i was wondering why you tape your feet and how long it took you to feel comfortable in your spikes without socks, im a senior track runner and this year was the first time i ever heard not wearing socks and when i did, it felt unnatural, is it just a personal preference or does it have its benefits

If you ran sub 50 in a round at the Olympics, it sure was kept quiet. Anyway, you are too inconsistent. You have been around for a long time. If your 400 m: 49.84 s (Indianapolis 2007) was legitimate...then there is a problem. Where is your "muscle memory?" At 17, after I broke 50, I never ran 50 seconds again. I meant in the open 400. I went 46 in the Relays at the Penns in 86...but that does not count as my best open was 48. No hate, I'm a fan.
