Where's the inside view during flyover!!!?? 🙄😳🤬🤬👎
At time code 4:47 the caption reads " A B-52 accompanied by two B-1Bs aims to reach fly-over..." They're Showing a B-52 Buff, A B-1B Lancer, and a B-2 Spirit bomber. Just a little oops there.
0:54 Cold beers?
What does a DHC-6 have to do with a B1 flyover? Or an AC130?
The problem with flying the B-1B is that you'll spend most of your career in Rapid City, SD.
I loved living in Rapid City, but there was a rather toxic culture that developed in the 28th BW that has recently been highlighted in the report that came out of the recent mishap there. Nothing in that report surprised me after my time there, but that should not take away from the fact that the B-1 is an awesome aircraft and was in some ways the CAS platform best suited for the war in Afghanistan, where it performed magnificently, which is impressive because CAS was not really probably given much thought if any in its original design.
Hoa Kỳ Rất Tuyệt vời lắm 🎉❤❤❤
I hope the Met don't run short of those lovely shiny bracelets they appear to be handing out. :)
How much does it cost to operate these beautiful aircraft ?
That is an incredibly expensive flyover

Just know that B-1B's do carry external munitions from time to time...
Now that wasn't much "Inside view" of a B-1.
True enough, but us poor unwashed slobs don’t have a “need to know” 😂
What’s in the cooler?

I thought the Bone had 5 operators?…..Did it change at some point?
All I know is that the Air Force page on it says a crew of 4.
I have a book/magazine and it shows a crew of five. It looks like a lot of room in cockpit including bathroom and microwave etc. Not like a big room but lots of space. There are videos of the Bone going inverted and it must be a hoot for the crew in back. And finally supposedly the ejection device ejects the whole crew area. Crazy!
@@wattsmichaele It has always had a crew of 4. They used to occasionally carry an additional check pilot or other extra person back in the day, but stopped because they only have 4 ejection seats, and they had an accident where that resulted in a fatality. There is not nearly as much room inside as you might think. Just the 4 seats, and a short corridor between where the 2 pilots sit and where the 2 Combat Systems Officers sit. There is a small latrine, and some space for food storage/prep, but not much. The ejection capsule you mentioned was for the B-1A, which never entered service. The redesigned B-1b that flies today has 4 traditional ejection seats. B-1s are not really stressed or cleared for aerobatic type maneuvers, although they have been rolled before. That isn't authorized under normal circumstances though. They are a super cool airplane though, and I mostly enjoyed my time working with them at the 28th Bomb Wing (aside from some toxic culture issues at that base, but that's another matter).
I think no one in this liev won't go to the hospital in city...
Mosul I mmm??? 🤔🤔🤔

COME ON MAN well if a f35 cost 39 thousand per hour to fly what did this little event SEND THE TAX PAYERS BACK ????
A lot less than that. It's also a marketing expense. You have to advertise to recruit, and you need people be enthusiastic about the military to pressure Congress Members to give it a good budget.
B-1s cost around $50k an hour to fly back when I was stationed at Ellsworth, and I suspect the number is closer to $70k an hour today. However, the USAF requires all flyovers for sporting events, ceremonies, and the like to be conducted in conjunction with an actual training mission. So those bombers conducted actual training either before or after the flyover, so only a small part of the sortie is dedicated to the flyover. It is money well spent for recruiting purposes though.
I doubt you have a clue as to why that doesn't matter. Those planes don't sit on the found until they're needed and those pilots don't sit around waiting to bomb something. The planes need routine flying and the pilots need hours in the air, which this flyover counts as.
I dont get the love affair the airforce has with the b52 even with new engines its still going to be a blood sucking 70 year old dinosaur
