It would be really cool if you could set tasks for your alts to do in your house while you're not playing them. For example, I could have one tending a garden and I could see him doing that while I play on my main. Even if it provides no reward and is just for looks it would still be pretty cool.

If they are working on accelerating ground mounts to 400% speed that, to me, says they could be slowly edging towards a world upscaling and an increase in the scale of the zones. Very excited for all the new stuff coming. See you in game friends!
I hope for the new goblin zone they put in a goblin player exclusive quest where they pick up on the storyline that we haven't seen since the goblin starting zone from Cataclysm where your goblin character was next in line to be the Bilgewater Trade Prince, then Thrall made Gallywix the trade prince after he spent two zones trying to kill you.
It was obvious as broad daylight if people didn't like the delves that much, they'd completely stop adding content for it and just roll with the standard content. They stole the idea for companions from ESO but completely missed their point, someone to assist you in the open world, not just delves.
I desperately want class specific quests again. I want to FEEL like a Paladin reinforcing the Order, fighting for justice. I want to FEEL like a Hunter, trapping and training exotic beasts and being a part of a unique class. A Rogue a part of a shadow organization (bring back pickpocketing and stuff). A Druid healing a grove. A Mage uncovering Arcane mysteries and weaving a new path to stronger magic. You get the idea. Legion weapons, unique armor sets, the whole thing.
That's part of an RPG, which means it can't happen in WoW. It was little more than a facade even when it was actually happening. You should've known that wasn't really what WoW is while you were playing it.
Legion was my favourite expansion. I will play the HELL out of Legion Remix. But I'm actually going to be disappointed if we get Legion Remix instead of Warlords of Draenor Remix. I get it, I'm sick, I'm wrong in the head, but I was really hoping for WoD to get it next! The content in WoD was GOOD, there just wasn't anywhere near enough of it, and everyone just ended up raid logging into their garrisons. Giving it the Remix treatment seems like the ideal way to revisit it - and re-casting it in a positive light seems like a very smart idea, seeing as we're creeping up to the edge of a hypothetical WoD classic now.
If its the last we ever see of such stuff for a while iam good with it. Goblin aesthetics arent really my vibe/jam and arguably dont scream ''warcraft''.
To be fair lorewise that makes no sense, the class orders were formed to fight the legion, evokers and dracthyrs were asleep at the time, unless bizzard creates a new class order having something to do with the dragons and elaborates on wth they were up to during legion (besides Ysera), that would be a cool way to expand the legion lore and include the dracthyr in the class hall feature. Either that or the evokers class hall has something to do with the infinite dragonflight, and helping keep the timelines stable.

Player Housing idea: Why not make it so that the new load in screen can show your characters either in the house sitting by a fireplace or outside by a campfire etc. It would be nice to be able to show off your player customized home on your loading screen with your customized characters. Or even your toons animated so they are getting up for a drink, sitting down and stoking the fire etc. Think about it blizz! I mean after all we do have AI now.

This is one of the main reasons ill be doing legion remix on a pally, death knight, druid, warrior, and pretty much every melee class that i tend to play.
I would absolutely adore if they gave us the chance to earn them once again , shaman and Druid feel bad without them and I never had enough time for certain classes

I'm kind of hoping that one of the locations you get for player housing (assuming you can unlock multiple places throughout the world) would be Exile's Reach. I think it would be awesome to come full circle from being the new player tutorial zone into where you can put your feet up at the end of your adventure. I'm hoping we get themed areas for every expansion.
I'm hoping we get what if I remember right was originally promised for garrisons: to be able to choose different architectural styles. I always wanted to be able to make my garrison use night elf buildings, not just the human ones. Or I could see it being like ESO where the different houses you can buy are already pre-built structures and you just decorate the insides.
@@WadeAllen001 well in ESO they also have huge empty properties which you can then build your house in from scratch. There's various wall/roof/door/window etc elements you can buy or craft to build the house from.
@@WadeAllen001 That I'd like as well. Bare minimum the 8 vanilla races should have their own styles there at launch. Would like Goblins, Worgens, Draenei and Blood Elves as well but I feel like they might get held back and released later on in a big batch. Pandaren and Dracyhyr will probably come much later too. Allied races will probably have their styles wind up in the cash shop. I know blizzard is gonna monetize the system eventually and I honestly think I could live with it if it's only the allied races it happens to. My only caveat with monetization is I want absolutely zero pre-order or deluxe edition only housing styles.
Are they restoring the MASSIVE losses from the guild bank missing items? It is incalculable how much damage was done and loss occurred to this bug. Too much in fact that they have no choice but to ignore it, brush it under the rug, and hope word doesn't spread about how incompetent they are are data management... But hey, Warcraft 30 years, yay!
It’s frustrating to see the empty guild bank knowing others have got their guild bank restored. Blizz tells you oh well to bad so sad we can’t fix your problem.
Player housing should have a mounts stable, allow us to have our battle pets as pets inside our house, our warband should be NPCs in the house and the house has to be designable, not just a room you can put objects in, I want to decide where my rooms go.
Dynamic ground mounts in the future should be interesting for Rider of the Apocalypse DK's. Chasing down targets like that would be pretty fun in warmode.
I have been hoping for Legion remix. I never liked MOP but I know it was largely many peoples favorite. But I am going to be living Legion remix for a while.
Me too, I really enjoyed pandaria remix because of the new abilities and being able to collect the xmogs. The problem is i wasnt generally a huge fan of the pandaria transmogs. I kept thinking, "you know what would make this absolutely perfect? If this was legion remix!" I've always thought legion had some of the best areas and definitely had the best transmogs.
My favorite atmospheres as far as expansions go were Legion, BFA, and parts of WoD. I like TWW Hallowfall somrwhat and Dornugal but aint a big fan of the spider zone or the rolling deeps. Hopefully they eventually move us out of the underground this expansion.

i like how they applied the Breath of the wild Mantra to their traversal lately. They were like "we created this huge massive world, why don't we make it fun to move around in it?" this has been such a fresh breath of air for the game lately. Also on another note, drifting and customizable racing, will probably give way to Street racing gambling lmao. This is such a great thing for players to create their own emergent gameplay.

3:35 Mega-Dungeons are cool, but they should be significant locations (like the Return to Karazhan was) and not just thrown in for the lols like Tazavesh which was pretty much unrelated to the storyline of Shadowlands and on top of that was a location no one had ever heared about before. There should absolutely be future megadungeons, but only if it fits from a narrative point. The dungeons also shouldn't be necessarily tied to the M* rotation in my opinion.

@@austinspalding4745 Thank you taking the time to ask a genuine question, here is what I would like to see: - Fixed/territorial objectives in the world to compete over with associated zone benefits or other rewards (think plagueland towers, hellfire peninsula towers - etc) - Dynamic World event objectives (think airdrops - why not add a patroling faction based war party: Killing them gives rewards, protecting them gives rewards) - Revamping the faction leaders loot table to make them worth killing and starting wars over (Introduces a non-instanced, social aspect to the game that isn't mandatory but still has good rewards) - Revamping the honor level rewards that haven't been touched since legion (The highest reward is currently 500 honor level, I know people that are nearly 3k honor level) - Add acheivements and other chase rewards for all the above (Seeing some pretty cool customisable mounts from delves, maybe some customisable mounts for pvp related to the above) - Maybe add a way to earn old season elite gear (You can go and get mythic sets from old raids, why can't you earn old PvP sets? Add a "replica..." to the item name so people can tell the difference between OG's and mog collectors etc) That's all I can think of at the moment off the top of my head

Id give the faction leaders light raid boss mechanics and cosmetic drops personally, maybe a small pool shared between them for each faction and then a mount or specific cosmetic for each leader. I do miss the Eastern Kingdom towers or the Outland objectives on a bunch of the maps, and while i think battle for azeroth tried something like that a lot of that expansion was...non-comittal. to any of its ideas. I do remember that Warmode in bfa had airdrops, but i genuinely dont think they were any good. Ultimately, yeah thats fair. bellular I commented on one of your very early videos from back during warlords and it was about garrisons. I mentioned how I wish garrisons didn't come stock with the military army theme. Like for example blue and gold 7th legion style human architecture for alliance. Like how my druid would actually never own a lumber mill. I hope this is one of the things they get right with player housing. They better not all look like the hearthstone inn replicated in wow.
I just wished they didnt lock down to one zone. I was always jealous the alliances comfortable climate and woodsy atmosphere while i was stuck in the freezing snow.

About the green at the end of the road map, Legion expansion isnt the only green expansion. TBC is also green. Look at the latest Classic road map for 20th anniversary servers.
There isn't really that much content to do in TBC though. Not enough mounts either. Legion had So much to offer that it never ends. TBC, on the other hand, would end within like a week or two. And they can sell items like the Xavius shoulders for in-game currency like they did with the Garrosh shoulders. Makes more sense than TBC Remix.

Open world challenges sounds good, that's one of my biggest critiques of retail that outside of instanced content everything feels trivial. If they can solve that it would be huge for the game

I hope the revamped horrific visions don't have the vessel requirement again. I ended up not doing too many visions since you had to grind the currency to purchase the vessel every time you wanted to do one
Have they addressed the missing wrist transmog for the Halloween dungeon. Blizz just seems to not care enough if things are broken. Every time I logon I have to reset my edit mode as action bars are on the top of the screen
Funny you say you like mining or herbing with dynamic flight when I much prefer it with normal flight. Dynamic flight is what I use when I want to get somewhere fast but when I want to land exactly where I want to when I want to with no problems I use normal.
I'm looking forward to most of these features. Undermine, more Haranir stuff, and Player Housing are confirmed, but Legion Remix is still speculation. But I'd still love it! Legion is my favorite WoW expansion of all time (despite the problems with RNG and mythic dungeons)!
But there already is early access to player housing. All you have to do is spend $90 and you get your very own house, but not just any house, an auction house.
It would be extremely amazing if they tied player housing to the story line, something like we've been given land options in all territories due to our being the "champion" of Azeroth.
In ESO you can earn one particular house by doing the main story campaign in the Elsweyr zone. You can then expand the house by doing some additional side quests/achievements. Of course there's plenty houses you can just buy with gold.
I’m a disabled gamer and I’ve been playing WoW with one finger since Cataclysm I can never raid but I do ok, I hate Dragonriding as I can’t physically do it but I love the mount. I know already there is absolutely no way I will be able to drive the car based on Dragonriding. The only way I could do it is if it was like when you walk in game
WOW has always had a reward system problem. It really hurt subs for awhile and cost them. How you set the rewards determines if players play the game. Nobody (or very few) will commit a large amount of free time for small rewards (and you shouldn't ask players to). They also have a random number generator problem- pants five times in a row is not random! Twenty years on now.... maybe some of these things could be addressed.
I know that people play this game a lot more than me, I'm an adult with a job, I get it, I do, but damn, I do play it a pretty good amount and I haven't even earned exalted yet with any faction...and now all this is coming...yikes. And if this remix is anything like the last there's no way to pull yourself away from it because they just give stuff away....and worst yet, I missed out on a lot of that expansion so I definitely will be nose deep in it. The new peeps running the show are crazy, that's all I have to say...crazy. I would say this though, I didn't catch you talking about Plunder, maybe I missed it, but if they don't reward better for where you finish this time I might just skip that.

As excited as i am that housing got announced, this is Blizz. I fully expect guiding to suck somehow, either by restricting it you specific areas within cities,it being instanced neighborhoods, or having little customization outside of the decorations
Well it's be stupid for them to let us build houses anywhere. Too many trolls would put them in places just to frustrate others. And I fully expect it to be instanced or have very heavy restrictions on where we can build.

Delve rewards need to be way more targeted. The current delve gear pool is so massive, it can take months to get a specific trinket you want.
Or even worse, banking on getting a non-Trinket reward at any point.

I think it would be awesome to come full circle from being the new player tutorial zone into where you can put your feet up at the end of your adventure. I'm hoping we get themed areas for every expansion.
I'm hoping we get what if I remember right was originally promised for garrisons: to be able to choose different architectural styles. I always wanted to be able to make my garrison use night elf buildings, not just the human ones. Or I could see it being like ESO where the different houses you can buy are already pre-built structures and you just decorate the insides.
@@WadeAllen001 well in ESO they also have huge empty properties which you can then build your house in from scratch. There's various wall/roof/door/window etc elements you can buy or craft to build the house from.
@@WadeAllen001 That I'd like as well. Bare minimum the 8 vanilla races should have their own styles there at launch. Would like Goblins, Worgens, Draenei and Blood Elves as well but I feel like they might get held back and released later on in a big batch. Pandaren and Dracyhyr will probably come much later too.
Allied races will probably have their styles wind up in the cash shop. I know blizzard is gonna monetize the system eventually and I honestly think I could live with it if it's only the allied races it happens to.
My only caveat with monetization is I want absolutely zero pre-order or deluxe edition only housing styles.

Are they restoring the MASSIVE losses from the guild bank missing items? It is incalculable how much damage was done and loss occurred to this bug. Too much in fact that they have no choice but to ignore it, brush it under the rug, and hope word doesn't spread about how incompetent they are are data management... But hey, Warcraft 30 years, yay!
It’s frustrating to see the empty guild bank knowing others have got their guild bank restored. Blizz tells you oh well to bad so sad we can’t fix your problem.

Player housing should have a mounts stable, allow us to have our battle pets as pets inside our house, our warband should be NPCs in the house and the house has to be designable, not just a room you can put objects in, I want to decide where my rooms go.

Dynamic ground mounts in the future should be interesting for Rider of the Apocalypse DK's. Chasing down targets like that would be pretty fun in warmode.
I have been hoping for Legion remix. I never liked MOP but I know it was largely many peoples favorite. But I am going to be living Legion remix for a while.
Me too, I really enjoyed pandaria remix because of the new abilities and being able to collect the xmogs. The problem is i wasnt generally a huge fan of the pandaria transmogs. I kept thinking, "you know what would make this absolutely perfect? If this was legion remix!" I've always thought legion had some of the best areas and definitely had the best transmogs.
My favorite atmospheres as far as expansions go were Legion, BFA, and parts of WoD. I like TWW Hallowfall somrwhat and Dornugal but aint a big fan of the spider zone or the rolling deeps. Hopefully they eventually move us out of the underground this expansion.

Yeah it sounds like a rewards track system, aka "battle pass." Hopefully not a paid one, but given how many players bought the $90 mount, I don't know if Blizzard has a reason not to.

i like how they applied the Breath of the wild Mantra to their traversal lately. They were like "we created this huge massive world, why don't we make it fun to move around in it?" this has been such a fresh breath of air for the game lately.
Also on another note, drifting and customizable racing, will probably give way to Street racing gambling lmao. This is such a great thing for players to create their own emergent gameplay.
They should bring back Logging as a gathering skill and woodworking as a new profession to tie in with Player housing.
If they do the decorating of Player Housing like how it was done in Elder Scrolls Online, it would be amazing. I love decorating my home in ESO.

3:35 Mega-Dungeons are cool, but they should be significant locations (like the Return to Karazhan was) and not just thrown in for the lols like Tazavesh which was pretty much unrelated to the storyline of Shadowlands and on top of that was a location no one had ever heared about before.
There should absolutely be future megadungeons, but only if it fits from a narrative point. The dungeons also shouldn't be necessarily tied to the M* rotation in my opinion.

Im curious--what updates should come from pvp other than new maps. Maybe new battleground maps? But for arena im not sure what they could add other than new arenas. Is it balance changes?

- Fixed/territorial objectives in the world to compete over with associated zone benefits or other rewards (think plagueland towers, hellfire peninsula towers - etc)
- Dynamic World event objectives (think airdrops - why not add a patroling faction based war party: Killing them gives rewards, protecting them gives rewards)
- Revamping the faction leaders loot table to make them worth killing and starting wars over (Introduces a non-instanced, social aspect to the game that isn't mandatory but still has good rewards)
- Revamping the honor level rewards that haven't been touched since legion (The highest reward is currently 500 honor level, I know people that are nearly 3k honor level)
- Add acheivements and other chase rewards for all the above (Seeing some pretty cool customisable mounts from delves, maybe some customisable mounts for pvp related to the above)
- Maybe add a way to earn old season elite gear (You can go and get mythic sets from old raids, why can't you earn old PvP sets? Add a "replica..." to the item name so people can tell the difference between OG's and mog collectors etc)
That's all I can think of at the moment off the top of my head

Id give the faction leaders light raid boss mechanics and cosmetic drops personally, maybe a small pool shared between them for each faction and then a mount or specific cosmetic for each leader. I do miss the Eastern Kingdom towers or the Outland objectives on a bunch of the maps, and while i think battle for azeroth tried something like that a lot of that expansion was...non-comittal. to any of its ideas. I do remember that Warmode in bfa had airdrops, but i genuinely dont think they were any good.
Ultimately, yeah thats fair. They need to try all the things they tried in BFA again but with a shared continent and not half baking it this time!

bellular I commented on one of your very early videos from back during warlords and it was about garrisons. I mentioned how I wish garrisons didn't come stock with the military army theme. Like for example blue and gold 7th legion style human architecture for alliance. Like how my druid would actually never own a lumber mill. I hope this is one of the things they get right with player housing. They better not all look like the hearthstone inn replicated in wow.
I just wished they didnt lock down to one zone. I was always jealous the alliances comfortable climate and woodsy atmosphere while i was stuck in the freezing snow.

I never mine or herb with the dragon flying. The last thing I want is to run out of the jump because i have to descend everytime I see a mine
once you have the gather while mounted gathering gives you one vigor when you gather, but you have to still be mounted to get it
@SnowRevol54 didnt know that, i just remembered one of the skill options when choosing your flight skills in DF was to gain flight energy faster when mining ir herbing

About the green at the end of the road map, Legion expansion isnt the only green expansion. TBC is also green. Look at the latest Classic road map for 20th anniversary servers.
There isn't really that much content to do in TBC though. Not enough mounts either. Legion had So much to offer that it never ends. TBC, on the other hand, would end within like a week or two. And they can sell items like the Xavius shoulders for in-game currency like they did with the Garrosh shoulders. Makes more sense than TBC Remix.

Open world challenges sounds good, that's one of my biggest critiques of retail that outside of instanced content everything feels trivial. If they can solve that it would be huge for the game

Have they addressed the missing wrist transmog for the Halloween dungeon. Blizz just seems to not care enough if things are broken. Every time I logon I have to reset my edit mode as action bars are on the top of the screen

Funny you say you like mining or herbing with dynamic flight when I much prefer it with normal flight. Dynamic flight is what I use when I want to get somewhere fast but when I want to land exactly where I want to when I want to with no problems I use normal.
I just want Legion remix/classic be permanent. That's it. So you can always play the peak WOW.

I'm looking forward to most of these features. Undermine, more Haranir stuff, and Player Housing are confirmed, but Legion Remix is still speculation. But I'd still love it! Legion is my favorite WoW expansion of all time (despite the problems with RNG and mythic dungeons)!

In ESO you can earn one particular house by doing the main story campaign in the Elsweyr zone. You can then expand the house by doing some additional side quests/achievements. Of course there's plenty houses you can just buy with gold.

I’m a disabled gamer and I’ve been playing WoW with one finger since Cataclysm I can never raid but I do ok, I hate Dragonriding as I can’t physically do it but I love the mount. I know already there is absolutely no way I will be able to drive the car based on Dragonriding. The only way I could do it is if it was like when you walk in game

Player housing teaser felt like such pandering
WOW has always had a reward system problem. It really hurt subs for awhile and cost them. How you set the rewards determines if players play the game. Nobody (or very few) will commit a large amount of free time for small rewards (and you shouldn't ask players to). They also have a random number generator problem- pants five times in a row is not random! Twenty years on now.... maybe some of these things could be addressed.

I know that people play this game a lot more than me, I'm an adult with a job, I get it, I do, but damn, I do play it a pretty good amount and I haven't even earned exalted yet with any faction...and now all this is coming...yikes. And if this remix is anything like the last there's no way to pull yourself away from it because they just give stuff away....and worst yet, I missed out on a lot of that expansion so I definitely will be nose deep in it. The new peeps running the show are crazy, that's all I have to say...crazy. I would say this though, I didn't catch you talking about Plunder, maybe I missed it, but if they don't reward better for where you finish this time I might just skip that.

As excited as i am that housing got announced, this is Blizz. I fully expect guiding to suck somehow, either by restricting it you specific areas within cities,it being instanced neighborhoods, or having little customization outside of the decorations
Well it's be stupid for them to let us build houses anywhere. Too many trolls would put them in places just to frustrate others. And I fully expect it to be instanced or have very heavy restrictions on where we can build.

Or have pre-determined plots around the world that you can purchase of varying sizes akin to FF14, just without the shitty neighborhood restriction
