      +Denise Long Shiflett welcome to samsungs, where you have multiple ways to do the same thing I loooove options. so many more options and freedom of choice that apple products don't allow you. congrats but get ready for a huge learning curve don't get frustrated and give up galaxies are worth it.

      +kelli-anne hawkins thanks, it was a bit confusing the first day or so, but I know pretty much all the basics of the phone, it's so hard cause like I said with only having apple products, which I'm on my iPad Air now lol...it's easier for me to see on my iPad Air then my phone do you know of a good screen protector for the Samsung s7 edge? I bought one, it wasn't a cheap one, and it doesn't even hardly stick, the edges come up. I am loving my new phone! Very happy with it :) now I'm just waiting for my VR gear to come!!! Hope u have a great day!!!! If I have any questions about my phone can I ask you questions? :) thanks again.

    • @bigmuddy11
      @bigmuddy11 8 лет назад

      +Kittencuddler i am new to s7 edge as well but ask away you never know what people know and i love looking into the phones weeks before i get them though i have been a Samsung girl since the first one. i did skip the s6 version as they took away waterproofing microsd card slot and replaceable battery. but have had to give in with the edge as my s5 died. any treated glass protector that covers the whole edge will help but must say 9H Hardness. anything less will scratch or break easier but remember they are what you want to break instead of the phone display.. email me @ bigmuddy11@hotmail.com
      if you want to chat about the lovely world of galaxies

    Hey Sakitech,
    I love your video about my soon to have Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
    You are in my eyes one of the best people that explain the phone settings.
    You're precision and without any stuttering or mistakes.
    You are very good to hear and follow (even when you are Dutch) ; )
    The phone is good to see,the lightning is perfect and we can see perfectly how you go on about changing the settings on the phone.
    Thank you and keep being a good example for everyone what want to share information on RUclips.
    Love you keep making the video's

    • @sakitech
      @sakitech  8 лет назад +2

      +Cachicochip That used to be an option, but some carriers lock that option. I am locked into the "Tab View" by AT&T. You are probably locked into a "List View" by your carrier.

    I see you have the AT&T version of the Galaxy S7. The T-Mobile version of this device does not have the Touch Key Light Duration setting. Also the option to change the backgrounds for the icon is disabled on the T-Mobile version. The settings menu is in a list view, no swiping left and right to get to different titles like Personal, and Device. Just a list view.

    This is my second S7 due to my first one going "all green screen of death" and since I had just purchased it, AT&T immediately replaced it with a brand new one. One thing I wanted to comment on is the "always on display". Now keep in mind that I am by no means any kind of expert on Samsung phones or phones by any other manufacturer. This is just from my personal experience. The battery may not "drain" from using the always on display but the screen will get hot. Once this happens, green lines will appear on the screen followed by the entire screen turning green. On advice from another S7 user, I placed my phone into the freezer for 20 minutes. At which time I was able to get back into my phone only to start deleting photos, texts, etc... Anything that I didn't want on the phone when I returned it. Now I did have to place it into the freezer 5 to 7 times in order to retrieve all of my stuff due to the overheating of the screen. My new S7 has never turned green but I also have never turned on the always on display feature either.

    The big question though, at the end of this tutorial you talked about Permissions. How about SCREEN OVERLAY? I have had trouble with Screen Overlay several times when I've downloaded an app and it bounced me back between Permissions and Screen Overlay. HELP!!! How is this fixed??? I cannot access certain downloaded apps due to this!!!!

    Hi Sakitech, First of all great video thanks. I just bought my Galaxy S7 edge yesterday. I am trying to set up everything by following your video. Now in edge panel in the task panel I see only one vertical line, that means I can set only maximum 5 tasks on that panel. On your video I see you can set 10 tasks on task panel. Could you please explain why this happens in my edge panel? Thanks

I like all your detailed tips and tricks reviews and your other videos too.
