I love when he played Breath of the Wild, after completing all four shrines as the Old Man tells him to go where the shrines cross, he literally pauses and SEEMS to read this VERY IMPORTANT information, then hits next and goes "I didn't read that"

Jerma played like a maniac at John Gutter's even though there was no time limit but when there's a time limit due to Pizza Time, he says "I got plenty time, I'm fine"
Yeah it's because the chat was misleading as hell.
I'm only a half hour in, but I hope his chat points out that speed doesn't matter, but combo does. He's straight up running past enemies to maintain speed as if it matters.

to be fair controllers (specifically the analog sticks) being bad is a well known issue.
he really had no reason to run past the door but to be fair it's hard to get the hang of the grab-slide especially if you have your face against the wall
mouse and keyboard is the best way to play this no idea why anyone is saying to use a controller or for any sort of controller support. You can barely duck and crawl at the same time using an analog stick...

@@AKAProm dpad has the same issue, some dpads are one whole plastic cover so you can't press two at once and trying to fenaggle your thumb to hit both directions is more difficult than just hitting an arrow key with an extra finger.

Holy crap, between getting stuck in the box at the very end and not drawing when the game literally says DRAW! at the end of The Vigilante's boss fight, Pizza Tower is delivering on Worst Gamer Moment nominees
I see him flubbing some of the most obvious stuff but am still genuinely surprised that he was able to get used to the controls really quickly, like parrying, he picked it up instantly.

I’m honestly surprised at how well he got the controls down. Most people fumble them the entire way but Jerma showed that he knew what he was doing most of the time except for certain moments
Also, despite the reasons to "clown on him" for playing, he is the most observant person I've seen when it came to looking at the UI and menus in this game.

The stock sound effects things is interesting. Like Jerma said, so many games use stock sound effects that it's kind of hard to believe-- in the sense that you grow up hearing certain sound effects only to then hear them in so, so many different places, not even just games. For me it was Ratchet and Clank. The metal gate opening sound is a big one for sure. It was one of if not my first experience hearing those sounds, and even if I heard them before then, I played RaC so much that I just associated them with that game series to the point where it really only feels "normal" there even if it's the same as any other. Even though looking back it sounds so stock it's funny. It is always fun pointing out stock sound effects-- except for shit like the Wilhelm scream, 99.9% of the time it's just annoying and takes you out of the film.
Aside from that it's pretty interesting. Many times you can't tell right away or you'll hear something that sounds shockingly like another thing only to realize that the thing you thought was original was actually stock. It's fascinating and gives every game that uses that stuff a somewhat shared nostalgia, more or less. Not that I prefer stock sound effects or anything, they just are what they are.

Haven't watched this yet but Vinny did pretty good later in the late game, beating the fourth boss first try and final on his second.
Joel on the other hand has never made me yell at my phone screen more than in his playthrough.

Jerma is really good at boss fights. Distill a game down to “React to moves using three or less Buttons and time attacks.” And he’s seriously better than most streamers.

Meanwhile I've seen the complete polar opposite where for some reason some dumbass was convinced they can only deal damage to Pepperman with mach run.
Even though he picked up on making the marble sculptures and even mashed grab so fast they damaged Pepperman with it in the process, they still didn't recognize grab as an attack.
I didn't keep exact count, but they they went through like 10 or more attempts before they finally realized grab can deal damage...

Vod was nice and all, but it started to go downhill when Jerma said "It's Pizza Time!" And revealed a stack of pizzas in the back of room before proceeding to spend a whole two hours eating all of the pizzas in real time.
Those last ten seconds of his first Pizzascape attempt were both agonizing and hilarious to watch.

Its amazing how Jerma's thought process make the game incredibly hard for him to follow, like him mistaking Gustavo and Mr. Stick's "Run in this direction" as "This thing is important" and misunderstanding the mechanics for some of the transformations, as well as some Worst gamer moments like not understaning what "Draw" meant. I guess when you play so many games for so long that you begin to look too closely at things and end up looking for a seabed in a puddle.
