Today I want to show you my witchy morning routine for summer . I enjoy doing it once or twice a week to fill my spiritual and mental cup. I hope you find some inspiration for your own spiritual routine or magical summer morning self-care :)
Recipe for the elderflower pancakes:
8 elderflower umbels
flour 100g
milk 125 ml
pinch of salt
honey 1 ½ tbsp
eggs 1

I appreciate the reminder that wanting to incorporate a spiritual routine in the morning doesn't mean having to do the full routine every day. Because for me that isn't always manageable with having to get kids up and ready for school, and getting up early enough to do my routine first isn't always realistic on a daily basis. Having a reasonable goal of once or twice a week and knowing that someone like you is setting that type of goal too helps encourage me that I'm not all that far off from what others may be doing. Not that it should matter where I am on my path compared to others. But it definitely helps to feel reassured.
I'm glad it reassured you ❤ I would absolutely never be able to keep this up every day but doing it once or twice a week really makes me appreciate it even more and I really look forward to those days ☺️
I actually agree that taking the extra time on a day you know is going to be more difficult than others is worth it. It gives you that extra boost to get through! Lovely video as always Bex.

This is unrelated to the video but I‘ve really had a lot of good things happen for me ever since I started becoming a witch. My mental health got better, my physical health also got a bit better, my career went into a better direction, and I also made it through surgery fine as well despite my fears of it and now it feels like I‘ve gotten rid of a source of chaos in my life with that as well. Both physically but spiritually as well. Many good events took place after I gotten rid of the cyst and I am incredibly greatful for all of it. Feels like my life is finally turning around for the better after years of suffering and darkness pretty much most of my life so I‘m really happy about it.
Hope it can inspire any ppl wanting to get into witchcraft because it can be a really positive thing. Ofc be responsible about yourself and your practice also. But if you feel a calling to it, let it sweep you away. It might just save your life. Or at least lead it back into a more positive and compfortable direction.

Beautiful, yes witchcraft has definitely helped me appreciate the little things and if I make the effort to do a ritual with herbs and a candle for example I always feel so beautifully calm afterwards, now that gas to be good ☺️

Thank you very much! I really do count myself lucky (well, except for the times I need to get anything from the city, because then it is a trip and a half 🤣). I feel that when what you do adds something positive to your life, you are doing just great. After all, we are not doing it for show but for our own wellbeing ☺️

Try and aim for one day a week - that way it is much less overwhelming to start a new habit and you have something to look forward to each week ❤️

What a magikcal start to the day Bex. My garden is sand and weeds right now but we are working on changing this desert landscape to a zen sanctuary in the coming months. The sun rises for me too at 5am in Arizona so that is when I am up. I'll keep you posted how the garden turns out. I already have a cauldron for my magikcal area 🌺🌻🌼🌵🏵

Your elderberry fritters reminded me that I NEED to learn how to identify those blossoms on my own, and soon. My grandparents took me out to harvest elderberry blossoms as a child once, and we took them back to their home to deep fry and sprinkle with powdered (confectioner's) sugar. I remember being so skeptical about eating flowers at first, but I fell instantly in love with them. They were so sweet, delicate, and delicious!
My grandmother has already passed, my grandfather is currently unwell to the point we might lose him any day now. I've ben craving that treat for years, but with their failing health I could never bring myself to ask how to do it... If anyone knows of a really detailed, preferably with quality colored pictures, book on wild edible plants they could recommend a novice forager, I'd be forever grateful! I would love nothing more than to go honor both of my grandparents by harvesting my own wild foods.
Sending much love for your grandad. These flowers are pretty easy to identify just by the smell - if you have eaten them before, you will remember as soon as you smell them! As for a foraging guide I would go to your nearest bookstore and buy one for your area as they are always written with local season and plants in mind ☺️

Oh Bex, this is the way I would love to wake up every day! I am a notorious night owl, but would love to try giving an early rise a go. There is nothing like starting your day with the calming presence of nature. It really does set the tone for the entire day. I can't tell you how I look forward to your inspiring videos. By the way, kudos to your glamour magic--you look radiant!
Pre-kids I was a total night owl too but now that I was forced to get to know the joys of early mornings in solitude, I kind of have changed my tune hahah (well, at least once or twice a week) 😅

hi! honestly i only began practicing both lunar witchcraft and kitchen witch craft three days ago ^_^ i had researched before into witchcraft and felt it was so cool but never knew how to start! but strolling upon ur channel has helped me understand the ways and practices so much so i thank you! even though i have to change or bend some practices as im a young witch but i am still willing to learn and grow! learning witchcraft has helped my mental health recently so much and thank you for spreading your Magic routines , helping us new witches ^_^

I have a hard time getting up before 5:30, but boy do I get sad from missing that sunrise! Your video has inspired me to get up while the light lasts!
Sadly there seems to be a lack of chickory blooms this year on my usual walk! I think they are mowing / prescribed burning too much, while trying to kill invasive species, at the same they might be harming native fauna......
I am mostly a big confused butterfly on my walks on my tiny little island x)
If you are not used to getting up early, I think the key is the evening prep. Lay out / pack everything, get yourself as ready as you can and go to bed early. Then you only need to roll out the bed and into the nearest field 🤣🤣🌄

What a wonderful way to start the morning. Question. what do you suggest when others intrerupt your morning routine? I have a normal routine too, but my wife's hours just changed and she is home in the morning every other day now. She is a chatter box and I like my quite time in the morning. She is not the type to sit and be calum for 30 min.
Great question! I would say that communication is key. Tell her what you need in the morning and set boundaries / manage expectations by telling her what you will do. Or, if that is not an option, do it like me and get up earlier (I always have to wake up way before the kids or otherwise I don't get quiet either😅)
This video really made me rethink my mornings and vow to reimagine how my day could look as a more mindful and greatful person. I am so appreciative of your videos they are wonderful. Thank you.

I loved the video. And I'm intrigued by the elderflower pancakes. I have dried elderflowers on hand and I'm wondering if maybe you have experience with mixing them into pancake batter?
I have never tried it with dried flowers but I guess you could infuse the milk you use for the batter by steeping the blossoms in it (while warm) and then sifting them out before mixing the actual batter

Sunrise is at 5, so I will typically get up at around 4 🌄 but it is absolutely worth it 😄

It took me a few mins to de-code 😂 I love her so much and I watch this video regularly but I must usually skip that part because of the ad (I use a refillable spray bottle with dish soap and some vinegar so I'm not buying single use spray anyways) but I heard it this time and I was like....HUH? 🤣 I thought she was joking talking about some little goblins that come out and mess up the kitchen 💀 but yeah it's the kids and I was dying laughing at that 😂
Usually, non-witchy youtubers who say something like that during an ad read would not be paid for it or would be requested to do a "make-good".. which always seemed silly to me because if you're just acting like yourself and people like who you are (who doesn't love bex?!) Then it shouldn't matter. Isn't that why companies choose that person anyways? Because people like them and find them credible? I wouldn't buy something from an ad from a youtuber that I like if it seemed like they didn't actually like it and they were just reading a script ya know? But I assume she would edit that part out of the video if that happened so my thinking is that they either didn't care (good sign) or they were too intimidated to pull sponsorship or request a make-good from a witch 😂 either way, awesome! and if I ever decide to buy Blueland I will email them that I saw her ad and loved it if the code has expired.
