When you already experienced the smooth and stable flight with the Mavic Air 2’s Ocusync 2.0, you get much more excited for the new Air 2S with its Ocusync 3.0. Excited for mine to arrive!
My Air2s actually has less range than my Air2 does. Same flight conditions.

Great video, really well made, the only issue is the background Music is too loud (and very annoying specially with higher playback speed)
I was just going to make the same comment. Probably bought the sound bed loop and wanted to get full value for their money. lol (Video is excellent with the silly sound turned off and CC turned on. Much calmer.)
Saying goodbye to the Mavic name will be hard but saying hello to the upgrades will be exciting!!!

I agree the music is very distracting and spoils the voice over, in fact you miss a lot of important information, the music levels are far too high !
As a composer I couldn't agree more.....hearing the same four bars over and over again is maddening and, you're right, the levels are too loud.......... Sorry, just a musical opinion.
I like this video but it would be MUCH better if you eliminate the background music, it is very distracting.

I opened this video because I wanted to learn about My DJI A2S as I am a Pilot but have never flown drones. I needed to have a person explain and show things to me. If I wanted to listen to music I would turn the radio on not a video.
I was wondering how far away do you have to fly this drone to loose the sound of the insane music loop!
Is that possible to fly backward at active track mode? So that we can talk and walk forward while the drone is flying backward and tracking the subject- instead of tracking from behind.

Do we need to turn off the WiFi setting on the phone before flying and are there any other settings on the phone that should be turned off for flight?
This video has an extremely badly mixed soundtrack when at times it’s virtually impossible to hear the commentary as it is drowned out by the unnecessary mood music track. A remix is essential so as not to alienate possible future buyers.

@@SelfBio I think it's a rule for ALL drone videos. Regular volume speaking, then crank the gain for the free open source muzak track.
I thought Mavic Air 3 is no longer happening... But here we are with the DJI Air 2S. Probably not a total next generation upgrade but I still can't wait to experience the improvements and the new features on this drone.

I do not see a option to make the controller charge my phone can you please explain? I went in controls and tried looking, no this there
What none of these videos tell you is that Play Store no longer allows updates to the DJI Fly App in the store. So if you have the old Fly App it will not connect to the remote controller. You must delete it, go to the DJI website and download the Fly App from there then power up your RC and drone and follow the prompts to register your drone with Dji, then the app will update and allow the Air 2S to connect to the remote controller.

Is there a way to check the battery level of the remote control? The little circle at the top right of the Go Fly app shows the battery level of the battery, but I'm not sure how to check the remaining battery level of the remote control. Thanks.
Press the power button once quickly and the LEDs on the remote will indicate battery level.

Hi there, DJI Air 2S does not support the use of the DJI FPV Goggles series or the DJI Motion Controller, and there is currently no plan to add support for these devices. For further information, please pay attention to future firmware updates.
Guys in the combo box, do not charge all three of your batteries at the same time on first charge!!! Your batteries will not activate and you'll have exchange it!!!
you can just activate your batteries one by one against the base charger if this happens. Happened to me on my air 2 and I had to figure that out on my own but everything worked fine after.
Nope. I just bought the Air 2S combo and put all three on the charger - all charged in sequence as they should.
It would be easier to follow these setup instructions if the music levels were much lower so that one could hear what the narrator was saying. No music would be even better during the narrated sections. It would also be nice if the narrator's navigation instructions and the onscreen visuals matched up.
Will DJI bring the mastershots feature to the Air2?
Maybe, maybe not. This was designed to replace the Air 2, so you probably need to get the air 2s to get master shots. However, I guess it could be possible as it is just software mainly.
The sixth subtitle is ‘HOT to fly...’ but should be ‘HOW to fly...’ ;)

The Background music is not really in the background... hard to focus on the spoken instructions. Otherwise clear.

Why is my Air 2S not turning off? 1 short press followed by a long press/hold, right? I do that, it beeps (1 long beep and 2 short ones) and stays on. Turning the drone off seems to be based on luck or something? Because it rarely turns off when I want it to, so I just unplug the battery out of annoyance

How far does the drone have to be from you before it flies up to the RTH Altitude?
It will always go straight up even when it's within super close range. Just have to cancel RTH when it does that.

So do you have to remove the propellers every time you store it in the bag?
It’s that or get a custom case. It’s really cumbersome storing it in the bag with wings attached.
On 4:38 they're inserting it with the propellers
You can leave the props on, but (a) be careful not to bend them, and (b) be careful they don’t press the power button on top of the drone and power it up while it’s folded and the gimbal cover is on. (Very easy to do the latter.)
Who else spotted that the shot of the photo video rec button and the toggle button had the wrong audio description :-)

Please try to cool down the phone and try again. Please avoid the direct sunlight, use a controller monitor hood or stand in the shade. while flying. See if this helps.

Just got my Air 2S in the post and cant get the damn RC to connect, the drone and RC are both charged and the RC is connected to the phone. I've tried both ways of linking them and no luck... what the hell DJI??

@@rossnerdominik Hey mate, mine still wont work but that was a Samsung, I tried it with 2 iphones and both work! I noticed on the drone packaging it says "made for iphone" so maybe android users will struggle with it?
@@MrTrippy2k8 Dont think thats the reason. Linked flawlessly with my google pixel 3, and still works amazingly, so it definitely works on android.

Hi, there. Sorry to hear about the trouble you've encountered. Could you tell me the firmware version of the DJI Fly? Besides, please check what the app says. If the app said the aircraft disconnected, please try to relink the drone and RC, but if the app showed disconnected, that meant the app hadn't connected to the RC, try to reconnect by rebooting the app or plugging the cable again.
The voice over the video is way too low than music..

Get rid of the music and you have a rather good video. That was a real nuisance.
Music is way too loud... The important thing in the video is your descriptions, not the background music. I could barely hear your voice over the background music and together it just became muddy noise. Had to look elsewhere for a video which did not give me a headache.

@@DJITutorials thank you very much for the reply. I was able to install a APK file unpack app on my phone that allowed me to download the app from you guys directly. It is not in the play store for Samsung S8+. I flew yesterday and it was awesome. Thanks again for the reply, it means a lot.

That music is annoying and drowns out the commentary in part. I was interested in buying this drone but the quality of that video did NOT encourage me! If DJI can´t even make a decent introductary video, I have my doubts about their drones, too!
Important to note that the DJI Fly App is only supported on Flahship phones. So R25k for a phone + R30k for this drone fly more combo.
