It’s always warm and sunny in San Diego, we have a very Mediterranean climate, it is so helpful to intentionally notice the seasons changing. I’m so envious of anyone whose leaves change!
When we lived in Monterey in the 90s, we used to joke that the only way you could tell it was summer was that the grass turned brown… even here in Germany, I find it pays to observe seasonal changes because they happen so fast! Happy Lughnasadh to you

Oh that sounds dreadful 😅 this year I feel a bit more at ease as we are not, like usual, spending two months in Cordoba where the sumner temperature is usually in the 120a 🥵 that type of weather I can only truly enjoy with lots and lots of cold cocktails 🤣🤣 sending a cooling breeze

🎉Fellow New Jerseyans! It has been so humid! I have been mostly hiding from the heat, but we have so many good summer things. It's so beautiful and there are so many good vegetables. I will admit, Autumn is my preference, but summer needs more love.
I walk to and from work everyday and i wouldnt mind it being a little bit cooler. Triple digit days are lovely but so hot and melty. Sunbathing nude would scandalize my neighbours and my grass is non-existent( the drought killed it). I do have a lovely wild hill in my backyard that I can climb though. I do love a good nap usually with my cat curled up in my lap purring. One of my favourite things is late summer monsoonal rain storms. I love to go out in them and dance around like a crazy person. I've done it since I was a child and I get funny reactions from both adults and children in my neighbourhood.

I'm trapped in Hawaii and the weather really never changes much. It's usually between 75-85 during the day year round. Spring and fall are my favorite seasons, but here I try to rely on the sabbats to give life a little seasonal flair.
my ♥️ belongs to summer this year. crickets, frogs, fireflies, the warmth, the sun, bonfires, the breeze, the ocean! i just went to salem this summer as well! i cried to the ocean, sitting on the edge of the rocks right at the water, i felt like a fairy being cleansed in the salty air. as i type this it’s storming really crazily outside, and i hope to read outside after work today :) the air will be cleansed of the allergies so it’ll be nice. i also cleaned up a natural area by some rain tracks that was covered in trash and plastic! and i was gifted some bones as i was cleaning
I climbed a hill in the park and grounded under three oak trees as little children played in their splash pad far in the distance where their shrill screams sounded joyful and musical. My female pit bull, Goddess didn’t want to leave!

I love this video, though I started it feeling a bit guilty that I’m one that is definitely looking forward to fall. 90% of the suggestions are nearly impossible for me living in Florida where it’s 98f with 95% humidity- and I’m very sensitive to the heat. I think I get the winter sadness in the summer, I’m inside air conditioning more than outside. Im also in love with nature and being outside, so summers are physical and psychological torture! In cooler months, Im barefoot, picking plants and flowers, camping, fishing, foraging. I just live in a place that doesn’t suit me! I’d rather be in Alaska!

I love early summer mornings and after sunset when the fireflies come out. An idea for cooling off is to take a bath at temperature 85f/29c. It's cooler than body heat so cools you off, but when you get out the temperature difference isn't so extreme that you feel hot right away. This is for people that don't have a lake to skinny dip in, lol!
I totally agree! Each season is witchy, has its own enchantments and summer is so magical😍💖 if we're only looking forward to the next, we're missing the joys of the now. Here in the Netherlands is really rainy now😂with 19 degrees, but it somehow still feels like summer, I can feel and smell it in the air🧚♀️and your video makes the sun come out😉🌻🌞 PS: a net over the bed works best against mosquitos I find✌🏼
I have discovered that if I set the intention to remember my dreams (usually done by "asking" to remember them), I awake around 3 am, with a massive haul in dream recall. It works every time, so well that I had to stop doing it, because it was hampering my slumber.

South of Germany here: 11 °C this morning. First leaves turning colour. The cats are putting on fur (and shed like heck at the same time). The bees start throwing out the drones. I don't want to go all Game of Thrones but: Autumn IS coming :)
I'm up and out watering my garden about 6 every morning. I greet the day, talk to the garden spiders (the kind that make zigzags in their webs), harvest what's ready, maybe have a ritual. I have to enjoy my summer mornings while the temp is under 80°F. It's 98 right now. I'm sitting in front of the ac 😁

I am in the Deep South of the US - where the combination of high temps & high humidity make it feel like Satan's sweaty armpit for about 5 months of the year. So I definitely prefer fall. But I will make an effort to appreciate the sun & the Lammas season (but most likely early in the morning, before the temp's reach hell's kitchen levels).
As a student who spent mooost part of June on exams it all seems like madness to me! Especially being a spring lover who doesn't like getting wet under the rain and waking up cold dark mornings and not having enough of sunlight I haven't got enough summer and don't want it to end so quickly. If only there could be few weeks more of sunny and warm days and evenings! Even the heat seems not so terrible! Thank you for this vid, I'll try to enjoy it as much as I can!

I love the fall season as much as the next witch, but I am not looking forward to the darker half of the year. It is the worst feeling when you get home after work and its night already haha. Gotta enjoy the sun and solar energy while you can! ☀️
The Great Lakes are considered inland seas, so I can do sea magic there. My friends and I picked wild berries and bought corn flour from the local tribe to make bread

I enjoy the summer in NY, Finger Lakes Region is quite beautiful, local watering holes to enjoy family activities such as hiking, camping, swimking in the lakes remains a favorite! But Bex, i love fall most of all

Been working the night shift at a long term care facility basically missed the summer. Switch to that shift because less drama and the residents are asleep. I asked for my other shift back. No sunshine has screwed up my mojo.

I love your channel. Your channel is what has inspired me to get into witchcraft. I didn’t know cottage witchcraft/hearth craft was a thing and found it really resonated with me. I usually can’t wait for summer to be over because winter is my favorite season, but this definitely helps change my mindset. :) Also, I just got my first deck of tarot cards. I’m just starting to make an altar at the hearth of our home - right in the middle of our table. I live with my husband, my 1.5 year old, and our little dog. All I have are a few candles I already had. A deck of tarot cards and some candles. I don’t know if I can call myself a witch, but I’m excited starting this journey.

Over here in Belgium it feels like summer has left us already! We barely had time to complain about the heat and the rains and clouds have come back to haunt us in a big game of "be careful what you wish for". I've been sleeping much better now of course, but I wish the sun would come out so I could make the most of a magical summer still instead of feeling like autumn's here.
I am definitely a summer person and if I could extend it a couple more months I couldn't be happier. After all, summer is the time when you CAN run around naked. I love early summer mornings and after sunset when the fireflies come out. An idea for cooling off is to take a bath at temperature 85f/29c. It's cooler than body heat so cools you off, but when you get out the temperature difference isn't so extreme that you feel hot right away. This is for people that don't have a lake to skinny dip in, lol!

Here in the Netherlands is really rainy now😂with 19 degrees, but it somehow still feels like summer, I can feel and smell it in the air🧚♀️and your video makes the sun come out😉🌻🌞 PS: a net over the bed works best against mosquitos I find✌🏼
I have discovered that if I set the intention to remember my dreams (usually done by "asking" to remember them), I awake around 3 am, with a massive haul in dream recall. It works every time, so well that I had to stop doing it, because it was hampering my slumber.

South of Germany here: 11 °C this morning. First leaves turning colour. The cats are putting on fur (and shed like heck at the same time). The bees start throwing out the drones. I don't want to go all Game of Thrones but: Autumn IS coming :)

I'm up and out watering my garden about 6 every morning. I greet the day, talk to the garden spiders (the kind that make zigzags in their webs), harvest what's ready, maybe have a ritual. I have to enjoy my summer mornings while the temp is under 80°F. It's 98 right now. I'm sitting in front of the ac 😁

I am in the Deep South of the US - where the combination of high temps & high humidity make it feel like Satan's sweaty armpit for about 5 months of the year. So I definitely prefer fall. But I will make an effort to appreciate the sun & the Lammas season (but most likely early in the morning, before the temp's reach hell's kitchen levels).
I think we might need to move states!!

As a student who spent mooost part of June on exams it all seems like madness to me! Especially being a spring lover who doesn't like getting wet under the rain and waking up cold dark mornings and not having enough of sunlight I haven't got enough summer and don't want it to end so quickly. If only there could be few weeks more of sunny and warm days and evenings! Even the heat seems not so terrible! Thank you for this vid, I'll try to enjoy it as much as I can!

I enjoy the summer in NY, Finger Lakes Region is quite beautiful, local watering holes to enjoy family activities such as hiking, camping, swimking in the lakes remains a favorite! But Bex, i love fall most of all

I LOVE summer as a witchy forager, is important for me...and i just love it! where im from there's sooo much abundance in the fields and forest! fresh veggies and fruits berries plums peaches! flowers and herbs everywhere!! dont mind the bugs as i have my trusty bug hat lol i wish it could last a little longer, being from canada by late September everything has pretty much dried out i enjoy it to the very last second

Been working the night shift at a long term care facility basically missed the summer. Switch to that shift because less drama and the residents are asleep. I asked for my other shift back. No sunshine has screwed up my mojo.

I love your channel. Your channel is what has inspired me to get into witchcraft. I didn’t know cottage witchcraft/hearth craft was a thing and found it really resonated with me. I usually can’t wait for summer to be over because winter is my favorite season, but this definitely helps change my mindset. :) Also, I just got my first deck of tarot cards. I’m just starting to make an altar at the hearth of our home - right in the middle of our table. I live with my husband, my 1.5 year old, and our little dog. All I have are a few candles I already had. A deck of tarot cards and some candles. I don’t know if I can call myself a witch, but I’m excited starting this journey.

Over here in Belgium it feels like summer has left us already! We barely had time to complain about the heat and the rains and clouds have come back to haunt us in a big game of "be careful what you wish for". I've been sleeping much better now of course, but I wish the sun would come out so I could make the most of a magical summer still instead of feeling like autumn's here.
