This video was extremely helpful. We pay a lot of money for these devices. Why not learn all they have to offer to enhance our lives. I am loving my 7 Edge. Thank you so much for this well thought out and extensive video. It is well worth the time.
Just got my new S7 Edge and looked thru different videos to get going with my new phone. This is by far the most informative and detailed video out there if you own an S7 Edge. Congrats!
I just ordered my Samsung S7 edge with the free VR gear, can't wait to lay with my new phone! My first Samsung!!! I had to get away from the iPhone!! Going to be watching this video when my phone comes! thanks so much!! I'm going to need lots of help from going from iPhone to Samsung! Lol..
+Denise Long Shiflett welcome to samsungs, where you have multiple ways to do the same thing I loooove options. so many more options and freedom of choice that apple products don't allow you. congrats but get ready for a huge learning curve don't get frustrated and give up galaxies are worth it.
+kelli-anne hawkins thanks, it was a bit confusing the first day or so, but I know pretty much all the basics of the phone, it's so hard cause like I said with only having apple products, which I'm on my iPad Air now lol...it's easier for me to see on my iPad Air then my phone do you know of a good screen protector for the Samsung s7 edge? I bought one, it wasn't a cheap one, and it doesn't even hardly stick, the edges come up. I am loving my new phone! Very happy with it :) now I'm just waiting for my VR gear to come!!! Hope u have a great day!!!! If I have any questions about my phone can I ask you questions? :) thanks again.
+Kittencuddler i am new to s7 edge as well but ask away you never know what people know and i love looking into the phones weeks before i get them though i have been a Samsung girl since the first one. i did skip the s6 version as they took away waterproofing microsd card slot and replaceable battery. but have had to give in with the edge as my s5 died. any treated glass protector that covers the whole edge will help but must say 9H Hardness. anything less will scratch or break easier but remember they are what you want to break instead of the phone display.. email me @ bigmuddy11@hotmail.com if you want to chat about the lovely world of galaxies
This video is amazing it helped me so much as a new android user I've never had a galaxy and I got the galaxy s7 edge and now I know everything about thank you so much
Just got this phone as a replacement for my S6 which would no longer hold a charge. Had no idea it has a built in flashlight. Thank you for this very helpful tutorial!
Awesome awesome AWESOME video! I've been considering swapping to the S7 edge from my iPhone 6 annnnnd this made my decision to do so crystal clear! Thank you
Better than any other educational video out there. Thank's so much for taking the time to do this. I've saved it for future reference as I'm getting the s7 edge in the next couple of days...
This was very helpful, thanks so much! Going from pure android Moto X 2014 to my first Galaxy I was over whelmed with all I had to learn and this really taught me a lot of useful things, I highly recommend watching.
I don't think thank you would be enough! I greatly appreciate for your thoughtfulness for taking a great amount of times out of your day to film and uploaded this extremely informative video. One of the best, two thumbs up.
This is the most comprehensive video I have seen so far and I really appreciate the time and effort you put into it!! I learnt so much about my phone that I had no idea about!! Thank you
Hey Sakitech, I love your video about my soon to have Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. You are in my eyes one of the best people that explain the phone settings. You're precision and without any stuttering or mistakes. You are very good to hear and follow (even when you are Dutch) ; ) The phone is good to see,the lightning is perfect and we can see perfectly how you go on about changing the settings on the phone. Thank you and keep being a good example for everyone what want to share information on RUclips. Love you keep making the video's
@sakitech Great informative video, as always. I have one question though, how do you change the settings menu to show different tabs? Mine has everything on the same scrollable 'page'...
+Cachicochip That used to be an option, but some carriers lock that option. I am locked into the "Tab View" by AT&T. You are probably locked into a "List View" by your carrier.
I will just gеt myy iPhоnе 7 hеrе twitter.com/3ab9dd18642e870fb/status/790428760050798592 foоor frееее :) 50 Tiрs and Тricks fоr Sаmsung Gаlаaааxу S7 Edgее
woow s7 edge is very awesome i like ma phone specially the always on display features, which gives information about date, time and battery percentages it makes my life easy because no need of taping the home key or the power key to see time, date etc... thankyou so much for this video
I see you have the AT&T version of the Galaxy S7. The T-Mobile version of this device does not have the Touch Key Light Duration setting. Also the option to change the backgrounds for the icon is disabled on the T-Mobile version. The settings menu is in a list view, no swiping left and right to get to different titles like Personal, and Device. Just a list view.
@sakitech Very good video,, man i have a question.. about samsung pay, i just bought samsung s7, but i can't find the samsung pay aplication.. can u help me ?
I absolutely love this phone! It's so vibrant! I cracked my S9 + and I'm currently having it repaired. I picked up this phone for $160 in flawless condition! I will more than likely keep it as an emergency back up because I borrowed an iPhone and it sucks big time!
This is my second S7 due to my first one going "all green screen of death" and since I had just purchased it, AT&T immediately replaced it with a brand new one. One thing I wanted to comment on is the "always on display". Now keep in mind that I am by no means any kind of expert on Samsung phones or phones by any other manufacturer. This is just from my personal experience. The battery may not "drain" from using the always on display but the screen will get hot. Once this happens, green lines will appear on the screen followed by the entire screen turning green. On advice from another S7 user, I placed my phone into the freezer for 20 minutes. At which time I was able to get back into my phone only to start deleting photos, texts, etc... Anything that I didn't want on the phone when I returned it. Now I did have to place it into the freezer 5 to 7 times in order to retrieve all of my stuff due to the overheating of the screen. My new S7 has never turned green but I also have never turned on the always on display feature either.
This was great, learned a few news features that I will use. The big question though, at the end of this tutorial you talked about Permissions. How about SCREEN OVERLAY? I have had trouble with Screen Overlay several times when I've downloaded an app and it bounced me back between Permissions and Screen Overlay. HELP!!! How is this fixed??? I cannot access certain downloaded apps due to this!!!!
Hi Sakitech, First of all great video thanks. I just bought my Galaxy S7 edge yesterday. I am trying to set up everything by following your video. Now in edge panel in the task panel I see only one vertical line, that means I can set only maximum 5 tasks on that panel. On your video I see you can set 10 tasks on task panel. Could you please explain why this happens in my edge panel? Thanks
The color on the people edge doesn't work anymore, right? A reply would be highly appreciated. Great video by the way, it helped me to upgrade my life🐼👍
Awesome video!! I learned so much about my S7Edge🖒 One question..Do you by any chance know how to disable the S Healt app on my Gear S2 ? I have disabled all the app notifications in the Gear app on my 7Edge but I still receive al lot of notifications on my Gear. For example,...when I am a day of from work and chilling out on my couch, it repeatataly tells me I should get up and start moving. Really annoying 😠
Hello, :) thank you from you awesome tips! :D I have a great doubt, my settings are in a gigantic list, how do you put them as you have them in separate tabs? Thank you in advance.
thanks Sir for your review , but if you allow me , i want your advice about choosing between the two devices "Samsung Note 5 " and "Samsung S7 Edge " , i do need a high quality Camera like what exist in the "S7 Edge" meanwhile i do need the S pen like what exist in "Note 5"
Got this phone today and it's really awesome but watching this video made me realise i don't really "need" it. It does way more stuff than i need it to do!
@sakitech great detailed tips and tricks review like always. just a small thing about the Always on Display. At MWC samsung claimed that drains 0.8%/1 hour and in real life usage the Always on Display drains 1%/ 1 hour and not 1%/day. I like all your detailed tips and tricks reviews and your other videos too.
I don't have everything you have in your settings. For example, you have more options on the display option. How do you have your settings in a list appearance?
awesome video... quick question: is there a way to get my gmail to show a notification of new email on the Always On Display screen? I see an envelope appear when a new text arrives, but I want to know when a new gmail arrives?? thanks

Hi Saki. The least I can do is to commend you for your videos on tricks and tips for gadgets. Well done again buddy.
I see you have the AT&T version of the Galaxy S7. The T-Mobile version of this device does not have the Touch Key Light Duration setting. Also the option to change the backgrounds for the icon is disabled on the T-Mobile version. +Beddamade You can download an app called "Galaxy Button Lights" which allows you to use this feature.

I don't have everything you have in your settings. For example, you have more options on the display option. How do you have your settings in a list appearance?
very nice information.
awesome video... quick question: is there a way to get my gmail to show a notification of new email on the Always On Display screen? I see an envelope appear when a new text arrives, but I want to know when a new gmail arrives??
thanks
for what I know you can only see calls and messages on the always on display but on the note 7 they do have it hopefully they add it in an update
I enjoy watching your in depth vlogs and especially as your voice does not grate
