This video is AMAZING, I saw the first part last night and I'm going to binge all your videos. Your energy and what you say makes so much sense. I want to be you! I want to have that self-respect and be able to set those boundaries with people and also with myself. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!!
THANK YOU RIMA! I discovered your first video last night and immediately decided to take myself on a solo date to the movies to see Wicked for the 2nd time this morning. I am 32 and have NEVER gone to a theater by myself. It was exhilarating. You have a new follower and I'm gonna watch your other videos. I need one on how to connect to my inner child.
I love your explanations around decentering men, ESPECIALLY bc you're in a healthy relationship. Soo much content around this is single 20-somethings talking about not hooking up but it's much deeper than that and you hit the nail on the head when you said it's more about centering yourself ❤
I LOVE this video. I've been watching a lot of videos around the idea of decentering men, and a lot of them are based in how men are trash and they only look out for their own needs, which I respect and feel for those who're experiencing those men. But my man is so loving and supportive and respectful of my boundaries and would 100% support me centering myself. It's really awesome to hear someone's experience decentering men while still maintaining that relationship. Like, I'm recognizing that I am putting myself in this box, and I need to pull myself out of it and my man will happily cheer me on.
EXACTLY!!! sometimes things feel SO scary for us, that we try to shift blame onto other people so that we convince ourselves that change is not in our hands. love this reflection so much. also everything in dating and love changed for me when i stopped believing men were trash 🫣
Wow, didn't search for this yet it found me anyways... at the perfect time. I'm so codependent, it's crazy! I totally enmesh myself in other people especially my partner. I can't wait to work on this, thank you for the inspiration.
Gosh. I cried watching you well up talking about your dad and that spotting analogy :( it is so true and it totally makes sense. I’ve never thought about it that way and credited only myself for this hyper- independence when in fact I do subconsciously rely on my dad when things go south. The ultimate problem solver for real. Thanks for this Rima! Not just this particular part but the rest of it too. You’re wonderful, keep going
girl thank you SO MUCH!!! I don't usually comment on youtube so this is really special :) but I just wanted to say that your videos helped me immensely and this truly came at the right time for me. I feel like we are similar in many aspects, I would love to have you as my friend :) please keep using your gift and listen to your calling, you are helping so many people. Greetings from Romania!! ❤❤
this came on my recommendations and im so glad I watched it ✨. it’s such a good reminder to prioritize yourself. im Latina so from a very young age we were taught to center men in a relationship. so it’s been a struggle trying to change that pattern. and it definitely comes with guilt when I choose myself haha. But you’re so right. When you’re prioritizing yourself then you have the ability to be fully present for your man.
i relate to this so much! definitely how we were conditioned to be as well and so proud of BOTH OF US for disrupting the pattern 😍 so happy this video found you and that it resonated with you so much 🤍🫶🏼
I love the way you speak. There is a spiritual tone to your videos that strikes a chord in me. You are inspiring. I hope to find my inner child again someday because I miss her so badly. Thank you for sharing yourself.
thank you so much! this is such a beautiful compliment 🤍🫶🏼🫂 i hope you try something today or tomorrow to tap into her! the book “the artists way” really helped with this!
this was SO refreshing. i adore the way you articulate yourself and make us viewers feel like you genuinely want better for us. wishing you happiness and health gorgeous 💛
My next goals are to be uncomfortable and have my driver license and finally drive a car plus taking swimming lessons because i'm so sick every summer when we go to the beach i don't go farther than where the children play
Thank you so much, I really have being going thru this your videos helped me gain some clarity on what was going on and why...Thank you so much again! So excited for your future content!♥♥♥ Love the Tough love💓
