Balance is fine yeah, I had a holy priest just heal like a champ in my +8 dawnbreaker, the bottom tier specs are definitely playable, and if your class has 1 bad spec odds say you can probably play a different spec on the same roll, like mage or hunter. And I as a ret (granted, I don't have a crafted weapon) get blasted even in aoe damage against DH, enhance or moonkins.

The whole point of having pure damage classes is to have the option to choose between specs to play as BIG damage. What kind of game is this when the game’s pure damage classes don’t do any damage? BM Hunter and Fire Mages are rock bottom. Where, Fire mage is one of the hardest specs to play. Thus, they are not rewarding difficult game play with better damage profiles. The BIG 4 (Hunters, Mages, Rogues, Warlocks) damage classes are more like BIG loser classes. They are harder to level, longer to queue for groups and don’t offer more utility than the Hybrids. Take Pally for example. The Paladin class is superior to the Rogue class. It can tank, heal and outperform the Rogue class at what it does best. This is crazy. (I'm not really hating on Paladins or any other class. Sorry if it comes across that way.) I don't understand why pure damage classes should do less damage.

We have already been passed up heavily by Frost DK, Enhance Shaman, Unhoky DK, even Havoc (my other main spec) with the 4 set is better than fury with 4 set). In an analyst by trade and these were easy things to see coming. Blizzard had all of these numbers, they knew what the tier bonuses did for each class, they run their own SIMS and knew Fury had a bottom 2 4 set… and as someone who still hasn’t gotten a single drop from raid in clears because there are 4 classes on the token all of which get a significantly higher damage gain so get their pieces in higher priority… even a buff to the tier set wouldn’t justify it. I basically have to rely on my vault to get any sort of tier outside of the conversions which could take another month to get my 4 set completed because I don’t get brought to keys despite being good at the class. Warrior was my main from Vanilla through BFA, and I’ve been relegated to havoc. This was the first tier I’ve gotten to raid as Fury since BFA and I was so excited, more nerfs aren’t justified in the slightest. Normally they won’t keep touching specs once mythic comes out for at least a month. I havnt read up on these nerfs but this is disappointing to hear. It’s so rare for fury to be good in the first tier because they had always been so gear dependent. It felt so much fun playing fury even after the first two nerfs. The play style is amazing and fast paced, snd Havoc is not enjoyable to play in the slightest. The opener and rotation are so unnecessarily convoluted. Don’t get me wrong it’s a million times better than momentum build was, and I love engaging and fast paced game play… but with my autoimmune disorders messing with my joints more and more with each passing day all of the dashing around and VR twisting is literally becoming painful. Sorry got a bit carried away but this is annoying to read when people are literally being paid to balance classes. If a class/spec doesn’t bring useful utility it should do good damage no matter what. It doesn’t have to be topping the meters every tier… but it should never be bad or even mediocre if it brings nothing of value besides damage. So either give us some cool utility that is applicable in m+, or let us blast and be a damage bomb.

I think the best addition for balance druids is that every key (10+) has fortified. no longer is trash nuked before you completed dotting everything. Second is that the new hero talents make treants dot mobs with moonfire. So you simply drop treants every pack + 1x sunfire. its great
Glad I mained ret from the start, had a real good laugh at the start of the expansion when every tier list had ret dead last as DPS while as ret I was destroying all the meta classes in both single target and AoE. Also Feral druid is a giga pumper spec easily one of the best, it's just so many people who play them are bad but once you get one of the good players who knows how it's easily S tier.
Keep smoking the copium with the feral druids. They are garbage. The numbers do not lie. An equally skilled paladin with equal gear, will destroy a feral druid without blinking (by as much as 300k dps ). Bleeds are a poor DoT to try and balance (you tweak them a little, they become OP as hell, tweak them down and you get what the feral druid has been for the past 3 expacs) and your best finisher is a RNG screw that requires 8+ talent points to be viable. Just because you have a friend that uses GSE to pump out his numbers , does not mean your average feral is going to be godlike.

Rsham on m+ has an epic advantage with it's class tree abilities on top of having 3 healing cooldown that they can rotate. It shows that other healers should get more utility instead of just more numbers.
Running as blood with my buddy that mains DK feels great with two aboms and grips, amz x2, and it trivializes part of the last fight ara kara, and clearing tentacles on last boss GB.
I think it's important to look at a weighted distribution of healers. 76 out of the top 100 healer scores in M+ are shaman. In that same top 100 only 2 healers are monks, if you do top 50 its, 1. I don't get why people think MW is fine, it is struggle bussing hard in both raid and keys. It's one of three specs that were NEVER tested for the RWF.
What is the number of total run keys so far in the season compared to DF at the same point? I'm curious about how many people switched to the full solo experience.
The top mythic+ healer is almost never about the best dps/hps combo in the highest keys it’s normally a decent amount of healing/dps and utility based on the rest of the meta. Those below the bleeding edge usually also focus more on the easier healer. It looks like mistweaver/disc/pres all have better hps and dps than resto shaman but shaman has the best interrupt/great utility and it’s easier. Mistweaver has to be in melee, disc is just difficult especially in pugs, and pres has the stupid range issue they didn’t remove which is fine to work around but Aug is still a king in mythic plus and Pres doesn’t add much as a second (for shaman you get another excellent interrupt unlike Pres/Aug). Hopefully they actually look at what the issues are instead of nerfing things that aren’t the issue and buff holy paladin (mythic only) and resto Druid (more and accross the board because I don’t the 4% is going to do it). Holy priest is on par with resto sham in mythic regarding similar dps/hps, it is also easy (actually easier in pugs that won’t stay together for spirit link etc). However, blizzard decided to design these dungeons so an interrupt is necessary while also refusing to give healing priests an interrupt. Also side note… blood dk usually isn’t on the bleeding edge because they still get crushed when you get up to a certain level and it looks like that still might be the case now.
100% this. I main Aug but my 2nd toon is holy priest and my duo partner mains resto sham. We are only 2.3k io but the ease of a healer and/or the utility offered (like a kick, etc) is so much more beneficial in that key range.
It might be me but all i am geting are Mists and Boralus keyes, i woud love to get something new but somehow i cant, I dont think that all keye have the same chance to be generated and that affect "popularity" of dungeons
The underrated thing with M+ dps in the pug world is classes that always have consistent damage rather than playing around big burst. I main warlock and I play demo in pugs because it just ALWAYS has damage every pack, every boss, every mechanic. A top level team will play affliction but it’s awful to play around that damage profile in pugs. That’s why shaman, hunter, DK pugs are great whereas arcane mages are usually garbage etc…

How did Fury war get an early pre 4 set nerf, now people have their tier sets and Fury is lagging behind which was expected. As an analyst I called this from a mile away... the fury 2 and 4 set are garbage and the nerfs before seeing how people performed with the tier... Fury War was good pre set because it balanced out post set...but the nerf was pre mature and a knee jerk reaction to some heroic week raid bosses... especially given its lack of utility. How does the battle hungry frothing berserker charging into battle ahead of all not given the ability called BLOODLUST. At least something. No brez like DK, no (insert every utility in the game) like Mage and rogue, no off heals or immunity... all they bring is DAMAGE, so when your damage is below spcs with far more utility you will never be taken.
Not really gotta consider how easy the class is also. Warr and Ret are just brain dead smash button and get 90 parse class.. it seems pretty fair considering most warriors actually deal the same consistent dmg I very rarely see bad warr, or ret while having a bad aug, or mage is so obvious it's painful

the 4% aoe dmg increase to BM fixed everything. we're actually at the top of the meters now.

Check the vdh's in the top of RiO, they're going havoc. Things are not looking too bright for the 12+ range.

Trueee, why i play frost mage. The damage isnt really that different besides ST than arcane. Also Havoc dh is kinda sleeper i think for pugs
