Being a spectator in this felt like witnessing one of the greatest battles between demon summoners. Seriously, the background, the music and the constant swapping of demons made the atmosphere and the mood of the battle so good! Bravo!
This looks more difficult, but I'm glad someone took on the challenge. I was so confused when you took out a level 49 muu shuwuu 🤣 but then I remembered she's a raptor. Great job
It was so smooth my "test" run on stream ended up being a successful attempt first try rofl (just didn't get the disrespect kill with Nuwa like I wanted so tried again for it :p)
3:21 when that solo hits, chills man. Also, I love how Demifiend's demons aren't the 'best' demons in Nocturne, but ones a lot of players used (I remember the surprise of evolving Cu and Parvati on a first playthrough and keeping them for a while) or have a connection to Demifiend like in Thor and Pixie's case. It'd be hilarious if they had him summon Daisoujou along the same lines. Kind of wish they gave Demifiend the charge skill as another throwback, but charge+Freikugal might make the fight a little too unfair for a player. As is, I can only see this as an improvement on the DDS fight since there's far less (though obviously still some) RNG that goes into it.
Great work omega I knew you would do credit to all of us magic nahobinos out there who beat demi fiend but hasn't posted a video I was waiting a while for this can't wait to see if you find a way to break the fight like with the figment slash strat
Pretty cool, nice job. So I guess Safeguard helps a lot, and Idun's Golden Apple is the ultimate skill as usual, but it seems you need quite a good amount of MP to go through.
@@blastmole299 That's why I used the cheap attack support skill instead. Shiva was always there to tank my Defense anyway (haven't fought Demi-Fiend yet), so I used Showers only when needed. It made the battle way longer, but I made it, somehow. I did try to go with my Omega Idun, but it felt very tight since I wasted my time buffing and buffing. It seems I just played out my strategy horribly, though.
I like this. Constant sac of clay spam with safeguard... how did i not think of that? Im gonna drop luster candy for safeguard when i attempt this on hard. For a magic build certainly didnt suprise me to see the majority of damage on Demi Fiend coming from a Zeus or Odin, but i would have thought you'd use Safeguard on nahobino with some multibarion elemental moves with a focus on ice or fire!
Yeah my issue with Ma-spells is that they are surprisingly weak in this game so sometimes Zeus would of had to help kill something if I was getting too close to Gaea Rage turn (which would of wasted more turns of DPS on Demi-Fiend). Other than that, you probably noticed I was trying to keep both Giri and Thor on the field but also rotating each other out to have constant Force weakness abuse so having single target spells made it easier to bum rush the other more problematic demons like Parvati and Pixie lol (no healing ever!) and not kill Giri/Thor too fast with AoE damage between Nuwa and the MC.
Btw Omega, im gonna try this eventually, but I may as well tell you, i want to see if a full team of physical attackers spamming Yabusame shot is viable lol
So I have repel Phys on my team, and the enemies don't seem to physically attack me as much as they do in this video. Do you know if it's because the AI picks up on that and resorts to almighty attacks instead?
Yes they do, if the entire team of 4 NDRs (Null/Drain/Repel) Phys then they will opt to spam almighty/status/buffs. Thats why I left Zeus with Resist Phys so they focus on him whenever they decide to use phys moves. Do note that Demi-fiend will use Freikugel everytime he summons someone to the field if he gets another turn in that rotation regardless of affinities, so you should still make sure you can tank it with everyone. (There is, however, an exploit you can do even if your whole team NDRs, if you switch in demons that repel phys, Demi-fiend will check their phys affinity prompting him to reflect himself, I don't use that in this video, but I do in the quick kill video with magic build though)
Mother Harlot. The most important thing for the essence really is something that negates phys damage (or res phys if you want the MC to tank a couple of deadly furies). So you can use others too.

The weakness coverage makes the fight feel smoother even though actual damage is a bit lower, I gotta give this a try on a new run lmao
