But Phil who play video games for a living can't play anything by himself. He just sits and stare at the chat instead of fucking trying... How does he think other people play the game...
Does BG3 even have an official game guide you can buy? It would be nearly impossible to include all the possible ways a player could beat anything in the game. It's nearly as open ended as real dnd, so I guess if they can make rule and guide books for dnd, they should be able to make them for this...

Phil's leaning so hard on chat to carry him that he's falling out of his chair. 🤣
He literally read that the boss attacks the last person who damaged him IF ABLE yet wonders why it attacked another person...
This doods whole life consists of "wasting time", but he's complaining about "wasting time".
I'm planning on a BG3 stream way down the line.
I'm legit learning disabled. Before seeing this series my biggest fear would be flexing my room temp IQ for everyone to see.
After seeing a graduate struggle this much though my fears have been eased lol
He is so confused by literally everything he sees.
i would vote to kick him out of any gaming group i was in.
It’s impressive that Phil save scums in mid battle yet still struggle.
What’s even funnier is that this fight isn’t really hard. I had 2 people by the spawn area of the extra enemies while my tank was in the middle. My rogue character then switched in the machine and shot the level to slam the boss. Did this twice and won.
Each party member except for my main character, but I still won.
Without save scumming either.
@@milkinobamayeah one or 2 pulls its fine.
@@milkinobama This fight is honestly easy even without the hammer tbh.
@@rossstrickland1722 i fought that boss without realizing i could slam the hammer on him to kill him. I believe i tried it atleast once but i think i missed somehow. I sure would like you to explain to me how the boss is *easy* though if you arent using the gimmick, because it took prettyt much every resource and exploitation of the games mechanics i had to beat it by the skin of my teeth the bad way,
@@collenjets123 It's incredibly easy, much easier than trying to position him under the hammer. Just have a melee character with a bludgeoning weapon and use haste. He'll die in like 2 turns
" This is pissing me off " As if, he wasn't Irascible to begin with.
Chooses a wizard... doesn't wanna read books.
He's actually a sorcerer. Which is funny because it's the other major arcane class that doesn't have to study or read anything.
@@boswelldoddler5235 but the sorcerer relies on charisma..
@@IAmHumongous Phil has charisma. It's the charisma of a greasy used car salesman but it's there.
@@boswelldoddler5235 nah, CHA and INT are daves dumpstats
I would argue he still has a TYPE of charisma, as both deception and intimidation are charisma. And I would classify manipulative begging as being somewhere between those.
That’s so weird, I beat this boss the first time by going unga bunga on him with a pally and fighter with mauls and a monk. They were blessed and speed potted. Everyone survived the fight...
My first time against this boss, I had the worst possible match up. I had two warlocks, cleric, and wizard, and non of them had any bludgeoning weapons on then.Thankfully, my Tav had the warlock pact of blades, so I summoned a warhammer and bonked him until I realized what do do with the anvil.
50 hours........still on act 1.
I was on act 3 by that point and I was being slow.
Good lord this guy needs to studied, this level of incompetence is unprecedented.
Same. I'm in the later part of act three at a little over 50 hours, and I have a bad habit of leaving my desk with the game running in the background for hours while I do other things, so at least some of my playtime is bloated because of that.
I didn't have a chat to hold my hand and to basically every single decision for me...
And neither did thousands and thousands of other people...
But Phil who play video games for a living can't play anything by himself.
He just sits and stare at the chat instead of fucking trying... How does he think other people play the game...
He thinks people do what he used to do..have a guide on hand all the time.
Does BG3 even have an official game guide you can buy? It would be nearly impossible to include all the possible ways a player could beat anything in the game.
It's nearly as open ended as real dnd, so I guess if they can make rule and guide books for dnd, they should be able to make them for this...
Watching him not even think about trying to heal/revive all his downed teammates while he continues just missing attacks against Grym was so hard to watch 😭
"Pro gamer doesn't mean I play things at a high level"
What does he think professional means?
i genuinely wonder how many games dsp could complete if he was playing completely alone
he fails at childrens games without help so id say 2%
Probably just Street Fighter 2
@happycat4838
DSP could brute force at least few games.
That WWE Champions mobile game.
All Bethesda "RPGs" post Fallout: New Vegas, so how many is that exactly?
BG3 rewards thinking outside of the box to beat a boss like this one. But Phil's brain only thinks within a smaller box inside of the box...
Its super pathetic that he tried so hard to act like he didnt read a guide and just pretended to run fresh.
He doesn't "get" the encounter
Therefore it's the encounter that's stupid
Incredible
Guys remember he’s probably overall one of the best gamers in the country
The game is stupid and cryptic because Phil keeps walking into lava. Okay.
He should stick to Bethesda RPGs. They are right up his alley, no thought necessary in them.
@@JohnGraves1985As a life long fallout fan, I hate how right you are, lmao!
A puzzle boss!
I really want to see a "There was nothing I could do" montag
Glad to see Philbert has improved 0% since the very beginning with the harpy fight
😂 my exact thought. Literally zero growth since hour 1
Dsp is like a wow player being told dont stay in fire and he walks into fire and blame the tank
Man the hog got his bacon toasted Alabama style
I see we hit the hat goal and a sprinkle of gout
Porky is like that one kid from your school who is terrible at soccer, but has a fancy ball - and threatens to take it home when he gets his ass handed to him, so no-one else can play.
"This game gets more tedious the longer I play it." Imagine that. A game gets harder the further along you go? Who would've fucking thought? He really should just play every game on the easiest difficulty at this point.
I'm a professional gamer. I could pick any game up and play it to a professional level.
God he's insufferable
Examine the golem
*READ* that it becomes softens under lava and only be damaged by bludgeon attacks
Im honestly surprised he's still playing BG3 with how much he never misses a chance to complain about it.
Hes getting money so he cant drop it.
Wearing a ridiculous viking helmet, gunnar glasses, picking his nose, and begging his chat for help.
Amazing kahntent. He's a mature adult streamer d00d.
A grown man in a plastic viking hat bitterly complaining about an extremely popular and highly regarded video game that he's being paid to play. That's meaningful to me.
Phil plays games at a game journalist level
Piggy's idea of MEANINGFUL chat interaction is letting his dents play the game for him.
after trying the fight once, he literally knows what to do. Why does he play so stupid.
He has an obsession with appearing high IQ on stream. He clearly looked at a guide quickly for this boss but forgot certain aspects of it.
Doesn’t wanna take the time, perseverance or patience to learn by trial and error. But doesn’t wanna change the difficulty because it “won’t make the fight better” to get through it. Phil would be a flat earther if it wasn’t for his “business” perpetually keeping him inside the Snort Fort.
Good hes getting mad. I want him to drop BG3
That hat makes him look like a conehead
1:10 he called out what it was before it even appeared on the screen.
well spotted. he definitely looked it up or a dent told him
@selfawaredrew this entire playthru has been guided. He's barely even playing the game
He doesn't like video games.
Why when he says wtf over and over. All i hear is " i dont have a clue what im doing and i need you to help me because im an invalid."
It's so obvious he's looking up guides for everything and he still cant handle it lmao
One reason I don't buy games I don't understand. Phil buys games just to make himself feel relevant, regardless if he's good at it.
He didn’t buy BG3. A viewer gifted it to him just like Armored Core 6 was gifted to him
He doesn’t understand the concept of chance to hit.
This is how you don't play, this is how you don't life
I was waiting for this. God he struggled so hard with this whole thing. It took him about 10 minutes to even get the fight started and it required extreme hand holding.
His forst turn of combat was him staring at the screen for 5 minutes waiting for someone to tell him what to do....
DSP makes the easy look difficult, and the difficult look impossible.
Permanent wut-do-i-du lean
100+ hours of DOS2 + BG3 later, Felipe has proven this is the most difficult game ever made
Whats more likely, the developers made a game that has literally impossible parts or that Phil sucks at playing video games and is too lazy to even think?
It’s funny he blames the game for control issues I never had lol. Just walking into the lava again and again 😂
This fight really only needs 8-12 minutes but he can pick up any game and play it at a pro level and can’t even do this easy boss😂
Right! This fight took me 15 minutes, and I fucked up part of it and had to kill him without the hammer at the end. How is this fight taking him over an HOUR!?! Even with the handholding, he can't be bothered to learn even the simplest game mechanics. Can't jump, can't position his folks. I mean, this moron is playing a strategy game and pissed off you actually have to use STRATEGY to play!! But, what do I know compared to Pro Gamer Phil.
8-12 minutes? Shouldn't even take half that lol.
remember he loves his job 😂😂😂
Speed potions, hammers, monks
Gyrm dead in a couple turns without the hammer
WHY AM I TOXIC?!
He’s the antithesis of Ricky gervais while looking exactly alike
The Ricky Gervais at home:
@@unbearifiedbear1885 lmao
too many bright lights and loud noises, scares old man.
I can't wait for the TIHYDP for this to be 50 hours
My father is from Nigeria who just started playing BG3 with me
And when i showed him who DSP is he said
"Phil is forever cursed to be the Enemy of progress"
Took me one try to figure out how to fight Grym. Love how Phil is so terrified
It's like he doesn't understand what the words "if possible " means...
Holy Christ i was waiting for this. I just did this fight for the first time. I didn't even know you could use the forge hammer and still beat it in 2 rounds on tactician. It was the most fun I have ever had breaking a video game.
Of course Phil would hate it.
Dude im playing this game for the first time, in tactician, playing for like 2 weeks, 40h in and i just got into the shadow realm and last light inn, how is this dude still in the forge playing on normal? Truly a professional gamer
Lmao he knows what he’s supposed to do but he’s still too incompetent to perform the simplest task!
1. Just lead the robot onto platform.
2. Pull the lever and squish robot.
3. Lead robot back into lava.
4. Repeat.
turn the lava on make the thing walk on lava hit it again make it walk to the center use hammer turn lava off walk around, repeat ooooooooooooo so difficult ohmagashhh adamantite golem is a detractor 😩
He always manages to spin innocent advice and turn it into a passive-aggressive attack
“I won’t know, until i waste time trying.” Yeah, that’s a good life lesson actually.
