Is Women's Health A Hidden Cost of Fast Fashion? We all love to purchase clothes and shoes sold by global fast fashion brands, but what's the true cost for the workers who make it? This video looks at the harsh reality of working conditions, especially for women, who make up the majority of the industry's workforce. The video explains how high pressure, long hours, and unsafe work environments harm workers' health. Moreover, it highlights the need for a gender-sensitive lens in looking at workers' health and safety concerns. This video is produced under the support of a multi-stakeholder partnership working towards a solution. It is comprised of partner organisations FEMNET, Cividep India, Trade Union Rights Centre (TURC), and SÜDWIND, and supported by Engagement Global and the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (Germany).
