@@SafeDriveSolutions I would ask them for adding, if you agree with me: 1. Human detection in parking mode, and highlight such videos of human detection just like impact videos highlight. 2. When showing thumbnails of videos, always include thumbnail picture of the object triggered motion in related record time, so it will be easy to choose what video to look at when you have hundreds of small files with same thumbnails. 3. Lowering battery consumption during parking mode 4. Introducing some app player that can launch all frontal ear\inner videos in one timeline that we can scroll up and down to seek for relevant happenings
@@Nadavgu all these AI motion detection cameras have tons of problems. A lot of them do not even record motion. Because it determines that it is not important. Which I have proven on lots of my videos. 2. is a good idea but not sure if that is something they can do. 3. we have been asking for this. 4. not a bad idea. It may be a limitation of all the different sized smartphones. Not sure.
We recommend people set it for 3 hours without a battery pack. We find most people will get a consistent 3 hours. But some vehicles have bigger batteries and some people do drive way more than average person.
@@SamuriWarrior well if you drive a lot and your alternator is great your battery will stay topped off at a higher voltage. I drive like 40,000km a year while some people are lucky to push 5,000km. If you have a good healthy charge on your battery you could safely run it for longer periods of parking mode. Keep in mind if you drive a lot but always have the AC cranked and your car stereo cranked really loud and well etc. etc. it can also effect performance.
I think they need to introduce some new lifestyle solutions that customers are after. Maintain video quality. Bring up stability, Impact detection like Thinkware and Vueroid would be great. Vantrue, red tiger, and others have it but they take too long to wake up after impact. They need to compete with other brands
records the whole time. provided your battery is strong enough to keep it awake all night. Most vehicles are good for approx 3 hours on a consistent basis. For longer periods of recording while parked we recommend a battery pack
I wish they could send an update that notify the user if there was any iimpact detected.
So in 1 month I will meet Viofo face to face. Should be a great opportunity to bring up what people are asking for. 😊
@@SafeDriveSolutions Thank you for everything you’ve done!

@@SafeDriveSolutions it would be great if you will ask them some of my suugestion, as for 4 it can be also some player for pc
What wouls be the expected current draw in this mode for the 329 ? Is it still around 300mA ?
230ma 1 channel / 350ma / 2 channel
How long do you think the Viofo A229 Pro would last recording in Low BitRate mode before the battery gets to low and it stops recording?

@@SafeDriveSolutionshow does driving a lot more affect the battery during parking mode?

Do you think Viofo should add "Ultra Low Current Parking Mode" like Thinkware, and Vueroid?
And how should they do it?
Radar?
Impact Only?
Other?

I'm a wee bit lost, does this only record at impact then? My car was vandalised 3 times a night, I need something that does 24h but on a budget..
