Why do power traders exist like PTC India, if discoms can buy directly from GENCOS
Good question, lot of discoms do purchase directly, but power traders help in meeting short term power requirement and banking contracts

Sir in case when a short term application between buyer and seller is applied but at paticular date HT line of seller broken and seller intimate the buyer that they will supply power to buyer after 16:00 but buyer also placed it bid in rtm market and at that time HT line is corrected and that short term power also flow and buyer also purchase extra power in rtm market then in this case who can bear DSM charges and who can get DSM benifit
How the exact calculation has been done for UI for Maharashtra state?
