I don't know if you ever get a chance to look at new posts on old videos, but here I am, watching some of your old stuff and getting even more excited to try my aqua resin. I got it! Tomorrow is THE day!
With the round mold. I make it with just jesmonite. Once i take it out of the mold before i seal it. I put the gold on top. Its a bit more work but try it because its worth it. Love your video you give me so much ideas.
Lovely Claire. You can create your own molds by using a small plastic ( or cellophane wrapped) container inside a bigger one and pour the jesmonite between the two (after you've put a base layer in the bigger one) - OR - you can google garden decor molds but they are hugely expensive.
Interesting, Informative and very Helpful!!! Not to mention, Inspiring and illuminating!!😅 LOVE the industrial look add you really nailed it- with or without the foil!!! Brilliant!!🤩

I think that’s why I love your videos so much is that you are just as surprised as we are when you de-mould! Lol and the little pot I’m sure would supposed to be the barrel shape. Love it! Those jewellery pieces too are beautiful! They are giving my some ideas myself.

I have had molds bow slightly the underside cross frame is to blame. I’ve been told to place the mold in sand to underfill the cross frame or put resin in the underside to firm up the underside to give strength and shape to your pour side. I too have been looking for a larger plant pot mold too struggling with no success x

Hi. I usually use epoxy resin but I've just ordered some jesmonite to try for the time. Wirh resin if you get tiny holes from bubbles on the rim you can hide maybe by using top coat or resin or tiny bit of UV resin on a toothpick to fill. How do you fill the tiny holes you may get with jesmonite? Thanks x
Love your videos Claire. Their such an inspiration and your personality is infectious. The little pot from Wish would make a nice little candle holder. Just a thought but would it work I wonder if you add the foil directly to some Jesmonite before you add it to the mold like you do with the terrazzo shards. So add the foil to a little Jesmonite, spread it across the mold where you want it, the fill the rest of the mold with your other colours, then fill the finished product to reveal the foil afterwards? Would that work? I love the foil in the Jesmonite, it really gives it that something extra. A bit of sparkle. About filing, you need to buy yourself a Jooltool to speedup the process of filing for you. 😂😂😂😂
Heyyyy Helen, thank you so much I am glad you love my videos ... The foil I have not yet tried putting it inside the jesmonite. I worry it may get lost but would be worth trying for sure. So, the AC100 can and does get used as a candle vessel however, AC100 is Combustible so you would have to take care to ensure at least a 1 inch gap around the wick all around ... the AC730 is NON-combustible so better for candles x
Very nice love concept. However could you add flake gold or copper after and then put a nice coat over it to secure the flakes. Just thinking I have never used jesmonite can you use a clear matte or semi gloss spray to seal it or do you have to use something made for jesmonite? Stunning pieces. Definitely a win. Even though you may have to touch up flakes. Thanks for sharing Claire. You make georgeous creations. Take care. Hugs Sheryl 💛🎨💛
