I followed the step by step instructions, but I don't have option 1, the encrypt backup data. Am I doing something wrong?

In order to use utilize it you have to be signed in to your Samsung account. My phone seems to work just fine WITHOUT it doing that.
Will you be able to get your data copied to a new phone with these settings on?

You can with Apple, so I would assume it would work with Samsung too, but not confirmed.

I had it on on my S9 Ultra tablet and it showed as on, on my A53 phone. Both devices were shown, so I'm not sure if the same code works for both devices. Also, at least on the A53 phone I didn't get a code at all for the synchronised data option. It also only showed one device. So maybe it's a bit different on older models. On my phone, I have only one option to change the restore code, if I've lost it somehow.
I have a Mcafee subscription on all my electronics, which encrypt's my vpn and much more. 🇺🇸

It all depends on the legislation in your country. In my case, Romania, the European Union. I have S22 with both options. But we don't have Good Lock because of Samsung.... And we don't have romanian language for AI because of... Samsung 😂

When I tap enhanced security data I only get the enhanced synced data and not the other tab.
What about samsung wallet and pass?

I have an older phone. Do not have this. My phone is working great and I don't want to upgrade since I'm able to have extra storage on a SD card.
I only have encrypt sunced data. I don't have the backup one on my S23 Ultra

Hi there, all I can see is security and privacy, after that there is nothing on MORE SECURITY SETTINGS.
Second option not found on my s23 ultra. These reviewers explain this as if these functions are on all galaxy phones...'taint so; same for some updates and I update daily--speaking of which I pulled a Google system update yesterday @68 MB saying Sept. 1.
