offgrid and ongrid..... Mini grid is a grid which has generation and distribution for a small region

It doesn't happen like that, you have to schedule the power through SLDC
Every unit is counted for

Need to know how a generating company can sell its power directly to consumers
It can sell under Third Party Open Access Bilateral, Group Captive Open Access

Sir can a state discom work as a group captive generation plant by taking equity based investment from private companies?
No
Sir, I have a small doubt, why parallel operation charges taken in India for captive power plant, while this charges is not applicable in UK & USA and other countries
Thanks, for your illustration. I have a question. What is the difference between microgrid and captive power?
Completely different concepts... Captive power are two types... Offgrid and ongrid..... Mini grid is a grid which has generation and distribution for a small region
👍👍
Rajib you have done great work in covering all the topics of group captive. Good work . keep it up
Consumer which is used 100 KW power, can take power from captive power plant.
Any limit to avail?
No, minimum requirement is 1000 KVA for Ongrid CPP, Offgrid CPP can be less than 1000 KVA
